The review made me put in a rating, although I can't actually shoot them! I suspect they might be worthy of a better rating, but I can't say "Awesome", just "Pretty cool" because they look it.

With the polymer tip these pack a real punch, really penetrate, they have a superior ballistic aerodynamic shape which gives this pellet superior performance. The overall quality of these pellets is first rate. This is the only pellet I shoot. I use it for target shooting, small game hunting, pest control. I have yet to run across a bad pellet. Things I would have changed:nothing don't mess with perfection. What others should know:I have a Crosman factory custom shop built 2400kt Co2, 12 gram cartridge, powered carbine. Crosman rates this carbine at 600 fps muzzle velocity. This is a .22 caliber, 24 inch barrel. With the polymags I get outstanding accuracy, target penetration. If anyone is wondering if 600fps velocity is enough for small game hunting, pest control I can tell you that with these pellets, and in this caliber yes it is! I live on a lake that has some large snapping turtles and this gun with this ammo takes them out. Having polymer tips gives this ammo outstanding performance. Polymers are the way of the future, we see it more everyday in firearms, cars, products we use everyday. I highly recommend these.

If your shooting high power PCPs take them tips off you will be amazed of the perfect expasion you get and better accuracy past 40yards.If you own a condor buy a moderator at www.airhog.com it will silence it to a whisper useing 21gr. on up.

If you go hunting, this is what you want: deadly combination of lead (mushroom) and plastic tip (for penetration and bone crushing). Things I would have changed:I would appreciate a lower price. But it is still worth the money. What others should know:sometimes plastic tip falls out. I would recommend this product for hunting. For target shooting the plastic tip is a bit messy (cleaning up).

My kill ratio is better with all lead. rws super points and rws super holllow points have both been more effective for me. They are 77 fps slower than rws super hollow points out of my rws 350 magnum. They did group good out of both my .22's but I don't see any reason to switch from a pellet that flys consistant. I'm going to shoot them a little more and keep a few on hand for comparing with other rounds. If you haven't tryed these pellets your really not missing much. Maybe they are more efective out of a slower gun. ?? Or maybe out of a faster gun? Good luck

I am getting about 3 to 4" groups or more at around 50 yards, it gets worse from there on out further. I can switch back to Beeman Kodiak extra heavy 21.10gr and they are way more accurate in the guns I have with groups of around 1 to 1 1/2" at 50 yards, and that is shooting from hand not bench. I bought 4 tins, and have shot over a tin and half now and still can't get anything really tight or accurate.
I was getting an average of 773fps on the Benjamin discovery .22 and 666fps on the beeman rs2 .22 according to the chrony. Those are pretty good numbers. Which is 21.23FT/LB and 15.76FT/LB respectively. Things I would have changed:I can't think of anything to change, they look good etc.. but for the money I thought they would be accurate in my .22 guns and they are not. So if there is a way to make them more accurate in my guns I would change that. What others should know:I bought these based on all the reviews and figured they looked "cool" but they really under perform in my two cheaper Benjamin discovery .22 and beeman RS2 in .22 when compared to a cheaper beeman kodiak extra heavy 21.10gr pellets.

The softer the pellet, the more pronounced the deformation,,"The Peak" point's, and Daisy Field Point's were the worst, while Crosman, and H&N came out on Top. Some of the cones fall of (2 or 3 a tin) What others should know:I have been able to push these 1050 fps in my condor. at these speeds, I get 1-1.25 inch groups at 50 yards. this is acceptable because of the amount of energy that dumps into the target. Nice pop and sends the sucker right to the ground.

What others should know:The PolyMag is the pellet I grab for now for hunting purposes. They're just devastating. Most pellets won't drop a squirrel or a rabbit on the first hit and these certainly do. It says it on the lid and is quite appropriate: "You don't PLAY with these". They're not kidding. Good weight, above average uniformity, and most of all KILL POWER!

