Things I liked:

Light, nice balanced, report is muffled enough by the sbd system. Powerful and accurate (can keep 5 jsb ultra shock 10 grn pellets inside a nickel at 10 - 15 yards with a 4x32 utg scope and mounts.). Had it zeroed after 12 shots, its stayed within a click of zero since, Im at about 200 shots so far.

Things I would have changed:

Inside the barrel was very dirty, no biggie- put some clean patches through it before firing.also stock screws needed a tighten. But the quest has held tight since.

What others should know:

For this price, for a break barrel rifle, this air gun is a steal at this price. Very happy. Great packaging, quick delivery. Thanks PA!

Things I liked:

This is my first Gas Piston powered air gun. I thought it would be a good value with all the features it offered at a good price point. The Glowing reviews also convinced me to buy. I found the reviews to be inaccurate and I question the validity of them. This gun is VERY Heavy, it weighs more than any real gun I own, so its hard to use for anything other than bench shooting, totally impractical to carry around in the woods. This gun jerks violently when shot making it almost impossible to get a group below three inches with almost no consistency. I shot it over 300 times so it would get broken in as they say, I also put a very expensive scope on it, nothing has helped this gun to be more accurate. Maybe Gas Piston or Spring guns are not for me, I owned a Sheridan pump up for 30 years and Loved that gun till it died. I wanted to post my review so there was a different perspective on this model.

Things I would have changed:

I would NOT buy this gun again.

What others should know:

Go somewhere you can actually shoot the gun you want to buy before you spend your money. Dont rely on online reviews, Unless you can return the gun if you dont like it.

    Things I liked:

Price , power and acuuacy for its power

    Things I would have changed:

    Trigger, trigger, trigger. lousy scope

    What others should know:

I've had this for a couple of years now. I set up pop cans at about 35-40 yards. I usually do 10/10 or 9/10. I found it so easy to hit these cans that I starteds setting them on end and aiming for the aiming for the opening-lever rivet. While it brings my average down yes, I do hit that rivet occasionally as well as all over the top of the can. The trigger is the worst that i've experienced but I've worked on getting used to it. It has such a loooong travel to let off. It still sucks but I adjusted to it. Yes, it is heavy but I don't carry it far from camp.

If you are looking for a gas piston air rifle to bag small game for a low price, this is it. I've hunted multiple times and put this rifle through the paces take 40 yard squirrel shots commonly and I've never had an issue. It's cheap, built solid and hits wherever you pull the trigger. I did put a cheap pinty 3-9x40 amazon scope on it and it has held up perfect. I couldnt be more pleased with this inexpensive well built hunting rifle.

    Things I liked:

Smooth cocking, SBD silencer, weight, balance, accuracy and price. With the nitro piston elite this rifle is very smooth and easy to cock compared to the standard nitro piston, the trigger still needs work,, short first stage, a bit longer second stage and still gritty feeling. Unlike the previous triggers on say the vantage you can not use the RC bearing trick, all you can do is replace the spring with a lighter one.

    Things I would have changed:

    Trigger, it still needs work.

    What others should know:

Christmas gift from the misses, I have five break barrels now and this rifle is the only one that I have not had to do anything to which was nice, the bore was nice and clean, it is lubed very well, all screws were nice and tight. I did however place some old rags inside the butt stock as it sounded a little hollow, sounds more solid now. At this point this is the best break barrel I have, the misses purchased it in 22 cal and I am very happy with it,, she knows what I like and recommend adding either caliber to your collection. I have not shot it with very many pellets yet so I will post an update as to how that goes and whether this rifle is very pellet picky or not.

    Things I liked:

First - I would highly recommend PyramydAir for these reasons: 1) 20 for $20 mount zero scope, 2) online chat support from experienced airgunners, 3) complete comparison tables, 4) sale prices. I am pleased with this gun and scope installation. I was very interested in a quiet gun, and it can be difficult to find comparable information online. The specifications/ comparison and chat support was very helpful. This gun is not loud. I bought it to shoot in my backyard and not get my neighbors attention. While the may could hear then piston release on a quiet day, they wouldn't know it was a gun shooting. I also read a lot about scope install issues - so the scope mount and break in was of high interest. I was successful with my first two squirrel shots. I am tall and wish there was more plastic on the forestock. I also think that since you have to buy a hardcase for shipping with the 20 for $20 option, cheaper cases should be offered.

    Things I liked:

Its much lighter than the other Crosman I have with the same NP elite system

    Things I would have changed:

These triggers suck so badly I cant express it in words. Horrible! The NP2 triggers you could fix with a bearing but these are horrendous.

    What others should know:

Compared to the other NPelite gun I have this is super accurate despite the trigger. I bought it for a friend with a chipmunk issue and it took me 5 shots total to zero and was shooting surprisingly tight 30yd groups with the crappy stock scope. The other NP elite I have had a UTG 3-9 and I cant come close to the groups as with this gun.

    Things I liked:

After shooting 100 plus pellets the gun is getting better as far as accuracy. You cannot hold this gun tight to the shoulder and have accuracy. The artillery hold is the only way of getting full accuracy with this break barrow gun.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope is crap according to the customer service department at Pyramyd Air. The scope that came with the gun kept sliding back with every shot I took. After calling customer service they recommended I go buy a better scope. So I did and the new scope did the same thing. After reading that one of the scope mounts that came with the gun had a set screw pin on the rear mount and I noticed that the gun had a hole on top for that set screw pin. I end up using the mounts that came with the gun on the scope I purchased.

    What others should know:

Clean the barrow before you shoot the first pellet. My barrow was VERY dirty. I passed 9 cleaning pads through the barrow before it came clean.

    Power, ease of cooking, accuracy

    Things I would have changed:

Its a bit on the heavy side.

    What others should know:

This gun seems to be a really solid deal for the money. It runs cphp's very well and they hit hard. I do a lot of small game hunting with break barrels and I'm confident this one will be a good choice. It's a bit on the heavy side, so I would stick to the smaller treks but with the accuracy and power it provides, it should take down squirrels and rabbits easily at ranges of 30-50 yards.
