Things I liked:German quality. Beautifully fit and finished wood and steel. Power, and accurate. Great shooter. Things I would have changed:I would own more of them What others should know:This is a very high quality air rifle. It has better fit and finish than the majority of firearms. If you're expecting this to have the same quality fit, finish, engineering, craftmanship, trigger, and firing cycle as a Spanish Gamo or Chinese air gun, you WILL be very pleasantly surprised by how much better this gun is. Things I liked:The weight and balance are perfect for off-hand shooting. The fiber optic sights are bright and easy to see, and the Rekord trigger is a joy to use. The rifle came wrapped in a heavy plastic bag inside the cardboard box, so it was free of any cardboard dust and/or rubbing damage. Things I would have changed:Not a thing. What others should know:I was a bit hesitant about buying this gun because of the listed 40lbs cocking effort. I am glad that did not stop me, because this rifle cocks very smoothly without undue effort. I have an underlever rifle that is listed at 35lbs of cocking effort, and it more difficult to cock than the HW95. Comments
Maybe some people rather have fiber optic sights than steel. they are a lot easier to see in low light.
I have the HW95 in .20 cal, and it does not have fiber optic sights. Front and rear sights are steel. I would not have bought the rifle if it had fiber optic sights. Show Other ReviewsCreate an online review and share your thoughts with other customers
