Things I liked:

I recently received a Diana 250 for Christmas, and I have to say for a low end, or beginners rifle as the pros say, it's actually quite amazing. I starter airgun collecting and shooting a year ago and have had anything from Hatsan, too Beeman and Benjamin air rifles and pistols and the over all quality so my Diana is by far the best. Plus the bullseye mount and the ok scope, I mean + it up.

Things I would have changed:

I wish Diana would make a low-end air piston rifle for the middle guys.

What others should know:

Bullseye mount =60$ Scope=120$ =180$ The Diana 250 is Only 130$ And I'm loving it!

Things I liked:

NOTHING!

Things I would have changed:

EMPLOYEES

What others should know:

I have ordered sever items from you over the last two years. I am amazed of the outcome of my last order. This was PITIFUL. NOT THE RIGHT SCOPE, SCOPE MOUNTS, AND PACKING WAS TERRIBLE. Plus the mounts were zip tied and missing two screws. The scope is for a Crosman Rifle. Not a Diana. The mounts are for something cheap. I want the Correct Scope and Scope Mount for this Gun. Which is the Diana 250 COMBO BULLSEYE MOUNT AND SCOPE.I cannot believe this. Come and pick it up or send me my Correct Order. I am Furious! Did not have any protection on Rifle or scope. Scope has scratches in it and mounts are missing (2) two screws. I cannot even use it. I want this Handled in the Correct Manner. This is the Second time I have had to reach out about your Service. Quality built, nice looking rifle. Very good value.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger is horrible, length of pull is long.

    What others should know:

Trigger is 4.5 lbs. After trigger job 3lbs. Installed a utg 3x9 Hunter. Rifle went from not accurate to 3/4 @ 30yds. Happy with the purchase. The rifle bag that came with mine is very nice . H-N fts 8.64 5.2 head. Thanks Pyramid

Nice entry level gun, .22cal is good for pest control.

    Things I would have changed:

A good value for the money and made well, So far it has held up well & would not change (time will tell).

    What others should know:

I have only owned this gun for a month & there quality control has held up ok.Keeping screws tight & slight adj. of scope but otherwise again a good value for a novice.

    Things I liked:

I got the .22 and think it is a solid springer. It has substantial weight and while not bulky, feels dense. The linkages, seals, screws and all seem robust. It is simple to take apart and tune. Finally, I can shoot it relatively accurately, relative to other springers I have known: at 10 meters, supported artillery hold, I'm getting ~1/2 inch with lead-free Winchester MVP 8.2gr, ~3/4" with $ig $aur Crux 10gr., ~1 with Predator GTO 12gr, and inches with Baracuda Greens (although they do "feel" good when they shoot?) Don't laugh, those are good groups for me from a springer! The open sights line up as a nice, tight match, post and notch. It came with the Diana Bullseye Zero-Recoil scope mount and a 3x9-40 AO scope with a duplex reticle. The mount took my remaining neurons to figure out, but then I really liked it. The scope seems of decent quality, but as the ZR mount is rather high, I put on a Hawke mil-dot for easier close range guessti-aiming (for less guessti-maiming).

    Things I would have changed:

Well for me, 5'10" with average arms, it is a bit of a reach to what then feels like a small grip. I would expect either the grip to be bigger or the stock shorter. Someday, I'll cut maybe a half inch off the stock. I prefer the softer thumb-near-the-safety hold over grabbing the grip on this gun, so the thumb-hole is irrelavent. Out of the box the gun was a beast, hard to cock, detonating on every shot, smoking and ringing my near ear with piston slam. I gave up after a tin of 200 pellets or so, but that said, it is super easy to tune.

    What others should know:

I though the rifle over-sprung, since I shoot the lighter lead-free ammo. So I took it apart (put masking-tape around the trigger assembly to keep the pins from falling out), cleaned out of the chamber, swapped the Top Hat for a nickel and lubed the rest sparingly, and it stopped detonating and slamming the piston. But then there was this buzz, so then I removed two spring coils, flat and ground the new end, to give a half-inch or so of preload. The buzz is gone and it shoots with more of a taught drum-beat than a smack. Look up Hector Medina's web posts on that ZR mount. Basically, a cleaning, lube and screw-check got it sliding smoothly. At first I couldn't seat the scope mount since the stop pin gets in the way of the rails settling into the dovetail. The trick is to pull the longer mount screw that goes through the stop pin so it can float, set everything into place, then put that screw back and tighten it all down.

    Things I liked:

Good looking rifle - nicely blued metal and the stock is finished very well.

    Things I would have changed:

As others have said - the trigger. It is long and heavy and hampers what would otherwise be a really good rifle. Would have gotten a better overall rating form me if it weren't for that lousy trigger.

