Things I liked:

Kind of new to air guns, but so far I am impressed.

Things I would have changed:

I should have gotten the suppression kit. My friend has one and it increases the distance and accuracy.

What others should know:

Remember that safety is still important. These are still dangerous when someone gets careless.

Things I liked:

Absolutely Nothing. The Seals leak air at an unusable rate. The $100 I spent on it is wasted. Waited to long to return it as I was very busy.

Things I would have changed:

New Seals

What others should know:

Better options out their like the Sig Sauer cp99

    Things I liked:

Fits my XL size hands perfectly. Sights easy to see. Easy to load clips.

    Things I would have changed:

More robust trigger mechanism. More space below clips for larger fingers

    What others should know:

I had only shot a few clips when trigger mechanism broke inside and trigger just pulls back without contacting anything; gun now a paperweight.

    Things I liked:

IS NOT MADE in CCP CHINA. Nice looking, good fit, easy to load, CO2 doesn't need a separate key.

    Things I would have changed:

It's made in Japan which is fine, my pref would be that it's made in USA but hey, I'll take what I can get.

Accurate, fixed, white dot iron sight. Smooth action. Powerful!..

    Things I would have changed:

Make bottom grip cover fit tighter.

    What others should know:

Get extra mags to stay shooting longer without stopping to reload.

    Things I liked:

This is a fun gun to shoot! The blowback on this gun is great but it does affect my accuracy - not the gun's but mine. I bought a couple extra clips and it's great to rip though ammo. This gun is full size and feel good in the hands.

    Things I would have changed:

I would be great to have adjustable sights but at this price point I don't know how feasible that would be. Also, I do not like the safety. Maybe it will loosen up over time but I find it very tight.

    What others should know:

Buy extra co2! The blowback does bleed some air so you won't get as many shots as you would with a non-blowback pistol.

    Things I liked:

This pistol is really great IMO, Feels like a real modern 9mm ,the blowback function is awesome ,and realistic , the accuracy is excellent. At 450 fps max velocity it can do away with rodents easily. Plus the 16 round mag is just right .

    Things I would have changed:

the safety, I would move it to the thumb position ,on the opposite side where it is now.

    What others should know:

Last Gamo CO2 BB pistol I had years ago did not last very long, hopefully this one will, the quality is excellent.

    Things I liked:

The gamo line is new to me, I do find this piece to be fun to shoot and gives a realistic slide action feel. Paper targets worked out good but my metal spinners worked well also to get a feel for it. The rifled barrel definitely helps the accuracy of this pistol. The grip is good and the finger pull is just about rite.

    Things I would have changed:

I know this isn't a high dollar item but some adjustable sites would make this better.

    What others should know:

Having run through some ammo and feeling this piece out. I decided to add a lazer site to the bottom rail, this helps a lot with quick siting and makes the pistol more balanced in the hand.

Feels good and looks great! It has a nice pop when shooting it.

    Things I would have changed:

A little less powerful than I was expecting.

    What others should know:

Pulling the slide all the way back, at the end there is a bit of spring-creaking noise, but no big deal.

    Things I liked:

Normally I buy replicas, but for lack of options I tried this one because of the reviews saying it shoots straight, which is one of the most important features in a gun, replica or not. The loading of the CO2 is simple and good. The gun has a good weight, feels good in the hand and has a crispy blowback. The slide has a cut resembling the ejection window. There are not ugly white warnings/marks and you can put accessories on the Picatinny rail.

    Things I would have changed:

Full magazine and stop firing after the last shot. The blowback should move the next pellet into position avoiding the trigger having a hard spot before firing. That safe is hard to put in fire.

    What others should know:

It really shoots straight and a little down. At 15 feet, free hand, you need to put the front sight on top of the 1-inch bullseye. It is hard to have consistent hits because of the trigger, but still away better than most of the replicas I have. All shots hit inside the 3.75-inch circle with a lot inside the 2-inch. I had 64 good rounds per CO2. Pay attention the way you insert the stick magazine, although it has only one way to fit inside and be ready to catch it when the release button is pressed, it jumps.

Greetings from Argentina. This Gamo PT-85 pistol has been out of stock for a long time in my country. However, I will be buying a second-hand one (this guy bought it in Brazil last December - has not used it) so, I hope everything will be fine. Regarding plastic components, and worm out possibilities, my suggestion is use silicon lubricant (only a tiny drop) where necessary. That will be more than enough for good and proper maintenance. Regards.

like the fact, it has blow back, with over 400fps, with alloy pellets. looks real, fits well in my hands. loud for a co2 pistol. it is a good self defense pellet gun. it shoots the steal poitned blue arrows with no jams. from 6 feet away, it puncherd a coconut shell.

    Things I would have changed:

ajustabel rear sights, bettter mag release . have a treaded barrel for a supprresor.

    What others should know:

make sure your pellets fit snug and don't protrude beyound the mag hole. the 5.5 grain predtors work excelent. a nice wadcutter.

    Things I liked:

This is my second PT 85 and I absolutely love this pistol. I usually get about three magazines out of one CO2 cartridge before losing power but that's because of the blow back which I absolutely love

    Things I would have changed:

Adjustable sights would be great but I found a nice little laser sight I can now place almost all 48 rounds in the size of a quarter from 10 yards away using crosman premier pointed pellets 7 grain from 10 yards away!

    What others should know:

My first pistol had a problem that developed after about a year-and-a-half the magazine would fall out or come loose after two or three rounds. I have noticed that other people have had the same problem and I know exactly what the problem is - after use inserting and ejecting the magazine the (magazine clip) wears out. I contacted Gamo on this issue to see if I could just purchase the part and they do not sell the part - I explained to them in detail what the issue was told them that it was a manufacturing defect sent them my pistol and they repaired it for free. Anyone else having this pistol might want to contact Gamo customer service tell them that you're (magazine clip) has worn out because it is made of plastic and see if they will do be same repair work for you! Let me know if that helps - in the meantime what I do now with my new pistol is to press the eject button while I am inserting the magazine to keep it from wearing out!!!

    Things I liked:

This is a great plinking gun with realistic Blowback action. I like the weight of the gun and how well it fits in my small hands. The 3 dot sights are very easy to acquire. The trigger is excellent especially for this price point. Its one of the lightest double action trigger pull I have experienced in a CO2 pellet pistol.

    Things I would have changed:

    Would like adjustable sights.

    What others should know:

The sights are not adjustable. The gun is a very fun plinker. I only rated the gun 3 stars on accuracy because the sights are not adjustable, but once you get accustomed to the sights its accurate enough for plinking and target shooting. I am getting about 60 shots per canister. I am really glad I bought this gun because it is loads of fun.

Rear sight. Add some kind of way to put on scope/red dot/laser. Like the tactical model.

    What others should know:

Non-adjustable rear sight. Mine is way off on elevation. Can't raise rear sight, possibly file down front!? (shoots low)
