German quality, hand-assembled and ready to accept any task you give it! At only 7.3 lbs., this breakbarrel marvel will delight you with spot-on accuracy. The R9 begs to be shot all day long, and you'll have a hard time refusing.
Repeatable accuracy is built into the gun at the factory, and you won't outgrow it. Its German heritage ensures that it'll perform flawlessly for hunting, pest elimination, paper targets, field targets or plinking. If you plan to shoot field target, .177 is the optimum caliber. If hunting small game and pest elimination are in your plans, .20 caliber is a better choice.
The hardwood Monte Carlo stock includes a slightly raised cheekpiece that is so unobtrusive that it's ambidextrous! The dependable breakbarrel mechanism is smooth and easy to cock. The famous Rekord trigger is the standard by which all other triggers are measured and can be adjusted to suit your needs. Easily add a scope on the 11mm dovetails; accepts a vertical scope stop pin.
Don't forget to pick up a variety of recommended pellets, which are listed in the AMMO link. Select appropriate accessories, including scopes and targets, by clicking on the ACCESSORIES link.

Beeman R (9 Everything
Things I would have changed:Add gold insert to front sight , which I did shows up a lot better cause sight has hood. see jdcap26 on Y.T for info on that . It is back yard friendly not loud.
What others should know:Tighten all screws and clean barrel before using it

Very high quality construction, you can tell it was built to last by people who care about workmanship. Quite accurate out of the box, just a couple clicks on the fixed site elevation and I was hitting tight groups at 20 yards.
What others should know:Likely add optics at some point but for now it’s been really fun just to plink in the back yard. Noise level is neighbor friendly, just the spring twang and the sound of hitting metal targets.

Can anyone confirm the country of origin for this unit?
Mine says made in Germany.
Is the Beeman R9 manufactured and assembled in the Germany? China? or the USA?I know Robert Beeman used to be CEO and own Beeman line but that was when I was younger like 25 years ago. I own the R1 and still shoots like no other!!! Does anyone know exactly where it is assembled and made? Thanks! - Greg in WVA
How come this has a 40lb cocking effort while the R1/HW80 only has a 34lb cocking effort
Mine has 29 lbs. of cocking force.
Mine out of the box was 31lbs measured 1" back from the muzzle. Note; I bought the Weihrauch HW95 which is what this gun is, but I suppose it is possible that the Beeman version uses a stronger spring. I've never heard that, just saying I suppose it's possible. So my guess is 40 is a mistake, which happens a lot when it comes to specs. This gun also has a rather short barrel and the HW80 has a rather long barrel, so it's possible the 80, with it's greater leverage, is only 34. The HW95 is an excellent gun to get and it's one of the very few I suggest people buy. Since you're in Ireland I'd also be looking for a used Feinwerkbau 124. I bet there are lots of them there collecting dust. Basically the same power, more accurate and substantially easier to cock. It's basically a legend and the gun by which all other break barrels are judged.

Light weight, Easy to Cock, Accurate, Love the open sights, The trigger is amazing, Looks and feels like a real firearm, Very well made. I was able to hold a good group at 25yards with this gun with no problem.
Things I would have changed:The dove tail rail on this rifle? I like the scope rail system that came on my Diana 460mag better.
What others should know:I gave this rifle 5 stars even though I am not a fan of the dove tail rail on this rifle. Overall I am very satisfied with my decision to own the R9 in .177. "I see a .22 R9 in my future."
