Seems to be well made. Rod swivels easily in handle.
Things I would have changed:Is a little pricey for the item.

This product is very nice. The pivoting handel allows for easy cleaning and it accepts other brands of jigs and cleaning tips easily (make sure they are the same thread). Shaft is nylon coated to prevent scratching.
Things I would have changed:I would make the tool about 3 to 4 inches longer so it fits throught a rifle's barrel. The tool worked well but was a little short for my Beeman pellet gun.
What others should know:Pistols and short barrel rifles will have 0 problems with this tool. If you have a longer barrel this tool works well but is a little short.

This is the perfect rod size for cleaning .177 air and BB pistols and turns out to be really good for cleaning .22 rimfire pistols too.
Things I would have changed:A "T" handle rather than the handle it currently has might be a bit easier on older hands but this is no big deal.
What others should know:The included jag leaves the patch inside the receiver when you withdraw the rod. For a pistol like the Beretta PX4 Storm Air Pistol which doesn't have much room in the "ejector port", substitute the Loop for .177 instead of the jag.

Great quailty as are all Dewey prducts I use. Even comes with a jag so you don't have to purchase it seperate.

Dewey rods are simply the best. The teflon coationg protects the barrel lands from metal to metal abrasions.

Excellent cleaning rod. Much better than a two piece cleaning rod. The covering keeps the metal part of the rod from touching the inside of the bore.
Things I would have changed:The price. i have used dewey rods for many years and feel they are the best, but they are expensive.
What others should know:The rods last for ever.

I love this thing! 11" is the perfect length for my Crosman 2300KT with 10.1" barrel. I will never go back to using the junky multi-section rods after using this puppy. I highly prefer the screw driver type handle compared to the more common wing type.
Things I would have changed:Make them available for free via some government program. Medicare would be good, as this device improves my health via stress reduction while cleaning my guns, and other ways that are yet to be discovered!
What others should know:Call me a clumsy lumberjack oaf if you will, because I have broken every .177 sectioned rod type cleaner I have ever owned. This device is so much stronger that even a self-proclaimed clumsy lumberjack oaf like me can't possibly break it! If you are sick of throwing your money away on wimpy junk cleaners that break on the first use, then bite the bullet, spend the bucks, and buy this. You will thank yourself in the long run.
