The Air Venturi Nomad III 4500 PSI Portable PCP Compressor is an improved version of the previous model with a focus on making it faster and easier. It has the same great features as before, including its compact size and portability, but with important upgrades that make it better than ever.
The new feature that users of the older version will appreciate the most is the reduced fill times. The upgrades to the newer model mean it fills airguns up to 25% faster than before, which results in less time spent waiting and more time spent shooting.
In addition, the Air Venturi Nomad III now requires less maintenance than the prior version. It no longer needs to be lubricated with silicone oil every few fills, making it easier and more convenient for frequent use.
This is still a compact compressor that can be taken to the field or a range because it operates off of a 12V car battery with the included jumper cables, or off of a regular 110V or 220V outlet, providing multiple options to get power wherever and whenever needed.
Another feature that returns from the previous model that users really appreciate is the adjustable automatic shut-off. Simply set the compressor to the desired fill pressure—up to 4500 PSI—and it will automatically stop filling at that pressure. In addition, this compressor has built-in LEDs on the bottom that deliver light even if it gets dark outside.

Is this suitable to fill an air tank to 4500 psi. Or it just suitable for small reservoirs on air rifles.

Depends on the bottle size. Smaller tanks, will be well under 10 minutes.

This compressor was superbly packaged in foam inside expanded cardboard. This came to me via several flights to the Caribbean, and arrived in perfect condition. I comes with several replacement parts, such as filters, O-rings, fuses, etc. and has a very rugged thick nylon case with equally rugged carry handle and strap. Electrical cord, fill hose, quick connects, and battery connections are included. It has a very detailed description of how to convert the compressor from 110V to 220. It appears very well built, and everything is tight and solid. So far, it works exactly as advertised, and I'm overjoyed at not having to use the hand pump for my PCP.
Things I would have changed:It would be useful if the hose were two feet longer.
What others should know:You no longer have to add frequent lubricant, and it has a very useful LED light on the bottom. It is lightweight -- about 20 lbs. -- compact and appears to be excellent value for the money. This is my birthday present, and I couldn't be more pleased.
