Things I liked:

The weight, feel accuracy, trigger, blow, back, looks, well just about everything about mine. I was a little reluctant at first to buy this pistol, having heard the issues with the safety and trigger. The safety is accuated almost in 2 stages press it down half way until it feels like it wants to stop and then click it the rest of the way to engage the safe mode . Do the opposite to put in in the fire mode. The trigger is pretty much the same, mine acts like a 2 stage trigger,I pull it in until I feel it stop and then pull it the rest of the way in to fire, I have had no bbs roll out of the barrell or jam. The pistols slide is nice and smooth and adds to the good grouping at 20 to 25 ft.The co2 is easy to put in and it works with any type of 12 gram co2 cartridge, the peircinc pin is solid as is the seal. Just remember to put a little pell gun oil on the co2 seal when you shoot and store the gun

Things I would have changed:

You really do need to get extra stick mags for this at Pyramid. That was the major sticking point of my purchase of this gun, soooo please extra stick mags guys and gals.

What others should know:

This is one of my favorite air guns and I can see why it was so popular with the German Navy ( mostly )it is a well made very and I mean very accurate pistol, mostly due to the way the slide functions so smoothly and once you master the 2 stages of the trigger I think you will like this little pistol as much as I do.

+Cheap blowback +Loud (might be a downside to some but not me) +Realistic looking

    Things I would have changed:

-Loud (might be a downside to some but not me) -Unrealistic mag (stick mag)

    What others should know:

Other than the stick mag, I love this airgun. Decent accuracy, sounds real, and has never jammed. The mag does not contain the CO2 which is the only thing I'd change so that this gun's mag would look nicer. Only upside to the mag situation is it makes replacements cheaper.

THE HEFT AND FEEL JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL I HAD YEARS AGO. VERY ACCURATE AND POWERFUL ENOUGH TO GO THROUGH SOUP CAN AT 30 FEET.

    Things I would have changed:

TRIGGER PULL GAVE ME A HERNIA ! JOKING BUT, VERY HARD TRIGGER PULL.

    Things I liked:

I love my real one, and I love this one. Fairly tight, no rattles. Good blowback. Feels good in my hand and balanced. Mags are not difficult to load. Worth buying. I plan on using these replicas for display in the future den while the real ones stay in the gun safe. I need to take some scotch-brite or fine grit sandpaper to them to get the worn look. Accuracy seems ok for what it is.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish the front sight was a real dovetail so I could adjust it a little. I wish the magazine had the CO2 cartridge in it like some others, so there would be a chance for the CO2 cartridges to warm up by switching out magazines.

    What others should know:

I suppose I should agree with others and the warnings not to take the slide off. Getting the slide spring in for me was a pain. I managed to do it but kinked the spring in the process. So, this is my 2nd CO2 P-38. I guess I have extra parts now. I wish the frame was milled more like the real one in that regard. I think after having it apart that the reason for the long trigger pull is that part of the gas nozzle assembly travels almost 1/2 inch forward to the magazine as you pull the trigger. I do not know how they could adjust the trigger without a major internal design change because of this.

    Things I liked:

AWSOME little workhorse of a "plinker" Action works great and construction is incredibly close to a real P38. Field strip is similar to actual firearm right down to the locking lug. Pistol is an accurate shooter and fits a P38 holster like original. The whole "Legends" series, MP40, P08 (with toggle action) and others are impressive in weight, quality and construction. If you already shoot co2 guns, be aware the action taps gas to operate just like a real gun so you will find cartridge use is up. It's worth it! This gun and other Umarex guns are a blast and worth every penny.

    Things I would have changed:

Great markings with 'Walther" banner. Add waffen-amt and date marks for a true fake out.

    What others should know:

Pyramid Air is a great vendor with good customer support.

    Things I liked:

I get 140 good shots from 1 Crosman Powerlet. Accuracy you'd expect from a smooth bore BB gun. First few shots loud with a kick. I've shot around 700 rounds so far. I use the Umarex BBs for this as it's made by Umarex and those are premium BBs.

    What others should know:

I also have the Crosman version of this and this one is a lot better as it should be. The Crosman P41 was about 40 dollars less. I have been debating buying this Walther P38 for several months and finally gave in, and I'm glad I bought it. Lots of fun!

    Things I would have changed:

Its not weathered has not an antique look of a pistol of its time. It looked more like a toy. I don't really buy replicas to shoot more as a keep sake. I was going to return it I didn't want to bother. I didn't like the fact it didn't have a weathered look like I was expecting.
