Things I liked:

My favorite thing about this item was the 2 months that it worked without issues . First it was the screw that pushes the co2 . Then it was the follower getting stuck .after that it was the plastic striker that hits the air release valve when you squeeze the trigger .

Things I would have changed:

I would change the cheap pot metal screw/plug that holds the co2 . It strips easily . Then I would change the follower. It is cheaply designed and is barely functional . Then I would usea different material with whole trigger mechanism it is also cheaply designed and when it fails , and it will renders the item useless .

What others should know:

This bb gun was an extreme let down . Out of the 5 or so months I had it i shot it on maybe 5 or 6 occasions no more than a hundred bbs each time. I know a refund or store credit is not an option due to the time I have had it . Not worth 115 bucks. Not worth 50 bucks. Hopefully the fine people here at pyramid will see my dillema notice how long I have been a customer and give me some kind of hope for a resolution in this matter.

    Things I liked:

Low budget way to practice in the back yard. Look, feel, and opertion is very realistic. And it is fun. Seems to eat steel BBs, Dust Devil BBs, and even plastic BBs. Way better than expected shots per C02 cartridge. Blowback feature provides a reasonable tactile feel and lightens trigger pull.. Last shot slide lock feature is very nice.

    Things I would have changed:

Create a better spring lock for the mag. to make it easier to load. It has one but it does not work well and is difficult to engage. Lower the price of the mag. Would be nice to have a 2nd mag... but not at that price.

    What others should know:

Keep ranges short or targets large to increase the enjoyment. It isn't a match grade pistol. Last shot slide lock may not work reliably if your trying to squeeze out that last bit of C02. The slide may not get pushed back far enough to engage the lock.

    Things I liked:

As a Replica, this H & K was spot on! The realistic feel and weight was a perfect Replica. The tacky grips are Excellent. The blowback is amazing, punchy, and snappy, with a very strong recoil spring that brings home the beast of a slide to a loud and crisp break. This chunky pistol has a very satisfying and delightful trigger that doesn't take much to fire. The air does most of the work, where in alot of other pistols, the trigger does the work in feeding the bb into the breach. I would have to give this gun a 5 star as far as a Replica air gun goes, to its real life counterpart.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger and inner parts, sear. Rear to the gun, must be improved, materials are not strong enough for this beast of a gun. Blowback is so strong, along with its recoil spring on the guide rod, cant hold up, the things break on this gun. Its such a cool gun, its heartbreaking and so disappointing.

    What others should know:

Strengthening the trigger assembly is a must, and a big cry out to Umarex to fix this trigger, as it is a bigtime FAIL in the manufacturing and design. It breaks and leaves the gun inoperable. Inner Materials used is some sort of Pewter, or just the cheapest tin metal on earth. It cant stand up to repeating firing for very long. The frame in the back that holds the guts to the hammer and operation, fails and cracks. I'm hoping I got a lemon, and my replacement will be a good one.

    Things I liked:

Maybe I got the USP version of a Winchester One-of-a-Thousand, but darn this thing is accurate. Very good fit & finish, grip has stippling very heavy like CZ P-07. Nice white-dot sights. Magazine drops easy. A crisp blow-back. Safety clicks in confidently (and can de-cock by pushing all the way down). Just a nice balanced, good shootin' pistol, especially for the price, hard to beat. Was really surprised how much I liked this my first time out (and continue to). Right out of the "box" this pistol sparked much joy!

    Things I would have changed:

The Achilles heel is in the magazine. That darn CO2 locking nut harder to thread than most, similar to XDM and M&P 40, which is not a good thing. It take patience, it's not a race. Try lining up the locking nut and then turning the magazine itself slowly until the thread catches. You get the hang of it after a while. The real issue now is finding spare mags(!), lucky to find one at a local vendor. The usual complaint about those UX heat-sealed clam-shell packaging. You have to take you life into your hands slicing open (not mention possibly marring your pistol!). Please UX adopt what SIG did and swtich to unsealed clam-shell inside a cardboard box ... or crazy idea, just a cardboard box!

    What others should know:

Was on the fence about this pistol due to bad reviews for a long while, but price dropped and Bulleye Bucks calling, finally went for it, and so glad I did. Has shot to the top of my favorites! I'm an avid replica pistol collector, shooting on an indoor range at 15-20 ft. I've tried UX steel, Crosman Black Widows, Hornady, Copperhead BBs, and all shot well. Mine shoots slightly low, but windage is on target, tends to shoot better on 2nd magazine, once CO2 settles down. Overall, a very good POA to POI for a smooth-bore and non-adjustable sights.

