The 125 model has Hatsan's proprietary Quattro trigger, which has superior adjustability and a crisp release. Ideal for plinking, shooting spinners, popping paper targets and dispatching small rodents at close distances.

Things I liked: Clean smooth trigger, compared to some others I have shot. Scope mount is solid. Straight shooter once the hold is figured out, not just artillery hold Im talking pressure against shoulder, grip pressure all that.Nice looking gun. Holds well, and is fast shooter.

Things I would have changed: Has a tuning fork ring that is annoying when fired. The cocking arm comes out of the forearm when cocking . Will have to get used to that one.

What others should know: Its loud shooting next to a umarex octane in same caliber. The sniper 125 may be better option for a hunter.

Things I liked: The gun is very well designed and built. The break barrel hinge is very strong as is everything else on the basic gun. The cheek rest is a nice feature. I added lock tight to the two screws which secure the placement of the rest after one fell out while I was shooting. The gun shoots accurately. I have my scope sighted in at 40 yards and am getting 1 inch groupings using a upgraded bipod and gun rest bags. I have to lean the gun against fixed objects while shooting in the standing position or I'm all over the place. Have put about 300 pellets through the gun.

Things I would have changed: Nothing

What others should know: I upgraded to a Leapers UTG 3-9x40 AO Rifle Scope and a UTG Low-Profile Dragon Claw Clamp-on Barrel Bipod. Also went with a Bkl 4" scope mount, bubble level and a Hawke Sport Optics Tactical Combo Kit. I am happy with the upgrades. Have found the new bipod through the gun's balance off when left on while shooting from the standing position. I use rubber electricians tape to protect the barrel from being scratched at the clamp on point.

  • Mike Ogden from usa asked:

In the specs it now states 36lb cocking effort, is that from the NPSS days or have they changed the vortex piston because i have a black sniper vortex from 2015 and the cocking effort is more like 45lb so is it a new model or old numbers?

    • Mike Ogden from usa asked:

I would like to know the total number of scope rail slots & the maximum dist between them?

      • Richelle from USA:

There are 5 rails slots and the distance between them is 19mm.

    • CharlesJ from USA asked:

whats the deal with the upgraded piston seal this gun is not bad to blow these seals are they?? I have wanted a hatsan npss for a while in .22 cal but would like to know answer for this

      • Stanley from USA:

My hatsan 125 sniper was said to have a piston seal that has failed with less than 100 rounds on it. Sent back to hatsan for an unrelated problem and was told it had failed so they replaced it.

      • Cory from USA:

The piston seal should not fail prematurely, they seem to be doing well.
