Hill is known in the industry for making superior hand pumps. They've been producing commercial pumps for over 170 years and have applied their industry knowledge to the manufacture of airgun hand pumps. Hill MK3 hand pumps have a reputation for being extremely durable and outlasting other pumps by many years. Because the Hill MK3 hand pump is easy to disassemble, it can be easily serviced by the owner.

There's no other manufacturer that sells replacement parts for their hand pumps. In fact, there's no hand pump manufacturer that recommends disassembly of their products. Other manufacturers state that disassembly will void your warranty! Your Hill MK3 hand pump comes with a lifetime warranty. Maintain it as indicated in the owner's manual, use Hill replacement parts as needed and you'll have a hand pump on which you can depend for decades.

Things I liked:Good Quality and Rebuildable
    Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:I have found that if you pull the handle all the way up and hold it up for 5 seconds or more, then smoothly and briskly push all the way down and HOLD for 10 to 15 seconds AT THE BOTTOM of the stroke you will need less strokes. This becomes more important as the pressure goes over 2000 psi. On my Mrod, I can get 30 psi rise on each stroke (in the 2000-3000 range) by doing this. I use a large 4 1/2" 5000 psi industrial gauge in the charge line to monitor pressure and to verify that the little gauges are correct.

Things I liked:Very high quality. Extremely well made
What others should know:This pump is very hard to use. You need to be in excellent physical shape to use it. I was never able to charge my Recluse above 1500 psi.

Things I liked:If you have to use a hand pump to charge your air rifle, this is the best pump you could purchase, a little on the expensive side, but as had been said many times, " you get what you pay for " definitely a high quality pump, very well made.
Things I would have changed:I added a extension on to the hose that comes with the pump and it could still be a bit longer to facilitate a easier fill.
What others should know:Start out with the best and you will have no regrets.

    • Jasper from India asked:

What adaptor is needed for Walther 1250 Dominator PCP Air Rifle ?

      • Joe from USA:

PCP Hookup tab on the Walther 1250 page shows you will need this adapter

    • David H from USA asked:

What adapter do I need for Hatsan AT44PA PCP Air Rifle?

      • Tyler from USA:

No adapter is needed. The Hatsan fill probe will thread right into the end of the Hill hose.

      • Val from USA:

If you go to the rifle, and then click PCP Hookup tab it will show you the adapter you need for each source of air!

    • Bob from USA asked:

Want to ditch the short fill hose with a quick connect hose. What adaptor(s) would work with this pump? Suggestions

      • Tyler from USA:

To add a quick connect fitting, search part number 4926, that will be a female quick disconnect. That is what you need. Search 4119 for a longer hose
