From the all-weather synthetic stock to the bull barrel, these rifles are bound to please any shooter who aims to take game. For more precise shooting and to get the most accuracy from the gun, the Big Cat 1200/1250 comes with a 4x32 scope and mount. The Monte Carlo buttstock has a raised cheekpiece on each side, making this gun ideal for right- or left-handed shooters. It also has the Shock Wave Absorber to reduce felt recoil. Shoot either lead pellets or PBA ammo to attain your hunting goals. Of course, you don't have to hunt with 1200/1250. These are fun plinkers and will give you hours of shooting pleasure. Your Gamo Big Cat 1200 or 1250 may come with a 1-piece mount or a 2-piece mount. Gamo uses them interchangeably. Both types will securely hold your scope in place. The Big Cat 1200 delivers 1200 fps with PBA (lead-free) ammo and 1000 fps with lead pellets. The Big Cat 1250 delivers 1250 fps with PBA ammo and 1000 fps with lead pellets. Things I liked:I just got my new big cat which is replacing my old one. It's better than before. it has quite a kick to it, relatively easy to cock, qand I found the trigger to be decent. Things I would have changed:I'm not a fan of these scopes. Until I can get something else it will do though. What others should know:This thing is a super value with a ton of power for a tiny price. You can't go wrong with a big cat on your side. Things I liked:Super lightweight, super easy cocking effort. Big power, great groups for a springer.
