Things I liked:

Trigger, accuracy, stock, fit, finish, price, nice quality overall.

Things I would have changed:

I really like the QB rifles. Nothing to change here. It would be nice if they put a better quality 'O' ring on the CO2 cap.

What others should know:

My rifle had a lot of surface dirt (rust?) that needed to be wiped off. The exterior metal turned the cleaning cloth brown. The barrel also needed a thorough cleaning out of the box. That being said, this is a really nice rifle, especially for the price. It's my fifth QB and every one has been a winner. It's nice to have a thumbhole stock lighter than the wood version on this rifle. This is an all day shooter. By the way, mine is the .22, and it hits hard.

Things I liked:

After trying to get a 4$ replacement O ring on filler cap,for free, I couldn’t

What others should know:

There is a good chance that the O ring on filler cap will not hold your co2. Mine was dry rotted. Pyramid Air gave me a manufacturer link that dont Receive email. And I want to continue buying from Pyramid.

    Things I liked:

Awesome gun. Very accurate and easy to shot. What I mean is, length of pull, weight, and overall ease of operation make this a very likeable gun to shoot. Bolt would be hard to close for a smaller child but adults will have no problem. If you're thinking about just do it.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Pay the extra $10 for Pyramid staff to shoot and check function.

Good value for what you get, pretty accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

The bolt can be hard to close and I don't like the safety.

    What others should know:

I bought this for my kids and they can't close the bolt. The way the safety works a kid could easily pull the trigger trying to move it. I ended up giving the gun away.

    Things I liked:

I like using a CO2 rifle as a trainer for teenagers (as well as just having fun myself). The stock has a nice fit to it and the iron sights, though basic, do work. The trigger pull isnt bad with very little creep and a decent let off. What surprised me was the accuracy (after it was cleaned, see below). With a variety of pellets, it was not really fussy. But I did get the best groups with the AA diabolo field (8.4 grs) and the Winchester round nose (7.6gr.) and the Skenco new boy match dome (8.64 gr.) All three gave 3/8 inch groups at 10 meters). This was on a rest using a 4 X scope.

    Things I would have changed:

Change it to a single CO2 cartridge gun or sell an adapter that replaces the 2nd cartridge. As reported by others, the rifle was filthy with a really fouled barrel, bolt assembly and dirty seals. After two hours of cleaning and tightening all the screws, the gun started to cycle a lot better. While this is not a high dollar gun, the final inspections could be a lot better. Also a higher cheek piece would be helpful when using a scope.

    What others should know:

Be prepared to spend time cleaning the rifle as noted above. Also the safety was really stiff until oiled and cycled several times. All in all, a good value for the money

    Things I liked:

Great for poaching squirrels The squirrel population in my backyard has gone down a little bit Gun feels good in hand and works well for hunting squirrels at close range I would prefer the .22 caliber but the 177 worked pretty good for the squirrel that I killed Just open the window cock the gun and let her eat squirrel killing fun is at your hands

    Things I would have changed:

Make it a bit more powerful I wouldnt shoot squirrels at far range wouldnt kill A squirrel and I had had to shoot this Squirrel three times before the dumb thing died But nonetheless it did the job

    What others should know:

This gun is extremely accurate with a scope and with iron sites but I would recommend a scope if youre going to do squirrel killing but I would recommend this gun to anyone all around good gun

    Things I liked:

Exceptionally accurate, simple, very comfortable stock, light, either one or two cartridges may be loaded. It's nice to being able to load one full cartridge and one empty one if I only want to shoot 25 or 30 shots. At ten yards, it stacked 5 shots, center of a 1/4" bulls eye, one on top of the other for a 5 shot group of .20 inches. The trigger has a nice feel and is light. It loves H&N 8.4g Field Target Trophy in 4.5mm. I have not had a single flyer in the first tin of 500.

    Things I would have changed:

There is no gas discharge port, The only way to deplete the CO2 to take the pressure off the CO2 cap so the cap can be unscrewed to change the 12g cylinders is to dry fire until all the gas is gone. Having a discharge valve would be a great improvement. The open sights are 1950's crude, stamped steel and there is no windage adjustment and elevation adjustment is accomplished with a notched ramp, which is also only minimally precise. Thats fine for shooting cans, but inadequate for precise target shooting. Actually though, the accuracy is so good that not installing a good scope on it does it an injustice anyway. I installed an Optima 3-9x40 AO I had laying around and that seems to be perfect for it.

    What others should know:

The CO2 cap had grit in the threads and was difficult to screw down or unscrew. Cleaning and lightly oiling the threads on the cap and gas tube solved the problem The bolt was dry and needed a drop of oil. It is a great target and plinking rifle and wonderful not having to pump it up. At about 6 ft lbs of energy, it is only about half of the commonly accepted standard of 12 ft lbs required for hunting small small game. I would not consider it by any stretch, sufficient for hunting anything bigger than a frog. I'll probably buy another just because I like it so much. lol

    Things I liked:

This is the gun to buy period! I absolutely love it, so much that I modified the internals, slapped on a nice scope, bipod and a DonnyFL to make it library quiet. This thing shoots dime sized groups from 21 yards plus, I am now shooting 13.43gr pellets at 630fps and 5.5gr pellets at 800fps and get about 50 usable/consistent shots at least. This gun is amazing that is all I can say, I wish they made a version that would take an 88g tank!

