Things I liked:

Easy to setup, clean simple design, and a really good value for the $$. A+

Things I would have changed:

Nothing - its fine as is, good instructions as well.

What others should know:

Used this to replace the mount that came with an RWS-52, from Germany. The German mount was convoluted, difficult to setup, easily foiled during this process rendering it usless. The Gamo worked, straight out of the box, and allowed us to site in the rifle with ease. Buy this with confidence. Toss the OEM German mount out, before you get started with an RWS and buy this instead. You'll save yourself a ton of time.

Things I liked:

Price point is excellent. 4 cap screws per scope cap. Built in scope stop for those that need them. A simple secure 1 piece mount that works at a price that anybody can afford.

Things I would have changed:

An additional dovetail clamp screw- for a total of 4) would make this a no brainer choice for nearly any airgun application. This isn't just Gamo's issue, but any product that uses an end user adjustable screw should really consider using the Best grade fastening hardware. Cheaping out here only causes the consumer headaches for the penny or two per unit a manufacturer saves.

What others should know:

The "tape" that lines the rings may make the scope tube turn if not incrementally tightened down. A great budget choice for non drooped airgun application!

    Things I liked:

Easy to install. Locks up very tight on the dovetail. No discernable movement after 100 shots

    Things I would have changed:

The rear ring should be height adjustable, but a shim works just fine.

    Things I liked:

solid well built, like the 4 screw scope rings, nice for a 1 piece mount, stop pin is large enough to stop scope creep for even the most powerful springers.mounted mine on a gamo big cat .177 cal.completely stopped scope creep, after eating other mounts i've tried.

    Things I would have changed:

maybe a adjustable mount base, depending on the scope parallax, limited movement for this adjustment.

    What others should know:

didn't know what gamo had in mind when i got it,scope rings were shimmed with black tape i mounted it as is though and have had no problems out of it and i'm on 150+ shots and am still right on target, haven't had to touch scope adjustments, great mount for springers with stop pin holes. Don't forget your locktite preferably blue.

    Things I liked:

Clean lines. Four screws on each ring. Tape cushion inside the rings. Solid base. Reciever pin. VERY nice scope mount for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish this base had more screws because the reciever on my rifle does not have a scope pin hole. Every time I shot the gun the mount would creep backward. Three screws in the base are not enough to hold the base steady on an airgun without the reciever pin.

    What others should know:

If your reciever has a pin hole, this is definitely the scope mount that you should get. If your gun does not have a pin hole for the scope mount then get a different mount.

    compact,well designed, positive attachment, price

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing!

    What others should know:

I have this mount on a Norica Storm, and after about 100 pellets, has not come loose. This gun is a powerhouse, and destroyed a non-airgun scope, with Burris mounts, after 500 shots! That was my fault, but had to try!

    Things I liked:

Quality, cost effective product that will stop scope shift and creep on magnum powered air rifles. The base has a pin which screws down into the hole at the aft end of the dove tail rail of most air rifles, while the three clamping screws hold the unit on the rail securely, so there is no movement from recoil. Torque on the clamping base screws is thirty inch pounds per screw. Each scope ring has four screws, torqued down to fifteen inch pounds per screw. I have used this mount on several high powered Springers and I've had no scope movement.

    Things I would have changed:

It's a simple device that does what it is designed to do, it looks good as well, and it is priced right. I don't know what could be done to improve upon its design, so I don't have any recomendations to change anything about it.

    What others should know:

This unit, the medium profile unit in stock at Pyramyd Air, accomodates scopes with an objective lens up to about forty, perhaps forty four, millimeters in diameter. I tried a fifty millimeter Leapers on it, but the mount wasn't high enough for the fifty to clear the barrel, so I had to order the high profile unit directly from Gamo USA. Perhaps Pyramid Air will make the high profile unit available as well. There is no 'Barrel Droop' compensation designed into this unit, so if you want to mount this on a European gun with 'Barrel Droop', you might want to use a mount that has the necessary compensation, ie. the Diana/ RWS Lockdown Mount , or the Leapers/ UTG unit which compensates for droop, and also converts the dovetail rail to a Weaver/ Picatinny configuration for use with Weaver style rings. These units are strong and effective, and I've had success with them on my own rilfes.

solves the problem of scopes coming loose on magnum powered rifles even stops the scope backing up on the walther falcon hunter and that is saying something

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

Nice, solid one piece, and four screws on top of each ring

    Things I would have changed:

one thing only, put an extra scerw on bottom, not that is needed but it would give it an even stronger grip,

    What others should know:

This mount is a very good value for your money it works fine on any medium power springer or any Gamo rifle, you do not need to spend anymore $$ to get a nice solid mount , this one is all you need .