    Things I liked:

What I liked: True to actual as a replica. Great accuracy. Great feel and shooting comfort. The blowback is wonderful and the realism could not be better. My 3 star rating is only because the pistol shoots so well. The H&K shoots low and a tad to the left, but if you compensate reasonably well it will put five shots together with little room to spare at 10 feet. My Caldwell crony stats were as follows for a 12 shot string: Hi velocity - 348 fps, Lo velocity - 338 fps, Range - 10. Average Velocity - 343.8 fps, SD - 3.05 fps, Variance - 3.18 fps. I have over 50 airgun BB pistols and the only one that comes even close is my Desert Eagle, but that's a pellet pistol. Easily met and surpassed spec.

    Things I would have changed:

The Magazine. It is a game-stopper. Really bad. Loading the BBs into the magazine is so hard that I vowed I probably would never use this airgun again, once I had tested it. Then there is the threaded cap to secure the air cylinder. I have several other BB pistols that use the same type of cylinder piercing and I have no trouble with them but THIS one I could not thread. I finally used a wire brush wheel to remove the black stuff on the threads of the cap but it did not make things easier. It took me about 20 minutes to finally get the cap screwed down tight and piercing the CO2 cylinder. Basically, the threaded cap sits so low into the handle that you can't hold it to thread it in without causing misalignment and you might even cross thread it by trying to use the allen wrench to thread it in. Very, very bad design

    What others should know:

I am VERY disappointed in this replica. As a replica, it is totally 5 star. As a working replica, it is only 1 star due entirely to the unbelievably bad magazine. You must hold the follower with a very strong thumb during the entire attempt at loading the full capacity of the magazine. You must hold against a very strong spring while attempting to drop 15 BBs one at a time against a small opening left immediately in front of the spring. I don't have enough fingernails to do this many times in succession. I limited myself to loading 3 times for testing. I will not do it again. Count on dropping multiple BBs. I used two cylinders; one for the accuracy shooting test and a fresh one for the fps statistics. I wished I had only stuck with one cylinder, because threading a second cap for a fresh cartridge required another 20 minute struggle with the threaded cap. I can't believe that Umarex let this product out into the market with the really terrible magazine for an airgun this good.

    Things I liked:

It is a good replica of the old model, the trigger is light having a short take-up and reset, it has blowback, the slide locks back when magazine is empty and it fieldstrips like the 1911s. Although the accuracy is a little off, it has a good precision at 20 feet. The 3-dot sights have minimum wiggle room. It also has double action.

    Things I would have changed:

To make replica of the modern model which has a Picatinny rail instead of the old proprietary rail. Too many white warning, should be hidden.

    What others should know:

This is the second one I purchased. The first one had the slide catch-release broken around 4000 rounds and just after that the trigger stop working (a little piece of metal came out). On free hand rapid fire the spread was around 4 inches at 20 feet. As it happens on almost all air pistols, you can get 60 rounds per CO2 if you give little time between loadings (at 78-79 F), normally I get 45 rounds with good power. I decided to use the Picatinny rail adapter (GGG-1134SP), meant for the gun, and installed a laser (UTG LS200). As expected, the accuracy was improved having only a couple of shots outside the 1.875-inch bullseye.

The feel and look are perfect. The slide release is satisfying and the safety and de-cocker worked perfectly.

    Things I would have changed:

I had bought this gun twice and both times the gun broke after a month or so. I believe a piece broke that made the trigger no longer work. The trigger would move the issue is that it doesn't fire.

    What others should know:

Buy this gun if you like the idea of a realistic bb Usp. I'm pretty sure that I just got some duds and they are probably very well built. Also can't really say anything about the accuracy as I am not the most accurate being in the world.

    Things I liked:

Umarex doesnt disappoint with their licensed products. Functioning de-cocker, realistic field strip, nice overall weight and all around pleasure to look at and hold in your hands.

    Things I would have changed:

The slide stop lever spring seems to be a bit too weak. When I slide in a new magazine with just a little momentum its enough to dislodge the catch and it slams the slide home without me touching the release lever at all. On the same note the magazine is too heavy from a realism perspective but with a gas blowback BB gun I guess that cant be helped.

    What others should know:

I like to use lead bbs (smartshot) because I dont mind the reduced velocity and shoot at steel targets but they are just a bit too soft for them to feed without jamming once in a while. No problem with steel bbs but if you like smartshot it doesnt run smooth.

    Things I would have changed:

Very good replica, good accuracy and precision. It is perfect to train. Has a nice trigger, safety with decocking, double action and it is easy to field strip. Magazine is easy to load. It really feels good in the hand.

    Things I would have changed:

    Still to much white warnings.

    What others should know:

Shooting fast, I had 45 good rounds per CO2, using 3 magazines. So far, at 945 rounds fired, I haven't had any problem at all.

    Things I would have changed:

It comes in a blister pack but it warrants its own nice box. It doesnt rack as nicely as the Glock 17 blowback which is a shame. I would like to see a clip-in plate for the but to hide the co2 screw.