What others should know:I experimented with a number of pellets, in terms of penetrating power. Perhaps things would have been different had I used some kind of ballistic gel or clay. What I did was fire at some pine planks and note distance of penetration. I also shot into some books and noted how many pages were penetrated. For these tests, I was using a spring-loaded pistol (Weihrauch HW45). Frankly, I didn't notice any difference between these and
Beeman Silver Stings or even the Beeman Silver Aces. It's possible that differences would be noted if I were shooting into something softer.

Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:Pellets are expensive but the key word here is "HUNTING". All hunting specific ammo is usually more for hunting than plinking and therefore more EXPENSIVE. Its hard to put Cutting edge technology, accuracy, and premium hunting pellets in the same sentence with the word CHEAP. Also, these pellets don't perform well in all airguns which should be expected. But if you have one gun they are accurate in then they will make excellent hunting fodder.

A few of the pellets in the tin I bought were devoid of the ballistic tips which I found loose on the bottom of the container. I randomly checked several other pellets though and the tips were securely attached. What others should know:Really just designed for hunting so one tin should last quite a while. Obviously too expensive and specialized for plinking.
A really neat pellet though. Everyone should at least try them out.

Read MoreThings I liked:It's a proper cost-to-amount for target shooting, pest management (within the realm of 30 yards, or 90 feet), and excellent infliction of penetration damages to target areas. Things I would have changed:Increase the amount of pellet per tin to 500 at least, and drop the price per pellet by $0.01 or $0.02, replace the tin with cheap-hard plastic container with screw top (which is 1/4 the price of the tin itself but with stronger structure to support the pellet during shipping), and increase the central tip by 0.5mm with a slightly wider filling conical body for an increase of aerodynamic by 45% (I'm a scientist, but work quite closely with engineers on doing both theoretical and live simulations of the pellets) What others should know:The pellet is excellent in knocking targets in a 0.05" or hole-in-hole grouping at 20 yards (60 feet), using the Benjamin Sheridan Super Streak 0.22 caliber. Rather than the 1100fps claimed velocity, it averages around 930fps during moderate humid days, to 1020fps during perfect conditions (with very light wind). We use serveral type of chronos, to test both the pellets and the gun, which includes the Beeman Crow Magnum (with the best grouping of 0.2"), and the Beeman Kodiak (with a 0.55" grouping).
Add a bit of wind (5 to 8 mph), extend the range out to 30 yards (90 feet), and the accuracy goes up to a grouping of 2", with the velocity drastically reduces from 930-1020fps to 700-810fps.
Extend the range up to 40 yards (120 feet), and you get a 4" grouping, in the same condition. Anything beyond 40 yards, good luck in hitting your target no matter how much compensation you do.
People always talk about expansion. We use the micrometer to test for the expanded pellet after shooting, both on hard surfaces such as wood, to soft target such as the dead pigeons and sparrows. The total expansion is no more than 5% in humid condition, and 18% in perfect conditions. But the skirt is a different story. The skirt expands beyond 100% after impacting into the birds' soft bodies. This may be due to the tremendous pressure exerted by the piston from the gun. Comparing to most guns, which exert enough forces to propel the pellet up to 600 fps, the Super Streak exerts the pellet to the speed of 1000 fps, close to twice the pressure level. Because of this, the resulting damages are unforgiving. []

Things I would have changed:Price is not a concern with these. They do their job as a hunting only pellet. However, I would change the build of the pellet. I found many skirts to be dinged or warped. Not good; you need to be able to have the confidence of consistency. I also would change the length. A half a millimeter would allow them to fit smoother into my 850. JSB research should look into making them a hair shorter, if they haven't already. What others should know:Expensive but worth it. I tried other pellets on these birds but the nice groups and great stopping power make this the best choice on pests. If you have pests, forget the price.
They barely fit my 850. I can only fit one per magazine and I have to be careful when racking the bolt. I keep several mags in my pocket with one pellet in each. There is more time between follow up shots but I find I don't need too many of those.

At 20yards we hit sparrows with our shots 70% of the time. Doves and crows do not have a chance inside 45 yards. We have used a rangefinder and can hit often at 60 yards but energy is not there to depredate effectively. Worth the money to rid varmints, better to use something cheaper to plink.
