    The AirForce Talon SS on CO2 delivers up to 700 fps (in .177). This air rifle offers extreme flexibility along with continued great accuracy (1" at 50 yards...or better!). The power wheel, although intended for use with the gun on high-pressure air, still has a slight amount of adjustability running on CO2. Since the rifle has NO recoil, you can comfortably shoot all day long without the fatigue and pain associated with spring-piston rifles.

    From its Lothar Walther barrel (1:16 twist) to its removable tank, the Talon SS is the standard for state-of-the-art manufacturing of air rifles. Made of space-age polymers and aircraft-grade aluminum, it's lightweight and equipped with a durable finish. The tank does double-duty as the butt of the gun, contributing to its light weight and convenience.

    Not sure which caliber to get? Get all of them! Extra barrels are available, and change-outs are quick and easy and don't require any special tools.

    The Talon SS is the same basic rifle as the Talon, but an integral suppressor and a 12" barrel are standard.

    If you want to also shoot your Talon SS on air, you'll need to order an AirForce air tank and a way to fill the tank (scuba tank, handpump or electric pump). All items are listed in the ACCESSORIES links.

    .177 cal delivers 11.43 ft-lbs or 15.49 joules
    .22 cal delivers 11.82 ft-lbs or 16.02 joules

    There are lots of ways to configure this gun, including rail-mounted accessories (coin-slot screws for each changeout). You can choose the laser, flashlight, night vision equipment, extra tanks and quick-detach fiber-optic sights. If you replace the barrel with a longer one, the gun will not be silenced.

    Things I liked:Outstanding air rifle. The accuracy is excellent. The rifle will shoot 1/2" at 30 yards. It may do better than I can shoot and I have only shot a single type of pellets. It is very quiet and extremely well build. The scope is very good, not a Leupold, but a good value for the cost. I order the C02 version and it still came with the air tank so I can switch over very easily.
    Things I would have changed:The 4-16X power scope, for me at least, is too much magnification. I this think something like a 2-7x would be more appropriate for a pellet gun but that is just my opinion.
    What others should know:If you get this with the 20 oz CO2 tank, you will need to raise the scope up another inch. Otherwise, it is nearly impossible to get a good sight picture in the scope.

    Things I liked:Excellent accuracy! I am using RWS Meisterkugeln Standard 22 cal 14.0 grain pellets and at 30 yards, the groups are less that 0.25"! It is quiet, no recoil, and so far shot 500 rounds on the tank and still going!
    Things I would have changed:The safety could be longer. The trigger is OK but not awesome. I was expecting more giving the price. Need a but plate for the 20 oz tank.
    What others should know:The 20 oz tank is tall so you will absolutely need a riser for the scope. I thought I would try it without a riser but that was a mistake. Order it when you order the rifle.

    Things I liked:This gun rocks. I have been shooting at 35 yards and the groups are all 1/2". This gun is built really well. If you want a gun that is accurate and with little noise this is what you need.
    Things I would have changed:Nothing at all!!
    What others should know:Buy the CO2 butt stock. It makes a huge difference.