    Things I liked:

This pistol is pretty close to the actual HK USP45 firearm as far as appearance and weight. The grip is a tiny bit smaller...maybe about a 1/16 inch narrower and an 1/8 inch not as deep. The grip is still pretty big. The blow-back is pretty good. The intensity of the blow-back and hence the reliability of the pistol cycling completely becomes less intense as the cartridge pressure drops. This seems more significant with this pistol than with some other blow-back pistols I have. You can get approximately 40-50 good cycles out of a single cartridge and maybe 10 or so more, but you may need to manually help the slide get back into battery. The best thing about this pistol is the you are able to take the pistol down (i.e. field strip it) just like the actual firearm. The DA/SA trigger works convincingly, as does the decocker/safety and ambi- magazine release. Accuracy is good...it groups consistently at about 1.5 inches at 15 feet and a little low and to the left, which may be me.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much I would change that wouldn't drive the cost up. I hate the clam shell packaging.

    What others should know:

Since this is a blow-back pistol, you have to take this into account and practice with it to get consistent, accurate shots.

    Things I would have changed:

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

The function of this pistol has been nearly flawless and what malfunctions I experienced turned out to be caused by an issue I will address below. It has nice heft, a solid feel and the ergonomic design of this pistol make it comfortable in handling. The magazine is constructed like a tank, very solid. Despite not having a hold back feature for the follower, I did not find it problematic to hold it back with the off hand while loading with the other. Yes, the spring is fairly stiff but I found it manageable and I could control the follower without issue. The piercing method is solid but a little practice is needed to properly align the threads of the piercing cap while managing to keep the hex wrench from protruding against the powerlet and pushing the cap out of engagement while starting the threads. The trigger is consistent, of a good weight and it is easy to develop muscle memory for when it will break to help with consistent sight alignment. Recoil is robust, especially at first.

    Things I would have changed:

I would either re-enforce the forward area of the frame at the accessory rail or make the frame of metal. There are metal guides installed in it to provide endurance and dependability for slide engagement and travel during recoil but the accessory rail has no standard mounting groove or cross-slots to accommodate commonly used lasers or lights. The firearm version of this pistol has the same design and an adapter is available to convert this to a picatiny rail. I bought one of those and discovered it is not possible to install it firmly enough without flexing the forward area of the frame inward with the mounting hardware. This resulted in the malfunction mentioned above: the slide would bind in this area and fail to cycle properly. I discovered however that the Laser Max Spartan SPS can be mounted directly to the pistol frame without an adapter since its mounting method allows it to open up and be placed in the mounting groove and then tightened down without causing frame distortion.

    What others should know:

My pistol did not shoot to point of aim with the fixed sights, so a laser may be needed to remedy this. I found the pistol would shoot any brand of BB (11 various BB's were tested) to the same POI and all grouped well. One to avoid however is the MarksMan Premium BB. It is oversized at .177" and will not work in the .175" bore of many pistols but will jam solidly in the barrel (See my review of the MarksMan Premium BB). The MarksMan Laserhawk will work just fine. Of the 10 serviceable BB's I tested, group size ranged from a low of .667" to a high of 1.352". I shot 2 five shot groups at 6 yards with each ammo (standing free style, unsupported, two hand hold) and averaged the two groups. When I knew I had pulled a shot I took another to make up 5 well held shots. This pistol shot 6 of the 11 BB types into less than an inch. Groups of an entire magazine of the best ammo were under 2" counting all 18 shots of the group. Most of the 18 were much more closely grouped.

    Things I liked:

Very realistic looking and feeling, very aggressive stippling. Hefty and hand-filling. Spacious trigger-guard.

    Things I would have changed:

The BB magazine has no latching mechanism and the follower spring is very strong, so it is exceptionally hard to load BBs into the magazine. My magazine would not pierce any of the multiple CO2 cartridges I tried: a bunch of Crosmans, a Daisy, and an Umarex. The piercing pin made a significant dimple in each cartridge, but no piercing. That means the air gun has a zero for accuracy (couldn't hit the target at any distance), a zero for value for the money (non-firing prop guns shouldn't cost this much), and therefore a zero overall rating. Pyramyd Air's return service was excellent, however.

    What others should know:

If you can get yours to work, maybe it is an OK or even excellent air pistol. Mine was just a paperweight. And how much are these hard-to-load, won't-pierce-a-CO2-cartridge magazines as an accessory? Oh, and the pot metal used throughout is extremely soft, much more so than on air pistols made by other manufacturers.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing, it's a BB gun for suckers. Let them spend their money on a brand name.

    What others should know:

Any serious BB pistol is NOT blow-back, it steels air pressure away from the BB's velocity,,, the $30 Daisy Powerline 415 puts out nearly 500 FPS to deliver pellet like performance. Blow Back BB pistols are just a novelty.,, Real shooters use wad-cutter pellets in a revolver for accuracy and velocity..like the Crosman Vigilante.
