An excellent rifle for hunting or plinking, the Hatsan BT65 SB Elite delivers significant knockdown power no matter which caliber you choose. If you plan to hunt for medium-size game such as beavers, woodchucks, muskrats or nutria, choose the .22 or .25 caliber.

Things I liked: Feel, Quality, Accuracy!

Things I would have changed: Are you kidding me? This thing is as close to perfect as it can get!

What others should know: This is my first PCP, first Hatsan and first .25 cal pellet rifle. I'm 49 and have stuck to pumpers (and a very few springers) my whole life, .22 mainly. I always thought the PCP option was silly and a waste of time just to get ready to even shoot the thing. After all, with a pumper you had full control of power and the speed of just a few pumps to get ready for a shot, why waste the time to pump up a PCP for just a few shots, then spend another 5-10 mins repumping it? Well... as I have now found out, if you want critter control, very quick follow-up shots, PCP is the ONLY way to go. By the gods this rifle is fantastic! Hard hitting and the heavy .25 cal pellet crosses the chrony at an average of 1100 f.p.s.! I get 27 shots (3 full mags) before the f.p.s. drops to around 900. So should you wait till mid-life to try one of these things out? I wouldn't if given a redo! Fun to shoot, hard hitting and accurate, what more do you want? Hatsan for life now!

Things I liked: This gun is one of the most powerful airguns out of bix that i have seen. It is very accurate. I can shoot Keurig empty K-cups at 75 yards all day long. This would make an amazing long range hunting gun. I have not took it hunting yet but i plan on it soon. I think this would also make an excellent predator hunting gun also. I got this for my fourteen year old, he can carry it around really good. Rhe gun is pretty heavy though

Things I would have changed: The bolt is pretty stiff; but im fine with it. It is preetty heavy but im fine with it

What others should know: This gun is VERY powerful in all calibers specifically .25. I have the utg 4-16-44 swat scope and i had ti get new rings because my POI was low and the turret was maxed out. Instead of shimming your scope with alluminum cans you should try using electrical tape

  • Mark from USA asked:

Is there a QE version of the elite?

    • Bailey from USA asked:

I recently bought this gun. I have just been able to start shooting it. I have noticed that it can not hold a zero. I can spend five minutes zeroing it at 100yds and then I will come back later to shoot and not even hit the target. Why won't it hold a zero. Ps I have a utg 4-16 sway scope and the back scope ring is shimmed with two strips of electrical tape.. This is getting very frustrating

      • Richard from USA:

check to see if screws are loose on scope rail

      • Vegas052 from USA:

maybe is your scope try to shoot the rifle with out the scope using the fiber optic sight and if you still experience the problem contact Hatsan USA or Rick Eutsler at Airgunwed.com

    • Daniel from USA asked:

      can they make a suppressor

      • Vegas052 from USA:

Suppressor is a grey area in the states but you can try TKO Muzzle brake but also you can get the Quite energy barrel installed ask Rick Eutsler he can do that and any other job done Airgunwed.com
