Rapid Air Worx has one of the most legendary reputations in the airgun world and for good reason: they are supremely accurate with the very best of Made-in-America build quality. Sporting a top-of-the-line Lothar Walther polygonal barrel, and an extremely consistent regulator, what really sets these guns apart from anything else on the market is their truly match-grade trigger. This two-stage trigger breaks at about 6 ounces from the factory but it can be set even lighter and still preserve the extremely crisp second stage wall that breaks like glass. Taken all together, this is a recipe for competition-level accuracy, and in fact, RAWs have taken top spots in more competitions than we can keep track of!
It features a very smooth side-lever action and a two piece shroud that knocks the report of this powerhouse down to manageable levels compared to the older eccentric shroud.
The HM1000X Chassis rifle takes the proven HM1000X action and drops it into a tactically-styled chassis with M-LOK interfaces on three sides, keeping the weight down and the profile slim, while still giving you all of the real estate for mounting accessories that you could possibly need. The grip and stock are fully AR-15 compatible so you can switch them out for your preferred furniture, but most shooters will appreciate the adjustability and fit of the A-B Arms buttstock, that will accommodate virtually any length of pull and height of cheek.

I love everything about this gun. The way it was built the engineering, very few O-rings and seals. I did not have to tune it,just found out what pellet it liked. It will shoot under one inch groups at 100 yards

I love this gun. I got it in .22 cal. It is by far one of the most accurate guns I have owned. I shoot sitting down using a bi pod with it. I can walk a baseball with it from 50 yard out past a hundred yard easy.
Things I would have changed:Gun ships with a left handed magazine. Can't use it with a scope having a side wheel. I would ship it with right handed magazine.

what kind of shot count can i expect in 22 ?
For benchrest target shooting, what is the maximum range for this rifle?
This rifle can be used for 100 yard benchrest. I use mine to shoot chipmunks out to 148 yards (that is the length of my range).
what is the recommended scope for this beauty?!
Craig, This is a complicated question; but simply put a scope that fits the purpose that you are buying the rifle for. If you are looking to shoot tiny groups something with a range 5/10-25/50 and with enough light gathering and clarity to be able to see of pellet holes in paper at the distance that you are shooting. Specifically a Falcon X50 for benchrest shooting or a Element Nexus for pest control have been good marriages with this rifle. Others will also recommend scopes like NightForce and Vortex; but the most important thing will be matching your scope to your purpose.
