The Hatsan Factor BP Regulated PCP Air Rifle is an update to this platform that adds compact power with adjustable options. Capable of muzzle energy up to 140 FPE in .30 and 144 FPE in .35, it provides the power and accuracy needed for hunting small and medium game, as well as pest control.
This air rifle includes features for tuning and versatility, including an externally-adjustable hammer preload dial and an externally-adjustable regulator. These features combine to allow the shooter to customize the cocking effort and power level.
The Hatsan Factor BP utilizes precision-rifled and choked QuietEnergy barrel to deliver accurate shots. The barrel is fully shrouded and also has an integrated moderator that results in a low noise level from each shot, as well as a M14 x 1.25 threaded muzzle to accommodate an aftermarket moderator.
The stock on this regulated air rifle has an adjustable textured soft rubber pistol grip, and a rubber buttpad that adjusts for elevation and angle. It also has a cheekpiece that adjusts to nine positions in 5mm increments, for 40mm of elevation adjustment. In addition, it comes with a removable 580cc carbon fiber bottle that yields up to 32 shots at optimal velocity (within 85% of peak velocity) in .30 and 28 shots in .35.
The two-stage black metal Quattro Trigger has a shoe that adjusts for both left and right angle and vertical position to allow a sharp break. The long 11mm dovetail and Weaver/Picatinny combination optics rail on the aluminum receiver provides scope options and the removable Picatinny accessory rail allows for the addition of a bipod.

Can I fit 44.75 gr Polymag Predators in the .30 magazine?
No,they are too long,if remove. The red tip,they work.

Just got my Factor today. 3o caliber. First impressions, it's smaller than any reviews I've seen. It states it will put out 140 FPE. The folks at Pyramyd did the 10 for $10 test. The best it made was 85.75 at 929 FPS. They set the hammer preload all the way up, and the regulator was set at 160. I don't know how much farther it will go, but I think these numbers are OK. The workmanship is really good. A very well made rifle. It' a chore to cock, a lot more than I wanted. But I've only run two mags through it. It seems to have loosened up some. It came with three mags, it was supposed to come with only two. Two were new, unused but the third was used. No matter, it still was fine. the Mags were very hard to load into the rifle. I didn't get any accuracy test, It's rainy today. It came in a really nice hard case. All this will certainly change as It gets more broken in. Love the trigger. I'll not adjust it at all. I have a Blitz .30 and I hate that trigger. It's loud. Donny El required
Things I would have changed:Sell it with the proper owners manual. Mine came with the Factor RC and standard Factor. Both those only go as high as 25 cal, my BP is a 30. In 30 cal the mags will hold 16 pellets. Nice. It's rather expensive at $1300. I should have held out for the Factor Viper Long.
What others should know:There aren't too many .30 calibers that are as nice as this rifle is. Its easily adjustable. Hammer spring and regulator are right out in the open where anybody can make it work with their choice of pellets. It's a bit heavy but not a deal breaker. Pyramyd did the test using 44.75 grain pellets. I used 56 grain. I'll retest with 44.75's. It uses what appear to be the same mags the Blitz uses.
