It's pretty much as advertised. I've got two. Dot can be seen in bright daylight, on the shady side of target @ 7 yd, and into a dark room @ 20 yd. it is visable @ dusk @ 120 yd, I haven't tried longer distance. It seems to hold zero after shooting. I've treated it gently. Dot is bright inside, with lights on & windows open @ daylight, I believe the 50 yds. advertised
Things I would have changed:For the money, nothing.
What others should know:Be sure to line up the top screw with the front sight. I have one mounted on top of the barrel & @ 1.75" above center line. It's sighted in @ 10 yd, so if I put the barrel against the target & the dot on the bulls eye, i'll punch a hole @ 1.75" low & @ 20yd, probably 1.75" high. The other laser is on a tri-mount @ 1.5" right & 1" above, It's zero is 120 yd. knowing the closer I get , the more low & left it will hit.

Well made, holds zero well. Choice of pressure switch or button switch. Comes with Weaver and rimfire mounts so it can be put on any gun.

What others should know:I put this on a Steel Storm, and it's the perfect companion. I mounted it on the underneath rail and have it zeroed at about 20 yards. Now that it's zeroed and the gun is settling down, all I have to do is illuminate the target and it's toast. If you're looking to improve target acquisition and accuracy with your Steel Storm, I highly recommend this laser. One thing to remember - if you mount this laser under the gun, sighting adjustments will be backwards from what they are in the manual. Also, the projectile will be dropping toward the line of the laser, not rising to meet it, and this must be kept in mind with adjusting POI. Also, just a personal preference - I use the button switch instead of the pressure one. I don't care for the cable hanging down, plus when you put pressure on the remote switch you're affecting your grip on the weapon. I just select the fire mode, turn on the laser, line up my shot, click off the safety, and send the rounds downrange. Makes for awesome hip shots!

Very small, much smaller than most other laser for rifle. It Works.
Things I would have changed:Mounts: Would be better if they provide extra adapter mount for .30mm / 1 inch scope. Had to purchase separately. No room left on gun rail with scope, to attach laser with stock mounts.
What others should know:This laser is really small in size. Very good size if you are trying to keep bulk down on your rifle. Will work good for me. I have a good size scope on my rifle. So I will hardly notice the small laser when mounted. (mounter on Gamo 1200, 1in Diameter scope)
