The AirForce Condor delivers from 600 fps to a rip-snorting 1450 fps (in .177), and it's recoilless! Accurate (1" at 50 yards) and powerful, this PCP offers extreme flexibility. It has a 24" Lothar Walther barrel (1:16 twist). You can also buy 12" and 18" barrels. Change-outs are easy and don't require any special tools. Built in the USA.
NOTE: The .20 cal. pellets are slightly longer than the .22 cal. pellets of the same weight. Therefore, they drag in the barrel a little more and produce lower velocities. The quoted figures (showing the .20 cal. gun shooting slower than the .22 cal. gun) are actual test figures and are correct.
Does not come with sights or a refill clamp. The refill clamp is needed if you're going to fill your gun's air reservoir with a scuba tank.

Things I would have changed:Nothing at all. What others should know:Very loud, sounds like a 22 rim fire on high especially in a neighborhood where there are buildings and walls for the sound to bounce off of, low power setting is still pretty loud but not as bad, I got the hand pump and the scuba fill adapter which is recommended, the hand pump is a work out from 2500 to 3000 psi, the scuba filling is nice the only thing is with an 80 cu.3000 psi scuba tank you can expect to fill the bottle about 8 times before having to refill the scuba tank and the pressure will drop a little each time you fill due to the scuba tank only holds 3000 psi to began with, still is a very nice feature.

Things I liked:Very, very accurate and powerful. Great design. (Pretty much everything). Things I would have changed:Pretty loud. There are some aftermarket silencers you can buy, but I purchased two Talon SS's that I use more often. (one in .22 the other in .177). The Condor is .177 with the 24 in. barrel and I have an 18 in. barrel in .22. Things I would change? NOTHING! It seems Air Force has anticipated every thing that I would want. That said, no big deal, but I would prefer the safety to be outside the trigger guard. Also I would like to be able to re-engage the safety after cocking and releasing it. What others should know:So far this year, 8 woodchucks. All head shots with the Condor. Using the Condor with the 24 in. barrel, Eunjin 250 grain pellets, it pretty much takes the head off. All shot within 25 to 65 yds. in my backyard. The Air Force 4X16 scope makes it pretty easy. The little varmints play havoc with my wife's expensive flowers. They don't eat them, just cut them down, out of spite I guess, (or maybe revenge for the 26 of their relatives I dispatched last year). Of all the air guns I own, and I have a lot, the Air Force Talon SS and the Condor are the most consistently accurate, and dependable air rifles that I own. So impressive in fact that I bought a Bauer air compressor to save the trips back and forth to the dive shop ( to have a tank filled from 2300 psi to 3200 psi). With a gun to my head, (an air gun), if I were faced with the choice of giving up all my air rifles, and pistols, I would not be devastated if I could manage to keep my Talon SS in .22.

Things I liked:In my short time of owning a .22 cal. condor I've found it to be even more than I expected. The accuracy and power are both simply great. I don't have a chronograph yet; so I haven't approached the capabilities of the rifle. All I have accomplished is to choose a mid power range of 6 to 7 and zero at 30-35 yards (which, in my

I don't have a chronograph yet; so I haven't approached the capabilities of the rifle. All I have accomplished is to choose a mid power range of 6 to 7 and zero at 30-35 yards (which, in my basement is about one inch low at 16 yards. Shooting the Diabolo Exact, 15.8 grains, the Condor will strike the same hole! I consistently hit starlings at 50 to 65 yards aiming dead on. Two squirrels met their demise, one at 70 yards and one at 75 yards aiming at the hair on their backs. That is shooting straight, flat, and hard. I'm impressed! Also, I think the design, feel, and trigger are really nice. Things I would have changed:Less noise would be nice. Also, a scuba tank would save a lot of hard pumping. What others should know:As I have previously read in other comments, If you are thinking about a Condor, go ahead and get it. If it performs like mine you will certainly be satisfied. One point when ordering, ask for verification that an adaptor is sent with the pump. After a long wait for the rifle, I had to wait an additional 5 days for the adaptor. Another long wait when you are anxious to get started.

I am using CO2 tanks at this time and have made no adjustments from what it arrived at. Currently shooting at approx 30 yards pin point accuracy with cross man hollow points. The trigger is very crisp. Things I would have changed:The price was extreme when I ordered but after receiving it is well worth it. It would have been nice to be able to get the 20oz tank butt plate when purchased as I had to go to a paint ball supplier to get them. What others should know:With the current set up of 177 cal the noise is worse than normal pellet guns but not as load as the videos on this site with the 22 cal barrel.

Things I liked:Super sharp accuracy. Cool look. Many great add ons. Easy and inexpensive to switch to CO2 for just plinking. Simple and easy to take apart and reasemble. Three years and I am still impressed and glad I made the purchase. Things I would have changed:Grip and trigger could be upgraded. What others should know:Loud

Seems to have a sweet spot at 2700 psi.
