Great weight and really sharp look and feel. I like the addition of the safety. However, the switch for the assisted open is extremely hard to push. My wife can’t even use this knife because she almost needs two hands to get it open. I’m hoping it’s just something that needs to be worked in a bit. Aside from the strength needed to open it, I love the look and for someone like me with large hands, it’s a great fit.

The assist mechanism jams once in a while. Is there a fix for this?

Looks like it's nice but then it doesn't open and even the safety red dot looks like it was painted by shaky pudding hands.

Great knife at a great price! Just what I have been looking for.

The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the knife has a really tough spring assist. As a stronger man I can flip it open but with much pressure. My wife is petite and could not without almost dropping the knife. But the knife is clearly well made and sturdy, and even has a safety like a firearm.

This knife feels rock solid! It's heavier than it looks, but the weight is more satisfying than cumbersome. The safety lock is a bit tough to operate one-handed, but I'm sure it'll loosen up a bit with some use and wear. Ergonomics could be better, but you won't lose your grip on this knife. Blade was nice and sharp when I received my knife - time will tell how often it needs to be sharpened. The finish looks and feels good - inspires confidence it'll hold up against harsh conditions.

Great size (is large) but not to cumbersome to EDC. I love the safety style lockout and maybe best of all this knife has a great heavier weight (in a good way) The tolerances are very good too

This is a solid knife. Far more valuable than the price tag. Been using it since it arrived and it hasn't disappointed. Highly recommend it.

Solid construction, great price, great knife to carry on duty.

The blade is difficult to open one handed makes you want to use your opposite hand.The handle has a bulky feeling and not contoured enough to fit well in hand.

This is a good solid EDC knife. A "trite" heavy...but solid. Interesting blade locking lever. Prevents it from opening in your pants and "stabbing you ". Good price for a good piece of equipment. Be sure to oil it B4 using...loosens up & smooths out the action a bit.

I find this knife extremely difficult to open and close. It is not at all what I expected, having owned many of their knives and others. I gave it away nearly immediately.

This knife is the toughest thing to open. I am unable to open it with one hand. Also once knife is open I cannot close it with one hand I have to push the metal piece on the inside to the side then the knife closes. The only reason I know how to do this is because I had to call Smith & Wesson customer service for assistance.

excellent heavy duty knife. second time ordering for a total 5 knives. one for each vehicle and extras shout out to Smith & Wesson Support Team member Kyle. great customer service. when 2nd order delivered package was damaged with no knives. even with my cell phone problems Kyle was patient and had replacement order to me within a few days.
