Things I liked:

The power, with proper charge time, this thing is a beast. Its made of metal with sturdy plastic forearm and rubber grip. Mine uses just about any M4/M16 mag I can put in it. With .2gram/420-430fps. and thats 4 hours out of the box after purchase. This is an all around rifle, I can put a 4x34 scope for outdoor battles or really bring the pain in CQB, it came with two very sturdy 300rd mags, not to mention the overall look is quite unique. The price, value and power for a rifle like this out of the box. No real upgrades needed, except a battery upgrade. I paid almost $100 more for the same rifle elsewhere, so for $230 this is a bargain,

Things I would have changed:

The rate of fire in full auto seems weak, but made up for in power. Thats it.

What others should know:

The directions I recieved were not very detailed, so I called customer support at Cybergun, they were very nice and gave me all the info I needed to get the highest level of performance from my rifle. BUY THIS RIFLE!

Things I would have changed:

What others should know:

I had the gun less than 24 hours and it cut out. I only shot it 12 times. I learned my lesion is to not buy cyberguns products anymore my friends warned me that is wasn't a good buy and I went ahead and bought it and look what happened.

    Things I liked:

Sexy weapon and not another m4.(gag choke gasp/ real world bias lol) . very solid feel and heft, balance and movement simulates the real steel closely. Individual components are pretty decent. Fun to shoot, grandkids all want it when back 40 battleing even though it's much to hefty for them. Rail system is great for optioning looks. Accuracy is great when hop behaves. A little patience and basic technical skill you can have a sweet not everyone running one toy, ( the sig logos and serial numbers really are worth it.) without the sig license I'd say it's price point should be more lancer tac competitive. Probably paying 50 plus for licensing .

    Things I would have changed:

Hop needs a lock tab it backs off rapidly. Hand grip mounting is wobbly regardless what you do. Finally zip tied the snot out of it. Though the recessed sight has cool factor it is very vulnerable to damages front could use wind age option but nice set up. Better q.c. Required got lucky mine is a king arms but even it needed to be D.C.R. Internals polished and all fasteners torqued and loctited. Old army buddy bought the same unit but it is the jing pong or whatever. It is alright but demands massive TLC before it's truly battle ready. I can't ding either company's weapon. Some very good parts in them but the assembly leaves a lot to be desired. Upgrade your wiring immediately the stock wiring is barely adequate for a 7.2. Bottom line tear it down tighten everything up polish the chamber and barrel shim the hop adj, upgrade the wiring add a full mosfet, get 11.1 in a peq and it comes alive. A higher quality barrel and hop and youllhave a heck of a good dmr platform.

    What others should know:

This review comes from a 52 year old 23/retired sw/sd ranger, and long time hobby softer pre tm. Looks dept it will convince the unwashed that it's the real steel, heft and handling it is truly close to the real steel, sigs were my loadout wep/of choice. Real world. Except for sloppy assembly low medium quality barrel and quirky hop hold it is a darned decent plastic thrower. BE WARNED THIS THING IS A TANK. Just as the real steel it has serious heft and is nose heavy. Also if you stay with the stock battery or the stock position for upgrade battery it can be a hassle swapping them and in stock form you can very easily crush your wires. Double check upon receipt, my hot was totaly routed wrong and was pinched right out of the box. With the stock 8.4 it chugs like the big pig (m60). Fet it and go 11.1 lipo and it will toss plastic like a real steel scorpion. If you can follow an instructional video or tech write up you can turn this little lovely into a game dominateing DMR.

Full metal construction, 2 mags with built in mag couplers, ambidextrious saftey, and flip up rear sight.

    Things I would have changed:

battery placement and the pin that holds the hand rails in is two pieces not solid

    What others should know:

be carefull with wires and tabs when reinserting the battery and hand rails

    Things I liked:

sturdy;outerbarrel, stock, pistol grip. The whole thing just feels good like to wont fall apart.

    Things I would have changed:

The sights they are basically useless. the hop up unit.the forgrip I wish it would be metal or have better tolerances.

    What others should know:

all the threads are glued. the whole hop-up is custom. has a version 3 gearbox. you CANNOT remove the gearbox without splitting the bottom reciever apart!!! or bending the cheap metal body which you can do with your hands easily. I repair airsoft guns for a group of ten people ive taken apart at least a dozen different AEGs and this one by far is the worst to take apart and get back together its pretty much impossible. most of the internal parts are cheap and non-replacable. the insides of the gear box are ok if you were to upgrade it it would just be better to get a whole upgraded gearbox and installing that. motor is a piece of junk.im not trying to just talk smack about this gun im just trying to stop people from wasting money on this gun like I did. you can buy a lot better gun for the same price or less.thank you cybergun for proving all my airsoft buddies that you make bad guns. oh the threades if you manage to get the flash hider off they are 14mm.

