Things I liked:

The rifle is light, good balance, accurate, aesthetically pleasing, and a whole lot of fun to shoot. The Leapers 30mm Rings, High, 3/8" Dovetail are an excellent choice due clearance needed for the mag. Topped it off with a Accushot 3-12x44, 30mm scope, and a Harris bipod was used to stabilize the Hatsan while on the bench.

Things I would have changed:

1. Add on/off Mark's for the safety. The lack of marked on/off for the safety have you gauging the position to figure out the position at a glance. 2. Removable air tube for easier charging. 3. Buttstock Length of pull adjustment. 4. Buttstock stud for adding a sling.

What others should know:

This is my first PCP, and this rifle for under $400 is a no brainer! This was definitely a great purchase and I highly recommend this air rifle. I am very happy with my HATSAN.

Things I liked:

Great Looking but the action wouldn't function. We sent it back, and have not received credit for its return yet. My husband wants a Air Arms S500 SX in .22 but we will make no further purchases until the return issue is resolved. To our satisfaction!

Things I would have changed:

We have the Hatsan Flash QE .177 with synthetic stock. It is a tack driver out to fifty yards. Sub one MOA!

What others should know:

I have two Hatsan PCP air rifles. both accurate and reliable. The Vectus in .22 is a sub one MOA at fifty yards. And has lots of power. The Hatsan Flash wood stock .22 we have sent back. The action was a disaster. It would not inject the pellets. It flattened them out and pushed them off to one side, the first ten rounds. Then it quit functioning all together.

    Things I liked:

Wow. Once this gun is sighted in, headshots on rabbits are A SURE THING! Have taken quite a few at 40 yds. Anything closer than that feels like cheating. Also with infrared scope have dropped racoons with precise headshots too.

    Things I would have changed:

Bolt action could be a bit smoother, and would like feature to stop from loading more than one pellet.

    What others should know:

This is an awsome gun. Great for plinking but definitely deadly on small game. Loving it!!!!!

Solid heavy rifle, steady for precision shooting.

    Things I would have changed:

An 800 # for customer service that doesn't go through a maze of DOZENS of other products they want to sell: healthcare, insurance, etc, etc!

    What others should know:

Original rifle delivered would not hold a charge, cylinder leaked. Pyramidair provided a shipping label for return and replaced the rifle within 2 days with one they actually tested before sending. Good customer service!

    Things I liked:

The size and balance are great for offhand or the bench. Trigger was pretty decent right out of the box; adjustments to follow. Tried the mags and once loaded, they worked very well. I was quite pleased that no cheap scope was bundled with this rifle, I hate throwing away money for no good reason. Shot well with the usual .22 pellets and the 22 grain FX Hybrid slugs.

    Things I would have changed:

The single shot tray is a bit of stretch to use with scope mounted, definitely not for use in the field so equipped. I'm not "jazzed" with the tiny plug for the probe hole; that part does not look to be long for this world, I hope they sell those as extra parts. The cocking pressure is a bit much and its easy to short stroke the mechanism, I recommend breaking in the gun with the single shot tray until things become second nature.

    What others should know:

This Hatsan Flash .22 is relatively easy to pump up with a hand pump, even an old out of shape guy can get it done without vapor locking. I mounted a Hawke 3-9x50 SFP Mil Dot scope and love it for this platform. As one ages, light becomes more important for a good sighting experience, and this scope does not disappoint. I've shot all of my life, but this is my first adventure into PCP and so far I'm happy with this rifle and Pyramyd Air's service. It took a couple of tries to get all the right bits and pieces together, but now its all working and my knowledge of this discipline is on the rise.

    What others should know:

Mine is in 177. Shoots crosman ultra mags very well at lower pressures. May want to try even heavier pellets however as this is a powerful airgun

    Things I liked:

Accuracy....this thing is spot on! Looks...every buddy I show this to really like it. Sighting the scope in...just too easy. Did I mention accuracy! Refilling the tank. This was something as a completely new shooter of PCP rifles...I was a little uneasy about. I should not have been. Takes less than a minute per fill.

    Things I would have changed:

Cocking. Pretty stiff but hoping it will get easier with more shots through it. Magazine slide. Needs some kind of stop once it gets in the right spot.

    What others should know:

Have hunted my whole life and at 60 I get a pellet gun and wish I had this years ago! The Hatsan Flash QE Wood is my first PCP and the accuracy of this is amazing. I bought it for grackle control. The FIRST shot I take after sighting the scope in is at a grackle at 85 yds...done deal! The four of us just stood there and could not believe what we just saw. The next morning I set it up on the shooting bench (aka picnic table) put it in my lead sled and started plinking at 70 yds at targets. I had purchased 3 single types of pellets and a assorted tin of pellets. This gave me 7 to see which ones worked best. So far for me the JSB Jumbo Heavy Diabolo 18.13 were the most accurate and held the tightest group. I know there are lots of more expensive guns...but this thing is deadly accurate and looks awesome!

