I would highly recommend this gun for anyone, either experienced or not. I've had this gun for 5 years now and the most that's happened to is a SMALL crack in the orange part of the muzzle, and the bolt handle broke last month. VERY durable and accurate. Without an upgrade you can easily peg a human sized target from 100-120 feet making it great for backyard sniping. If you plan to go take it up a notch I would get the master sniper upgrade kit, usually only around $30-$40. With that you can make shots up to 300". Without upgrade I would use .20 gram BBs, with I would use .30 gram BBs. Best gun I've had in the 8 years I've played.

I like the pistol grip style of other rifles, but over all I wouldn't change much at all. The exception possibly being the upgrade which comes with a tight bore barrel, and a better spring and bolt assembly.

This gun is accurate with or without a scope, however if you really want to do some serious sniping, I would get the scope.

This is my first airsoft gun and I cannot believe how realistic, accurate, and fun it is to use! I have absolutely no regrets. It looks and feels so real. I can't get over the fact that this gun can shoot .28 pellets accurately and hit trees easily 150 feet away.

At first I was unsure of what bb's I should get. I bought a pack of .28's and I'm pretty pleased. It's a little tough to hit small targets from far away but big targets are fine. Just ordered .25's and I'm curious as to what results I'm going to get. btw-- anyone know where to buy a good Ghillie?

Ive been using this gun for about a year now and it still shoots like brand new its a great gun

This was a Christmas gift for my son. Having never purchased from Pyramid Air before, I was not sure what to expect. Also, I know nothing about sniper rifles. The sniper arrived in just 2 days - lightening fast shipping! Upon opening it, my son fell in love! The quality of the gun is impressive and the scope is amazing. Don't know enough about sniper rifles to change anything. Wish it had been camo, but black is fine!

I would feel confident in saying that you will be pleased with any order from Pyramid Air.

The gun is well built and very solid. many of the components are metal. The safety is quite strong, which is a nice thing to see in an airsoft gun. As well the rifle is very accurate. the $137 i paid for it is more than worth it.

I would do a little more work on the scope mount rail. It's the best i've encountered, but i would have used larger screws to fasten it, or added a precision fit pin, to prevent it from wandering. otherwise, it's an incredible gun.

I've heard many negative things about the bi-pod, and for the life of me, I have no idea what they are talking about. The bi-pod is excellent. I might not put it on my 30-06 hunting rifle, but that's a whole different ball game. for airsoft it's more than adequate. as far as the rifles accuracy; it's incredible. i can hit soda cans fairly reliably, 50 yards out, with .43 gram BBs. It doesn't do quite as well in the wind, but that's to be expected. i am confident that with the right ammo weight, this would be more than effective against man sized targets at the stated 220'

The things I liked about this gun is the ALL METAL 4*32 scope (The glass in terior is obviously not metal).The specifications they made on this product are very accurate.For example they said the velocity of the gun was 450-460 FPS.I chronographed it at 455.Another specification was the weight.They said it weighed over 9 Lbs. With all accessories it weighed 9.5 Lbs.You wouldnt guess this but the tactical sling included is pretty high quality and has the UTG trademark symbol printed on the sling.Another prosperous gain on buying this gun is that it includes two magazines.The bi-pod is moderate quality but is still functional and can help in zeroing a target.The length of the gun is 42 inches without the attachable three butt plates that are included in the gun package.This the best airsoft gun I owned under 150 dollars.The stock is made of ABS plastic that is very strong and durable.Anything else that I didn't mention I probably liked as well and you will too.

The accuracy is definitely lacking, I would say this is a good medium range sniper rifle. But with some upgrades, it has the potential to reach out to a good distance.

I would be really careful with the bi-pod on this gun. I was using it out in the woods when I looked down and it was gone. I was not being rough or anything, it is just a but wobbly and will fall off if you are not careful. I still haven't found it...

I can hit a small propane tank from 35+ yards and it is pretty durrable.

Its one of best snipers you can get, if not the best. it is extremely accurate and powerfull with 28s and is a really nice quality. And it looks really awesome!

i would change that the paint didnt chip so easily around the trigger (thats the only place it chips) , but i found a trick that if you just color the chipped part with sharpy it looks brand new. also most people say the bipod is to loose, but to fix it you just have to get a screw driver and tighten it then it will be fine.

if you are thinking about getting the l96 instead, get this one it is way more accurate and its awesome. With the m324 i have 101 kills. if you are wondering what kind of BBs to use, use .28s because it is pin point accuracy and it is still super powerfull. On the stock of your gun it is fun toget a sharpy and put a tally for every kill you get.

It is super acurate and durable.

the sling isnt very nice

use .28BBs because anything lower curves GET IT . My friend has a l96 and i get way more kills than him

Its easy to cock and its got a good feel to it. It was also a good price. Makes a really cool sound when it shoots.

Its a bit heavy with the bipod but i never use it (Theres really no need). Inacurate until you adjust the scope.

Freakin awesome. If you get it and use .20g bbs turn the hop up to normal and adjust the scope by screwing off the dial things. Great for beginner - pro airsofters.

This weapon is amazing i am a hunter and shooter that wanted a way to practice shooting without the hastle of taking a real rifle to a range and this rifle did it. Its heavy sturdy accurate and looks awesome. I am able to hit a chest size target at 175 feet wth ease. Also the adjustable hop-up that is outside the rifle makes adjusting a pleasure not a hastle.

The only things i would change is mag cap a little higher and the front scope cover be alittle tighter.

If u r an experienced airsofter or just a beginner i would suggest this gun over any other. Even the more popular utg type 96. (i have one and it sucks it is inaccurate wth 3 different scopes .30 gram bbs and it has broken twice) Use .28 bbs or higher wth weapon.

This gun is amazing. It is dead accurate and hits hard. The bolt is nice and easy to pull back and cock. this gun is an excellent sniper rifle.

the mag cap is low, but it comes with two. at first it is hard to take out of the gun but eventually it comes out easily. The bipod makes the front heavy so its hard to shoot standing. To cock the easiest put the gun up like your shooting something then cock rather then puting it down on the ground or off of your waist it is way easier to do it off of your shoulder.

I love the look and feel of this gun and the bolt-action. It's an awesome experience, and the gun hits HARD It's got a nice weight and it looks incredibly real.

The only problem I encountered with this gun was that tuning the scope down to the 't' took awhile and a lot of guessing, but once it got there, it stayed consistently accurate for a long time

This is an awesome rifle, very worth it's cost. If you're competitively gaming, make sure to have a reliable back-up sidearm. At long range you can destroy the competition, but up close an AEG can decimate you.