    What others should know:

WELL WORTH 250. BUY A 1600 STICK BATTERY FOR IT.

    Things I liked:

I purchased a simple 1x40 red-dot scope for this gun, and let me just say that it shoots very accurately at a good medium to mid-long range. The BBs tend to curve a bit sooner than most other guns, but they always shoot on target. The rate of fire is pretty decent, but I would recommend an upgraded battery to go with it. It comes with two clips and a clamp, which is nice, so you're not as constrained on ammo, but in my experience with it, it's much more effective on semi-automatic anyway.

    Things I would have changed:

The clips are made of a nice durable plastic, but they have a rather small feeding reservoir compared to an AK or an M4/M16, so a bigger reservoir would be nice. Also, make the front sight removable for those of us who like to use red dots.

    What others should know:

The trigger is very sensitive. If you don't pull the trigger all the way, the gearbox sort of stops up without firing the round, so you might accidentally double fire.

    Things I liked:

This rifle is a beast.Let me start by saying I love the way this thing looks and feels. It is HEAVY but balanced well and I have no problems tracking through the brush carrying it. Out of the box, mine shot 380fps with .20 BBs and the accuracy/range was great.I have man sized silhouettes at 125 Ft and hit them 95% of the time. Also have 2 litre soda bottles at 75 ft and I hit them 90% of the time. I did, however, decide to upgrade the barrel and bucking with a Prometheus 6.01 barrel and Systema bucking.I must say, taking this gun apart is not a feat to be taken lightly. You must remove the motor from the hand grip and then remove the hand grip.Remove 2 screws on the lower in front of the stock (one on each side).Remember witch side you took each screw from and replace them properly.Take care not to strip the threads like I did on one side. Then you must remove the outer barrel housing (2 screws on each side on the forward upper).Slide the housing off the inner barrel then separate the upper and lower CAREFULLY.I did not even attempt to separate the hop-up unit being that I would have to remove so many other components to do so.I did have access to the parts of the hop-up that I needed to address. After replacing the new barrel and bucking (and re-threading a hole I stripped) this gun shot 400 fps consistently and I can have the range and accuracy rivaling my sniper (L96) with.25 BBs.I also put on a 4X red dot scope with a riser. This gun is a freaking monster now.

    Things I would have changed:

Re-design it to be more easily upgradeable Easier battery placement

    Things I liked:

This is a great gun. It was my first gun and I would not buy another one for the price. It has a great FPS, great accuracy, and a great feel to it. It is a little heavy, but you get used to this pretty fast. In all honesty, you could attach a scope and use it as a sniper if you wanted.

    Things I would have changed:

The battery is a pain to get in and out. The designers didn't really plan the storage area for the battery very well. Other than that, its a fantastic gun.

    What others should know:

I would definitely invest in a red dot sight and a strap. The gun itself doesn't come with either of them, and it works and looks so much better with the two.

    Things I liked:

I got this gun about a month ago and i have skirmished with it almost everyday. and not one tini scratch on it. This gun is DURABLE!!! The rate of fire on this bad boy is 850 bbs a minute that comes out to about 14.7 bbs a second!!!!!!! the power is amazing. and there are sooooooo many places where you can add stuff.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have added a hand grip to the gun. The price of an extra magazine

    What others should know:

It says it comes with 2x 400 round mags and it comes with 2x 300 round mags. It says that its power is 467fps but its really 413 on average!!!!!

    Things I liked:

Realistic look. Very, very, very accurate. it lacks the fire rate of a sub-machine gun, but the accuracy destroys a sub-machine gun. so i would take this over a smg any day. its heavy, my friends don't like the heaviness but i like it. besides, its made to be heavy. when you buy a ful metal gun like this you get very good durability, though "metal" happens to be quite heavy. Amazing gun overall.

    Things I would have changed:

The battery is rather hard to put in and take out. you have to take apart the whole front of the gun which is tough to put back together.

    What others should know:

ITS HEAVY (eight and a half pounds) Buy this gun.

    Things I liked:

Son loves it. Friends are jealous during their AirSoft wars -- than is when they aren't hiding or stinging from hits from this gone. Agree with other reviewer that battery life is excellent and with .20gm bb's, this thing rocks. Son added a front handle and says that his accuracy is much improved. Big thumbs up from him on my gun selection.

    What others should know:

This sucker stings when it hits you at 50-75ft. Suggest users wear full face protection that includes some sort of neck protection.
