I love thw wood stock and plastic barrel shrouds, you dont have to worry about corrosion and it makes this gun very light. i have killed many squirrels and birds with this air rifle.

After i few months with this gun the scope just all of the sudden quit working i would HIGHLY suggest buying a new scope emidiately. another thing ive been having trouble with is the plastic piece just above the grip behind the action it keeps sliding back so i had to glue it into place.

this gun is a great buy for the money but i wouldnt suggest it for a serious, hardcore airgunner.

Have had this gun for two years and it shoots good as new. Also, I love the wood stock along with the adjustable trigger.

I might just make the barrel shroud an all metal barrel.

Great airgun for plinking, target competion, or hunting, very nice well rounded air rifle.

I love the wood stock. Very nice. Gamo comes through on the stock. The plastic barrel shroud is great in my opinion. It is one less spot on the gun to worry about rust or corrosion from handling.

I think Gamo should leave out the scope and lower the price a little. Plastic trigger and plastic safety have replaced the metal trigger and safety lever on previous models. I am very unhappy about this. Upgrading the trigger is no longer an option.

You can throw the included scope in the trash! It is garbage. Do your self a favor and always use high performing lead pellets. Forget about the 1000 fps PBA.

The stock is very well made. The wood is smooth and flawless. Gamo did a nice job with the wood stock overall. I am a little dissapointed with the new plastic trigger and plastic safety. Gamo decided to rework the action and trigger block. Any trigger upgrades or aftermarket tuning will no longer work for this rifle. I'm not an expert and can't say whether this is a good thing or better than it was, but Gamo has always provided a quality line of airguns. With very little upgrades, they basically deliver alot of gun for the money. Anyways, it is still a great shooter and most will not even notice the plastic trigger. I do like the plastic covered barrel however. I don't have to stress out about touching the barrel and leaving corrosive oils on it. The barrel will never rust. You can throw the scope in the garbage, its junk! Buy a decent scope that you like. But don't try to fit a 12" scope with a 3" sunshade on it, this won't work. Also the rings must be 11mm dovetail type. I am using RWS Meisterkugeln Standard .177 Cal 8.2 Grains Wadcutter and Avanti Diablo Match .177 Cal 8.4 Grains Wadcutter. Oh let me tell you, I love these pellets. I typically like a heavier pellet. I don't neccessarily care about FPS. Stability and accuracy down range is my objective. So these seem to work great, but I haven't got this rifle broken in yet. 4 stars for the plastic trigger. 5 stars for accuracy and power.

Please tell Gamo to go back to the metal trigger. Don't include a worthless scope and lower the overall price instead. I'm not crazy about the free included sling.

I recommend RWS oil. And use it according to the instructions. Wash your pellets. Wash your hands. Only use high quality ammo. Order your guns from Pyramid Air for professional results. Don't shoot animals for no reason. teach youngsters positive values, responsible gun handling, shooting skills, and gun etiquet.

Very Good Air Rifle for the money. It is very light and balanced. Getting 1 to 1 1/2 inch groups from 30 yards. Still practicing my artillerty hold and expect the groups to get tighter with more practice. Super light cocking effort. The scope that comes with it is great. I put some loc-tite on the screws to eliminate scope shift and so far so good after 1000 shots. My girlfriend and I were knocking down cans and plastic bottles at 40-50 yards every shot...This rifle is a lot of fun to shoot.

Nothing for a gun in this price range.

Mine likes the H&N Crow Magnums and the JSB Diablo extra heavy domed. Great gun...get it and happy shootin.

I am a total 'Newbie." Received my Hunter Sport .177 and found it to be well made, attractive, totally happy. The sight is not a mounted BSA, instead it is an unmounted Gamo. Gamo owns BSA! Nice scope except the lateral adjusting mechanism was installed backwards. I have to turn the knob opposite to the printed directions! Works! Able to zero it in NOW, with little difficulty. I have no doubt that if I ever hit a pigeon it WILL do the job. Attempting to keep the scope from sliding is a challenge. I have yet to find the balance between tight and too tight.

I really am impressed with this rifle. It is my second gamo and I have had 2 Sheridans. Trigger pull is good and power is adequat. I really like that there are no sights to show up in the bottom of the scope when mounted (had this problem with other Gamo and both Sheridans.

trigger pull is light compared to my beeman VERY accurate and consistant cocking effort is very light lots of power

when is gamo going to start putting iron sights on their rifles

Anyone who says it's not accurate doesn't know what they're doing. Mounted the scope properly( with locktite) shot it maybe fifteen times to sight in..note...when you're sighting it in at 20yards, it's a 100 yd scope..it takes 5 times the clicks to adjust it. The first shot at a squirrel...dead..I swear. Killed in 7 in 3 days. This thing is amazing with exact diablo heavy

THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY AWSOME AIR RIFLE. IT HAS GREAT ACCURACY, I SIGHTED IT IN , WITH ONLY A CUSHION FOR A REST, NOT A FIXED REST, 20 YDS , DIME GROUPS. THIRTY YARDS, QUARTER GROUPS. I THINK I' M GOING TO GET A GOOD FIXED REST, I THINK IT WILL IMPROVE FROM THAT. THIS THING HAS ENOUGH POWER TO SHOOT THROUGH A 3/4 " PINE BOARD AT 35 YDS. THAT IS WHAT MY TARGETS WERE ATTACHED TO.

