| Images show right-hand stocks in walnut and beech, but this air rifle is available only with a left-hand walnut stock. The S410 is the 10-shot version of the S400 precharged pneumatic, but it also has the added benefit of adjustable power. You'll get about 60-80 shots on low power and 30-40 on high. The power adjustment wheel is located on the right side of the rifle. The low end delivers about 600 fps, the high about 920 fps (.22 cal.) The variable power makes this a much more useful gun for dispatching small and large pests at distances other guns can only hope to achieve! On the top end, you'll see remarkable energy in the range of 30-35 ft-lbs. This whopping power will serve you well when the time comes to quickly and humanely dispatch pests. Of course, power is nothing without accuracy. And, this gun has it in spades! It comes with a 12-groove Lothar Walther barrel, the cream of the crop when it comes to accurate barrels. If you do your part, the gun will do its part every time! And, the shrouded barrel helps deaden the sound so the report won't spook the very critters you're hunting. The two-stage adjustable trigger lets you customize things according to your own needs. It also has a quick-release charging connector. Manufactured in Air Arms' state-of-the-art facility in England, the S410 sets a new standard for accuracy, power and versatility in precharged pneumatics. There are no sights on the S410; remember to buy a scope & mounts! Reviews summary Air Arms S410 Sidelever, LH Walnut Stock
Things I liked: the AirArms S410 FAC. Is a superbly crafted rifle. Every component of this gun is flawless. from the ergonomic stock, to the rugged and reliable action, to the overall fit and finish. This gun is cocked using a side lever action which I find to be a improvement over the traditional bolt action. The outstanding accuracy obtained with this gun is really impressive. I am getting 1/2" fifty yard groups that opened up to 1" at 100 yards. It is a dream to shoot. The rifle is spitting out pellets at a avg. velocities of 915 fps, using the JSB 18gr pellets packing a walloping 33ft/lbs. The shrouded barrel is very quiet. AA S410 FAC is one of the finest PCPs available superb accuracy excellent trigger and beautiful. Things I would have changed:can’t find anything lacking or wanting for improvement with this gun. What others should know:Buy a extra magazine and lots of pellets you will shot through them faster then you think. Comments
This is comprised almost entirely of quotes from Jim Chapman's (The American Airgun Hunter) review. Things I liked:I have been putting off this review along with several others for too long, as I have had too many guns to write reviews on recently. This however, is probably the most important of my collection, and deserves the time to review. Other owners should consider this as it is vital to "potential" buyers of this gun for us to express or opinions on this incredible rifle! I opted for the S410 Sidelever .22. Like my 2 other Air Arms guns, the fit and finish on this gun are EXCEPTIONAL! Visually, this gun is stunning. It looks like a true .22 rimfire rifle. Upon receiver this gun I chose the Leapers 8-32x56 AO IR scope. I bought the best scope I could afford for this rifle, considering at the time it was the most expensive rifle I owned. I am very happy with the Leapers scope on this gun. It is a great combination. The initial inspection of course was typical Air Arms, and flawless! I zero'd in my scope in my backyard at 25 yards, and literally took less than 10 shots to achieve. This gun is simply incredible to shoot. It is so comfortable and light, I think this is one of the rare higher end rifles than even a beginner can get used very quickly! The clip slides in effortlessly. The cocking arms indexes and loads the next pellet with such ease, it is truly amazing, and I had to make sure I indeed load a pellet into the breech the first few times. I couldn't believe the first few shots, there is NO recoil, and the sound virtually silent. It's more like a puff than a bang.... Things I would have changed:The only thing I could possibly think of is a little bit shorter barrel. But, that is just nit picking, because you can just buy the carbine version if you want shorter.... What others should know:This is definitely not for everyone financially, but for those that are on the fence and are considering this, but are having a hard time justifying the price, STOP! Buy this gun! Once you own it, you will be proud you own it, and never look back at the price paid again. You will love to show this to family and friends and let them shoot it. It is one of those purchases you can enjoy anytime. It is so much fun to bring out on a nice sunny day and set up a bench outside with some cold drinks and shoot all day. I find people wanting to shoot this more and more once you put it in their hands one time. This is the toy that people ask you to bring out when visiting. It has surprising power, number of shots, and accuracy is incredible. Like others have said concerning particular guns, this is one that will probably outshoot me for a long time to come. You can learn a lot from a gun like this, with potential to make you a better shooter for a lifetime. Buy this, enjoy, share it with people you enjoy being around, invite your neighbor over to shoot it. This is the gun that inspires people to want to get into arigunning over again or for the first time. You will definitely recruit new users into this awesome hobby with this gun, and bring family and friends closer. However, you will NEVER want to lend it out. It becomes part of your personality, that you just can't part with. Save up if you have to. Build a nice backyard, "safe" range, stock up on pellets and targets geoff538@msn.com

Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:The power adjustment on this gun is very useful. Not only does it give you a range from 14 to 36 ft lbs, which takes you from backyard plinking up to small game hunting at the twist of a dial, but once you do some chrony testing it is possible to get some really long shot strings at level well above that of a magnum spinger (25 or so ft lbs) by starting at half power and adjusting upward at predetermined points. Also, JSB heavies are the perfect fodder for this gun. Heavy enough to withstand some wind and light without drifting but light enough to easlity nail targets accurately out to 110 yards and beyond.