    Things I liked:

WOW! ok this is my first PCP rifle so i was hesitant about getting one so i went with this one and i was blown away! I got the .25 CAL in wood, first off it is powerful and very accurate, when using Air arms .25 CAL 25.4gr Diabolo Field pellets i was putting 10 for 10 through the same hole time and time again, then I took out a ground out at 25 yards first shot an hour later I took a grey squirrel out at 41 yards from a tree and he fell like a coconut to the ground without changing my POI. I recommend this gun with a UTG 3x9 hunter scope and high ring mounts.

    Things I would have changed:

Just like everyone else..the rotary mags are kinda cheep they don't like Poly Mag pellets for some reason but they do like Air arms .25 CAL 25.4gr Diabolo Field pellets so does the gun.

    What others should know:

The bolt action was a little tight for about the first 150 shots then it started to really smooth out, the trigger I found was splendid from the factory and i wont touch the adjustments, Just my opinion.I purchased the Nomad-II compressor as well and performs very well for filling this gun up about 3 minutes to fill from 100 bar to 200 bar. If you are thinking of trying a PCP rifle I would highly recommend going this route, the gun is light even with the scope so it shoulders well.

    Things I liked:

Very pretty wood, more durable than the wood in my flashpup. Which has several scratches already. Hawke scope on it looks really good too.

    Things I would have changed:

On this gun so far I haven't found anything.

    What others should know:

This flash cycles a lot smoother than my other three which are synthetic. It's also quieter than my flash 25. Which in theory is an identical engine and baffles. For all the people having problems with Hatsan stick it out ! Pound-for-pound they make a good product. I've had to Chuck a few, I've had some surprises, I've had some failures, but dollar-for-dollar they're better than anyone.

Good power, wood stock really dresses it up compared to synthetic. Good value.

    Things I would have changed:

Just charge me $20 more for a decent magazine. These are plastic trash, dont fit tightly, one I received has a broken spring already.

    What others should know:

QE technology at least on this model doesn't do much . I would rate the report a solid 3 medium . Own three PCPs and this is the loudest . Working with tko to hush it up but you cannot simply screw on a can with the flared barrel.

    Things I liked:

The wood is lightweight and beautiful. The gun's fit and finish is really very good. Accuracy is a tack driver, I am very pleased. And it is quiet. I wanted a backyard gun and this will certainly fit the bill. My previous break barrel in .177 was loud and had a lot of muzzle jump. This has absolutely no recoil and it sounds like a "plink", not a gun. After several shots I used a chronograph and was averaging 940 fps constantly. This is a keeper!

    Things I would have changed:

So far nothing. I've had no more than about 50 rounds through it and I've had zero malfunctions. Magazine feed needs getting used to, but it has performed without issue

    What others should know:

you'll need scope mounts that are a minimum .7" high. .55 did not clear the magazine.

I like the wood and how balanced the gun is. I like QE moderator built into the gun. The gun is very accurate once zeroed in.I am able to shoot a couple of different pellets thru the gun. I really like the picatinny rail which easily fits mt bipod. I love that its a .25 cal.

    What others should know:

This is a great gun that can be used for hunting, pesting or target shooting with no problems.

    Things I liked:

.25 cal. , it's looks , very light weight and easy air filling .

    Things I would have changed:

picatinny rail on the forearm is way to skinny . none of my bipods fit , way to loose - bolt on or tactical . this goes for both guns i had to send back , leaks air and bolt is difficult to pull back into the second stage . so far a huge waist of time and money

    What others should know:

i purchased the .25 cal . sent two back , waiting for my third . first gun , i couldn't pull the bolt back into its second stage without a GREAT deal of effort , very close to breaking the bolt off . second gun , when filling air - the air escapes from the end of barrel , impossible to fill . also the one-shot mag does not fit . all reviews I've read to this point have pertained to .22 cal. , i figured i'd toss one up for a .25 cal. i am willing to give this gun one more shot at the title . if that one is bad , i will never entertain the thought of purchasing another Hatsan . i will do a follow up review when my new gun gets here .* if anybody else can give a honest review of the .25 cal. , i want to hear from you * !!!!!

    Things I would have changed:

Only one thing, get rid of those darn plastic pellet magazines that slip in and make all the rifles with the steel mags. I sent the gun back the next day because of the plastic mag moving around jamming pellets and getting stuck.

    What others should know:

Hatsan makes alsome guns I have the at 44 short for 3 and a half years now and love it never a problem. So I sent the flash back the next day and ordered the AT 44 long in walnut wood stock again in 177 that's all we can get here in IL. I was lucky to get one there fading this model out and there getting hard to get I don't know why such great guns. Now I can swap out my mags between both of my guns and never a problem jamming or dubbed feeding, also like that there locked in with the brass center pin it's not going no were.
