Things I liked: Made of metal, feels real and looks cool!, and holds 600 rounds, much more than the plastic one that comes on the Kraken rifle, You'll want to get this for backup ammo and continued play, and also so you're not the only kid with just the plastic one :)

Things I would have changed: Works by firing some rounds, then you have to spin a star wheel on the bottom to 'load' more for firing. Not a big deal, but the clockspring on this wheel broke after 3-days of use, and so did the one on the plastic clip that came with the gun. Doesn't appear to be a way to take it apart to fix it. So apparently it takes a very cautious user to spin the wheel without breaking the internal workings. I find this an unacceptable design for kids who will be running around unloading hundreds of plastic bb's and their supposed to be 'gentle' with this little wheel and somehow listen for some change in the 'sound' from it to know it's loaded enough bb's (we never could hear any change in sound in it). Be prepared to spend yet another $18 bucks to replace this thing. Disappointed that the most important part for continuous play (aside from the battery) is not designed better for rugged use.