    What others should know:

I bought the .22 version and at the time I bought mine it was packaged with a Diana 3 - 9x40 AO scope in their ZR mount, and came with a Pellet pen, padded case and a tin of H&N pellets - all for $130, which I think is a great deal. I was pretty disappointed with the accuracy I was getting with the included pellets (H&N 21.14gr Baracuda Match). The rifle didn't like those AT ALL! Tried a few other pellets and got better accuracy, but the winner for my rifle was the JSB Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.13gr. If I do my part right they will do just about 1/4" @ 25 yards. I chrono'ed them and for ten shots got an average velocity of 659 fps., with an amazing ES of 8 fps. and SD of only 2! Talk about consistency! Mine turned out to to be an extremely good rifle for the price point - now if it only came with a better trigger...

    Things I liked:

Very nice airgun with Checkered wood stock. It is sturdy and nice to hold. I am working on improving my marksmanship especially with the scope.

    Things I would have changed:

It is a bit hard to break and cock but that is a good safeguard from being inadvertently used by kids.

    Things I would have changed:

    Better accuracy

    What others should know:

I might have got a bad one. Excessive barrel droop, could not sight in with open sights. Put a scope on it and could only achieve shotgun pattern sized groups. I have 3 other springers and one piston rifle, all 4 shoot a lot better than this one.

    Things I liked:

Great rifle at a unbeatable price. This is my second one, I got the .177 model when they first came out and after some tuning it can now compete in accuracy with any of my much more expansive break barrel rifles. The wood stock is great and all steel parts are very nicely finished too. Yes it is made in China but it is clear to me that Diana does more than putting it's name on it, quality control is at the factory is obvious. The scope that come with it is "ok" for a cheaper scope, but thanks to the recoil absorbing Z mount it still hold zero after well over 1000 shots.

    Things I would have changed:

I think this rifle deserve a better trigger, Diana should consider an upgrade even if they had to raise the price accordingly.

    What others should know:

This a great rifle for beginners or older shooters alike. My .177 spit the Crosman Premier at 1000 fps, plenty of power for most small game and pest.

    Things I liked:

Without the scope the rifle is accurate. The scope would not adjust far enough to the right. It ran out of adjustment even with other rings and on other rifles, even when shimmed. 1 stars with scope. 4 stars without scope .

    Things I would have changed:

    The scope.

    What others should know:

The loudest noise is twang from the spring.

Pretty rifle. Powerful. Accurate enough. Good enough for the price I paid.

    Things I would have changed:

As I said, for the price I paid, I will not complain. But if I had paid full retail of around $200, I would change the trigger. The stock, tho pretty from a distance, up close has a weird spotted natural beechwood pattern Ive never seen before. And Im not a fan of anything made in China.

    What others should know:

Good value as part of the combo. Is made in China but the quality control is good by Diana from Germany. After all, iPhones are made in China but designed by Apple. Trigger is not good but for the price good enough. Scope it comes with also China but is above average for the price (once again part of the package)

    Things I liked:

The rifle is very accurate and the stock very comfortable for off-hand shooting

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is very rough and it appears to be little that can be done to improve it. The new, floating spring loaded scope mount is good in concept, but I question whether it is really an improvement over sturdy scope mounts and a robust scope. I prefer the latter. I was surprised that the scope failed when mounted on rings and a base designed to reduce the effects of air-gun recoil.

    What others should know:

The Diana 250 rifle/scope configuration functioned well for the first hundred plus shots, when the scope suddenly went grossly out of focus and the objective lens had to be readjusted after each shot. I returned the rifle/scope kit to PA and up-graded to the HW-50. Although more expensive the superb quality of the Weihrauch HW-50 is well worth the additional cost. I could not be more pleased with the way PA handled the exchange and up-grade.

    Things I liked:

Rifle has a well balanced feel. It is lighter then my previous air rifle which was a Marksman 45. I like the stock, feels more comfortable having the pistol grip/thumb hole style. Accuracy was fantastic. I was tearing holes of prior shots, real happy with the quality of the rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

The safety switch is very hard to place back onto safe once you have placed it on fire. Not a deal breaker...however I use it for hunting small game so I use the safety often if the critter runs off before I get a good shot.

    What others should know:

The scope that came with this was mounted backwards on the Zero Recoil Mount. Being mounted backwards, the scope didn't have a chance at moving it's reticle far enough to even get pellets to land on paper at 10 yards. Double check which way the scope is mounted in the Zero Recoil Mount. There is an arrow on the top of the Zero Recoil Mount....that arrow needs to be facing in the direction of the muzzle. I don't think the scope should have been mounted on this riser if they couldn't install the scope in the correct direction to begin with. Just my 2 cents
