Things I liked: P-23 pistol is nice. It is not as accurate as I expected but it is nice. I had some problem with laser sight alignment. I cannot get it quit right. I need to go a bit higher, however Elevation is at its maximum. The heft and balance are nice with an all metal "slide" and a comfortable grip. The accuracy can improve if the rear sight could be secure tightly. If you try to tighten the rear sight it would simply jump out! It has a smooth trigger with a hammer that works. Trigger pull is a bit hard however it get much better after using it for several days. Loading BBs is different & interesting. I just wish that you could load more than one pellet. But this is a Single Shooter Pellet pistol. BBs can be loaded between 10 to 12 depending on your BBs. I used three different BBs (aside from what came with the gun) and they all worked fine. The pistol kit comes with a plastic carrying case, laser, a tin of lead balls (that looks like coil & it would make your finger black!), and one CO2.
Things I would have changed: If they can add cocking feature to this pistol like Walthers PPK Pistol, it would be great. The rear sight must definitely be change to something more secure. I would have make laser sight installation in such a way that no tool be necessary.
What others should know: If you purchase the kit instead of stand alone pistol, you will have everything you need to get started.
Things I liked: When you first open the case you'll be impressed at the realism of this P-23 pistol. Fit and finish are superb. The heft and balance are nice with an all metal "slide" and a comfortable grip. The accuracy is better than I expected once I adjusted the rear sight, and the rifled barrel definitely makes a difference. Having sighted-in the attached laser I can hit whatever I want at 30+ feet. A smooth trigger with a hammer that works. Like any other gun, you need to take a few shots to get used to the trigger pull. Loading 10 to 12 BBs is fast and requires no magazine. (Use Gamo Lead Balls only.) If you want to shoot pellets it's a single shooter - A good extra feature. At 400 fps I have a varmint killing machine. The pistol kit comes with a plastc carrying case, laser, a tin of lead balls, and one CO2. Everything you need to get started.
Things I would have changed: Nuthin' : Has just about all the features I was looking for in a good deal.
What others should know: A sweet air pistol : You won't be disappointed...
