This robust trap from UTG can take a hit from steel BBs and powerful pellet guns. The trap's polymer body helps control ricochet, and the ballistic curtains slow down steel BBs and pellets as they enter the trap. Ballistic curtains help keep the ammo inside the trap, reducing your exposure to lead fragments and lead dust.

Shooters and spectators should always wear safety glasses. Never use this trap with ammo other than the ones listed above. Remember to check the steel backer and replace it if it shows wear. Regularly replace the cardboard to help control ricochets. Do not use this airgun trap with any caliber larger than .177. Do not shoot at it with firearms (even if the velocity is under 1200 fps).

Things I liked:

The small size of the trap.

Things I would have changed:

The targets should be stored outside of the trap so that the paper is not folded out of the box. The hinges supposed to hold the targets were damaged during shipping.

Things I liked:

This is exactly what I needed to do some plinking in my backyard. I was worried about BB's ricocheting. So far so good. I already have to purchase something for my old lady due to a ricochet. Lol.

Things I would have changed:

Nothing

What others should know:

Nothing I can think of at the moment.

Things I liked:

good selection and thirty day trial period.

Things I would have changed:

leapers trap does not work well with pellets. bbs only.

What others should know:

it is a good trap for bbs but pellets rip the curtain up even with my 675fps. hw30. round not pointed pellets used.

Same question as Fred. What happened to the replacement ballistic curtains PA used to sell? I also had them on my PA wish list and now it's gone!

    • Tyler Patner from USA answered:

      They have been discontinued

  • Fred from USA asked:

PA used to carry replacement ballistic curtains for this trap. I can't find them on the website. Do they still carry them?

    • Tyler Patner from USA answered:

      They have been discontinued

  • Armando from USA asked:

I had read that this trap will only allow cardboard inserts that are 1/8" thick, but I have made over 100 replacement cardboards for my old Crosman 852 Pellet Trap that are 3/16" thick and wondered if they will fit in this trap. Does anybody know if 3/16" cardboard will slide into the front of this trap? Thank you in advance for any help.

    • Charles from USA answered:

You should be able to use 3/16 cardboard, just be sure the corrugation ribs run vertical and not horizontal, this allows you to compress the edges of the cardboard to slide down through the guides. If the ribs run horizontal it becomes more troublesome to compress the edges and doesn't slide as easily. I once use 1/4" inch cardboard in mine, although that was a pretty snug fit.
