1-year limited warranty Tired of having pellets and BBs scatter all over the house? The Quiet Pellet Trap ends that problem forever, because it's loaded with 15 lbs. of ballistic putty that captures and holds your ammo. It's great for outdoor use, too! The trap is suited to guns that produce less than 18 foot-pounds of energy at 10 meters.
If you notice your ammo popping out of the trap, then it's time to remove the pellets and BBs stuck in the putty. But, that won't happen until you've shot a LOT of rounds.
The frame of the trap is made of walnut-stained pine. It's 13.5"Hx12.5"W. There's a groove that accepts a target, such as the NRA official 10-meter 12-bull air rifle target. There's also a target backer so you can attach any size target you like.
Includes: Pellet trap, 15 lbs. of ballistic putty, 1 target backer and 4 NRA 12-bull targets.

Things I would have changed:he back panel needs to be stronger and held on more securely to avoid having the weight of the ballistic putty make it detach from the rest of the box What others should know:Customer service was excellent -- among the best I've experienced for an internet purchase.

This is not a big deal as there are a number of ways to fix it on your own that are quite easy. It is a bit smaller than I would have like it to be and I would have really liked to get more targets with it. What others should know:Overall the trap works as advertised. Despite poor assembly and size issues it is a very quiet, practical trap for using indoors or out. Impact is probably 85-90% quieter than with anything else I've used. Be careful when shooting toward the edges on this trap. If your putty is not well distributed it is very easy to put a hole through the back of this thing. I have a few times so far but it has not stopped this thing from doing its job.

What others should know:I got this to replace my homemade traps. I "upgraded" it as soon as I received it from PA. I added 2 wood screws to the top and bottom on each side and 4 additional screws to the back. I sealed/joined the interior edges with silicone sealant. I spread a layer of silicone sealant on the interior back panel and placed two sheets of 18ga steel on top of the silicone. I had two pieces that fit the width perfectly and overlapped about an inch in the center. I packed an additional 5lbs (along with the 15lbs) on top of the steel plates. I tested it with some standard velocity 40gr 22's and it held up fine. I should note that this NOT what it's intended for. I wanted the trap to SAFELY handle 25 to 30ft/lbs - meaning most air rifles and pistols. The test with the 22's was only meant to convince me that there was a sufficient safety margin for "normal" air guns. I'm not suggesting that this trap is suitable for 22 rimfire in any way. But you can upgrade it a "little".
