UTG Full Metal Model 4 Commando AEG Airsoft Rifle

Hey PyramydAir Shoppers - this is Carp from CQB Radio and I wanted to tell you about my UTG M4 Commando. This is a very solid AEG. UTG actually uses some parts that are exact replicas of real steel parts. There's no wobble in it and the front grip for battery storage is a great idea (almost no other AEGs have internal front battery storage with a RIS). TONS of accessories come with the gun, and a lot of little details make this thing really nice to use (very nice pistol grip, removable rear sight, nice rubber cover plate for the stock, and more).

Not much. If UTG included a tight-bore barrel with the package, it'd be even more impressive.

If you want a unique AEG with a lot of rail space this ia a great option.

The heft of this gun is just like that of the real gun! This is because it's made with 90% real steel parts!!

Be careful not to lose the screws on the battery compartment, I just put a little strip of electrical tape on them to keep them from falling out.

The durable construction is great for upgrades and realistic feel. Good accuracy, easy to mount a red dot sight. Overall. a great weapon in the game of airsoft.

I would change the hi-cap magazine, when there is 20 bbs left i doesnt shoot them, a big problem with hi cap magaizines

The crew i play with wont let me use it because its too good, Lets put it this way, i was able to take out a team of 7 all to myself. and get the flag, this gun IS monster. Great for the price. BUT, i would recommend getting at least 2 more magazines for airsoft skirmishes because you go out QUICKLY. lol

Fun to shoot and really accurate, and it really hurts. The rails make it fun for tons of upgrades. Good for close quarters and has that nice realistic feeling.

If you shoot constatnly on full auto the bbs jam and just fall out when you pull the clip out. dont hold the trigger in for more than 4 seconds. Other than that, besides the charge time is hefty. good gun for the price.

Put a black flash hider on this gun, and it's real. No joke. It is otherwise completely impossible for someone other than an expert to tell that this is an airsoft gun just by looks. Pick it up, and you'll feel the immense heft the gun boldly holds. Everything metal on a real M4A1 is metal on this one. UTG, for those of you who don't know, produces real steal parts for actual guns, and used them on this, their first real competition-class gun.

360 FPS is a nice, but not capable of much firepower in an actual airsoft skirmish. 400-450 is more realistic. I upgraded the gun as well. I traded firepower for rate of fire, as I used an upgraded Systema Turbo Motor and 9.6v 2,400 mAh battery (doesn't fit in the internal holder, I have an external holder) It now spits bullets out at an amazing speed, completely filling targets full of holes in seconds. My first word was holy. I think you can guess the next one.

If you're a serious airsoft player, and want a full metal beauty, don't buy a conversion kit for other plastic $400-600 guns, costing another $200 (and all the risk of buying wrong parts, breaking your gun during installation, etc.), get this gun and you will have a completely Tokyo Marui upgradeable beast in your arms for $300. Play nice.

The all metal body, barrel, and more on this gun makes it very realistic, and gives it a hefty feel. Accurate, fast, and a great addition to any arsenal. It's also very flexible, able to be used as a sniper rifle, or support gun, or a (rather large) CQB weapon. It has so many rails that you won't know what to put on all of them! It also has a solid sound when firing.

This is a LOT of money to lay down for an airsoft gun, but the weapon's quality and metal composition is almost worth it. I would have appreciated a second 300 round magazine like UTG's other weapons, but it shouldn't be hard to find and purchase another one.

The metal battery compartment under the gun doesn't leave much space for wires, and the metal edges can VERY EASILY strip or cut one of them, so always make sure they are tucked safely next to the battery. Use electrical tape if you made a small cut on a wire. I recommend a red dot sight for it. Calibrating one is easy on this gun, because you can just line it up with the front iron sight.
