The FX Wildcat MKIII BT VP PCP Air Rifle represents the best combination of value and features by boosting the air capacity and power from the previous model while remaining more affordable than the other versions. It is best-suited for shooting heavy pellets and slugs due to the use of an enhanced Power Plenum, an aluminum bottle instead of an air tube, and dual externally-adjustable AMP regulators.
The VP model utilizes a 400cc aluminum bottle, an 89cc Power Plenum, and a 600mm Superior Smooth Twist X (STX) barrel to deliver both higher power and a higher number of shots per fill. These features combine to enable longer distance shooting with heavier projectiles. Each shot will leave the barrel at an incredibly-consistent speed due to the dual AMP regulators, which stabilize the air rifle's power.
The FX Wildcat MKIII BT VP manages to deliver all these improvements while still offering the features of previous members of the family, such as the silky-smooth sidelever and adjustable two-stage match trigger that yields a clean break and extreme accuracy. It also has the 7-position macro hammer spring tension adjuster dial with an Allen wrench hole for additional micro-adjustments.
The adjustable features on this air rifle allow shooters to achieve anything from a high power shot for shooting long distances or a lower-power shot for target practice. The 1/2" UNF threaded muzzle can accommodate a moderator that helps to lower the noise of shots, and the Picatinny optics rail enables the addition of a scope for accurate aiming.