    Things I would have changed:

Make an 88g tank version, other than that this thing is perfect!

    What others should know:

I made the mistake of buying an Umarex Fusion 2 and that was trash so I bought this instead and modified it, much better gun! Also this gun loves pellets in the 7gr range like the RWS Match 10 and Air Arms Diabolo Express.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate have a 4x16 scope 0n mine may be overkill but it's fun to watch the pellets hit the target. like that it has rails on the front end easy to put on a bipod. .177 cal shoots really good groups with crosman hollow points. lots of fun for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

wish it was not so hard to cock.

    What others should know:

you have to let co2 to run out all the way before you can change it out.

    Things I would have changed:

THIS GUN IS AMAZING! I ordered it after my Fusion 2 broke down and leaked CO2, I probably have fired about 1500 rounds through it without any issue. For the money I am simply impressed, I did put a good scope on it and at about 65' I can shoot about quarter sized groups.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be great if you could adapt an 88g CO2 tank.

    What others should know:

This good shoots amazing with RWS power ball pellets!!! Try them and you will be very happy.

I originally bought the QB87S as a gift for my 9 and 11 year old grandsons, but it was just a little too big for them, so I started to shoot it. Amazing accuracy and comfortable handling makes this a fun rifle to shoot. I scoped it with a Winchester 2-7x AO and it shoots dime size groups out to 20yds.

    Nothing

    Things I liked:

Excellent service as always from Pyramyd! Came a day ahead of schedule. My QB78s is in .22 caliber. Put on a Barska 3x9x32 scope and placed my target at 25 yards. 5 shots to zero in and it was bullseye after bullseye and that is straight out of the box. No need to break this rifle in! Trigger on this gun is very nice. Tiny bit of creep and boom!!!! Pull feels around one pound of less if that's possible? All of my break barrels have hard long pulls on their triggers. Not the case at all here. Took off the sights and scoped it. Added a silencer from one of my other guns. Just for looks only. This rifle is quiet. Besides back to back bullseyes I also took an aerosol can and placed it at 25 yards. Pellet through and through on the can! So yes this gun has power even before I start the power mods. Pellets I tried so far were crosman premiers 14 grain as well as gamo rockets in the same weight. Gun loves both but I am sticking with the gamo because they are easier to handle.

    Things I would have changed:

This gun already has decent power and can hit targets out to 50 yards with ease. Yes I texted that too! But if it is more power you are after, than I recommend you get the mod kit available by archer air. Other than that this gun has it all.

    What others should know:

This rifle is seriously for plinking and target only. Even if you power mod it you are not going to get a humane kill on anything larger than a pigeon at 25 yards of squirrel or rabbit at 15 yards. 30 to 50 yards will require that magnum break barrel to get the job done on small game. Now for the big NEGATIVE..... The front sight was definitely off center on this barrel. And by a lot! Lucky for me I don't use open sights. After everything you just read this is a minor glitch in my book.

    Things I would have changed:

rear sight with click adjustments, improve cocking bolt (to rough),piercing cap very hard to remove.

    What others should know:

I have purchased three so far, are very accurate, use them for 4-h 3 position shooting, have improved accuracy by replacing front and rear sights with Industry Brand target aperture rear sight (this is the only rear sight that will work on this rifle $39.99) and glob front sight (15.99 ) from archerairguns.com. Front sight will require some filing on barrel for pin. On my personal rifle i smooth out all rough edges on bolt making it smoother and easier to cock. Co2 piercing cap i believe is over sized making it very hard to unscrew when replacing co2 cartridges.

ITS LITE - PISTOL GRIP - I AM 5 FT 8 IN AND IT FITS ME BETTER THAN QB78 DELUXE- IT IS ACCURATE-EASY TO UPGRADE.

    Things I would have changed:

THE REAR SIGHT IS NOT FULLY ADJUSTABLE. I DID NOT CARE ABOUT IT BUT WANTED TO MAKE SURE OTHERS KNEW THAT.

    What others should know:

MINE SHOT 14.3 GR AT 500 FT PER SECOND. I REPLACED THE CO2 TO BARREL SEAL WITH WATER FILTER PLASTIC PIPE. I OPENED UP ( DRILLED ) THE BOLT AT THE BOTTOM WHERE THE CO2 COMES INTO THE BARRELL. AND ALSO THE HOLES (JUST A LITTLE) FOR THE BARREL AND ITS HOUSING. NOW WITH THE SAME AMO AT 620 FPS. .

    Things I liked:

This is my second QB78 and it is just as accurate as my 4 year old .22. It is a nail driver and I could not be happier with it. Also, with this .177, I can add a paintball Cylinder. That will give me a longer shooting time.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not a thing

    What others should know:

This is a great 25 to 30 yard, small game, up to Turkeys and plinking Rifle and backyard friendly, but that depends on your neighbors I would guess. Dealing with Pyramyd Air has been a pleasure. Some dumb questions, I'm sure, were asked and answered with politeness, while, i would bet, shaking their head and smiling. Thanks to all the guys and gals.