I HAVE ALREADY CHANGED THE SCOPE,, THE SCOPE IS FOGGY AT LONGER YARDAGE, OTHER THAN THAT, NOTHING NEEDS TO BE CHANGED.

I TRULY BELIEVE THIS IS AN ADULT AIR RIFLE, BEGINNERS WITH CLOSE SUPERVISION ONLY.

Nice stock and color. It has a very good accuracy. I do like the bull barre, same as the Big Cat has. The weight and balance of this rifle is very good. Gamo does a great job on all their rifles...

Zero...

Although i bought this fine rifle for my female cousin she gave me the opportunity to use it for a couple of days to zero in the scope. Less than half hour into it and i was shooting and hitting wine cork at about 25 feet. This rifle has very good accuracy.

This is a proven power plant used on almost all of the gamo rifles and shotguns. Nice stock, good accuracy, again this is the same barrel on the hunter pro, varment hunter, shadow series. Very low profile and light weight compared to others in class

It vibrates more than my Remington summit and Crosman Storm Xt. It's not as powerful either, even though this rifle is almost 7months newer. The BSA scope as usual, is low class.

I've been using this for a month (about 700 rnds) for hunting and long range (70-120 yards) target. Compared to the mentioned above, this is more consistent in power (better seals I'm sure), but I installed a breech seal shim in the above mentioned to boost efficiency. I haven't actually used this on game (nothing showed up when I set out), but read reviews of the other gamo's to find out. Mine likes the aerodynamic gamo pro magnums.

really accurate. good weight. nice wood stock

trigger is long and heavy even after adjusted. i put a centerpoint 3-9x40 scope on it with crow magnums and its dead on. From about 30 yards hit gatorade bottles caps everytime. great gun

this is a great gun weighs about 7 to 7.5 pounds with the scope. very easy to handle.

Super all around air rifle. My wife handles it easily. We have not found any real downers. Once the scope was mounted and adjusted, we are shooting 1/2" groups at 30yds consistently with Gamo 7.71gr Match pellets. We could not be more pleased with the quality for the money.

Would like to see open sites added - at least as an option.

The scope mounted easily and we did use Lok-tite on all threads while mounting. Adjustment was minimal and easy. After an extensive search and comparisons we don't believe that this rifle can be beat for the backyard plinker.

This gun is really accurate after u adjust the scope. me and my friend could hit quarters from about 50 feet pretty easily, its my first high powered air rifle and its really accurate. the scope is pretty good, but once u adjust it.. it works great

the gun is a little bit heavy and the triggers a lil hard to pull. but other than that its great

make sure you take the time to adjust the scope, it took me about twenty shots, and once i fixed the scope it was perfect can get like 2-3 inch groups at 50 feet

I love everything about this gun! The look, the weight, how it feels in my hands, the accuracy, where the safety is makes it easy to switch on/off. I really like the fluted barrel and the adjustable two stage trigger. The cocking effort is easy. This rifle is well made. A great value for the money! I havn't put it down yet.

If I was forced to cite something I would change, it would have to be the trigger. The travel between rest and fire is a bit much, even after adjusting it. I am used to a trigger that has the feel of a hammer dropping, like on a rimfire .22 or a 30-06. This one is a bit "mushy". However it is functional and not much of an issue.

I did alot of research before I decided on this model. And I read a few reviews that railed on the scope not keeping zero because of the violent spring movement when fired. So with this in mind, when I mounted the scope I used red Loctite on the threads of the bolts on the mount and the rings. Gave it 24hrs to set and I have had zero problems with the scope not keeping true! Proper shooting technique is essential! Without this no weapon will be accurate. Also regarding the scope, it is very simple, easy to operate, with no bells or wistles. Extremely Functional. Gamo Match and Beeman Crow Magnum pellets seem to be the most accurate @ 50 yrds so far. BUY FROM PYRAMYD AIR--THE SERVICE IS SECOND TO NONE ! ! . . . .

Great Beautiful gun. Easy to cock, fun to shoot. Very decent power. Also, a good solid recoil that makes you feel tingly inside! A great gun in almost everyway, Always is mistaken for a real rifle when it fires and people are always SHOCKED when I tell them that it is a pellet gun. Some people just don't accept that this is only a pellet gun. This is just an incredible gun.

There is a little plastic piece at behind the scope where the barrel starts. After I cocked the gun a few times, it came out. I thought oh well but then the whole gun seperated! This little plastic piece holds the gun together! I then notices that the trigger gaurd was loose and fixed that. Haven't had a problem since.

Be careful with the scope, This gun has such power that the scope can move when you shoot. I have had to re calibrate my scope like 1o times.

it is pretty powerful and it worth the money. I also like the plastic outter barrel that i would not rust with numberous of cocking the barrel.

althought those PBA Ammo are good but gamo should check the size of those pellet is loose and causeing not seat perfectly.

Get a better scope ,The scope that comes with the rifle is only good at around 200 ft after the its not that good. Also the spring will make too loud noise after like 50 shoot or more.Needs to be lube after every time use. But use pellet gun oil.
