Clean smooth trigger, compared to some others I have shot. Scope mount is solid. Straight shooter once the hold is figured out, not just artillery hold Im talking pressure against shoulder, grip pressure all that.Nice looking gun. Holds well, and is fast shooter.
Things I would have changed:Has a tuning fork ring that is annoying when fired. The cocking arm comes out of the forearm when cocking . Will have to get used to that one.
What others should know:Its loud shooting next to a umarex octane in same caliber. The sniper 125 may be better option for a hunter.

The gun is very well designed and built. The break barrel hinge is very strong as is everything else on the basic gun. The cheek rest is a nice feature. I added lock tight to the two screws which secure the placement of the rest after one fell out while I was shooting. The gun shoots accurately. I have my scope sighted in at 40 yards and am getting 1 inch groupings using a upgraded bipod and gun rest bags. I have to lean the gun against fixed objects while shooting in the standing position or I'm all over the place. Have put about 300 pellets through the gun.
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:I upgraded to a Leapers UTG 3-9x40 AO Rifle Scope and a UTG Low-Profile Dragon Claw Clamp-on Barrel Bipod. Also went with a Bkl 4" scope mount, bubble level and a Hawke Sport Optics Tactical Combo Kit. I am happy with the upgrades. Have found the new bipod through the gun's balance off when left on while shooting from the standing position. I use rubber electricians tape to protect the barrel from being scratched at the clamp on point.

It says the silencer is "fixed". Does that also mean it is impossible to open up the silencer to remove/clean the baffles (ARE there baffles in it?), or to recrown the muzzle if needed?
The suppressor can not be removed by the owner . I had to send my hatsan 125 sniper in for repair because one or two of the baffles came loose and interfered with the pellet leaving the barrel throwing any kind accuracy way off. They repaired it and sent it back , so far so good. Im sure it takes a special tool or tools do the job as well as knowledge. Im not understanding the reason for recrowning the muzzle on a pellet gun?

Same as above.
I too expected a 36lb cocking effort and after a few tries had to check it out, nope, more like 48lbs, a far cry from 36lbs. Had I known that I would not have bought my Sniper. I'm 63 yrs old and after about 15 times I was ready for oxygen and put a call into the cardiologist., ok just kidding there, but for me it was way too much and now I can't get rid of it, so it sits in the box. I guess I'll try to trade for a less cocking effort air rifle.
Yes i have one and know what your talking about.Cocking effort is at least 45 to 50 pounds. This rifle is not something you can't shoot at cans all day it is a true hunting rifle.
