Things I liked:

Awesome begginer rifle. I bought this at walmart brand new and this gun still performs accurately after 2yrs. Accuracy, power and performance!

Things I would have changed:

Multishor

What others should know:

Keep a little silicone oil on moving parts. Use silicone oil only. If you use petrolium based oil you will ruin this gun. I use silicone oil on all my guns even the co2 guns.

Things I liked:

Nice furniture and blueing

Things I would have changed:

The scope is bad! Mine won't hold zero after a few shots! I replaced it! I found a imperfection inside the barrel near the breach a small bump in the casting. I hope it doesn't matter I didn't want to return the gun over that!

What others should know:

I did not know it was made in China! Ruger is made in the US I thought. Disappointed!

    Things I liked:

Quality seems high for the price. Powerful and accurate enough for my backyard pest problem. Relatively quiet.

    Things I would have changed:

Front sight came crooked. Scope is garbage.

    What others should know:

This is my first spring air gun and I currently have over 1,000 pellets through the gun. It is a little picky on what pellets you use but once you find the right combo it is very accurate. Mine likes 15.89 gr from JSB. Even with cheap Crossman pellets I was hitting pop cans at 45 yards every time with open sights. The front sight on mine came canted to the right, luckily the rear sight has enough adjustment to compensate, but barely. Also the scope is garbage. I installed a fixed 4X from Hawke and it has been flawless. I also screwed a picatinny rail to the side of the stock to mount a flashlight. This has been the winning combo for my rat problem! Powerful, accurate, quiet. A few flaws but hey, you cant beat the price!

    Things I liked:

Looks like a real rifle. Don't take me wrong. this is dangerous pellet gun. A little heavy which helps accuracy, Picatinny rail is removable for 20 mm ring bases and mounted on top via small channels (not welded). Put a Vector Optics 4 x 32 instead of the one that came with the rifle and wasted around 50 pellets before a remembered that the scope ring screws that attach to the picatinny were loose, my bad. From there on with Crosman premier piranha 14.3 grains gun was hitting the target with precision. Still needs some adjustments but I will wait for after 200/300 hundred shots. Then may try higher quality pellets. I am a old target shooter and bought this gun for fun till I can go the range safely with my real toys. In my town this guns sell for $189.00 plus taxes. Thanks Pyramid Air, the place to buy. They really work hard to please the buyer. STAY SAFE.

    Things I would have changed:

For the price have no complaints, anybody who wants something better bite the bullet and reach deep in the pocket.

    What others should know:

Very good for plinking. I don't kill for sport. Consider the scope a gift. Did not used it yet as I have some spare scopes and red dot devices. Will test it with one of my 22lr rifles next time I go. Who knows, maybe will test with my AR15 or my Sig 556R 7.62 x 39. Believe me, some cheap scopes can tolerate the recoil of those rifles.

    Things I liked:

Lots of power, looks nice, backyard friendly. This is my first air rifle since I was a teenager in the 80's. I won't comment on the trigger pull as I am not an avid shooter but it seems ok to me. I have put over 500 rounds/pellets through it and it is accurate or at least as accurate as my technique will allow. Seems to be a good choice for getting your feet wet and performs well with heavier pellets. The fiber optic sights work well.

    Things I would have changed:

Sell it without a scope or put a better scope with it. I'm using it with open sites as the included scope lacks adjustment options and fell out of adjustment quickly requiring frequent re-zeroing.

    What others should know:

I enjoy shooting it. I'm just shooting targets in my yard with no plans on hunting with it. I do think it would be fine for squirrel and rabbit as it has good consistent power and is accurate enough with open sights. For the price there is little to complain about. Made in China but also made by Umarex and seems to be well put together.

    Things I liked:

Nice look and very good weight and balance. It can be accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

I changed the scope. Bent the barrel in a vise to get on target. Changed 2 springs in the trigger and smoothed all contact surfaces on the sears. Went from 10lbs pull to less than 2lbs.

    What others should know:

This gun is made in China and it takes some work to get it shooting well. I shot it side by side with my 30 year old RWS 52 and(after the work) this Ruger was more of a pleasure to shoot. Very smooth firing cycle. Getting 680fps with Polymags 16gr.

    Things I liked:

I bought 1 from walmart shoots hard, very sturdy, easy to cock and load, pretty accurate! But!! The barrel is bent to the right causing the rear sight to have to be adjusted all the way to the left , making it hard to shoot , I have to push the cheek rest away from my face to get a clear sight picture!!! Other than that it's a great air rifle to own! Plenty of power to say take out rabbits and such!

    Things I would have changed:

Better QC , atleast shoot the gun for accuracy, and barrel straightness,

First pellet rifle. Haven't used the scope but I've put 500 rounds of alloy pellets through the barrel. My targets are at about 25 yards. Hits hard enough and doesn't make much noise. I'm satisfied with this purchase.

    Things I would have changed:

Sights are plastic not iron and came loose. Maybe the stock is a bit long.

    What others should know:

Manual says not to shoot the felt cleaning pellets because it might mess up the supressor.

    Things I liked:

Over all a well made rifle. The stock is made from quality wood, the checkering is smooth not rough like on some inexpensive rifles, and the finish is a thin satin. For me the trigger pull is just right, and the break barrel effort is equivalent to the 7th pump on an Crossman 8 pump pellet gun. Pellets are easy to load and seat, using JBL Diabolo Exact Jumbo Express 14.3 gram pellets. The accuracy is based on out of the box, off hand, shooting. I shot 20 pellets at a 3" x 5" card stock at 6 yards with no sight adjustments. All 20 shots hit the card but no tight grouping. At 10 yards lets just say this shooter needs more time getting use to shooting this rifle. This is a great rifle for the price and is entry level. Not for the young shooter.

    Things I would have changed:

Leave the poor quality scope out of the package. The plastic sound suppresser needs to be more robust or replaced with a metal one. Change the safety to a manual one. The weight of this rifle sling rings would be helpful.

    What others should know:

This is a great entry level rifle, but not for young shooters due to the cocking effort. This is not an RWS or Beeman so don't compare it to them. I got the ten for ten offer and was worth it. Pyramyd Air shot it using RWS Hobby .22 Cal. 11.9 Grain pellets 1139.93, 807.48, 822.90, 802.98, 812.68,802.50, 800.17, 808.61, 7.89.00, and 782.83 fps. Giving this rifle enough ump for small rodents/pests

    Things I liked:

Out of the box mounted a new $50.00 scope and zeroed in the rifle in 8 shots at 15 yards which is max for my back yard and the main distance I'll be going for iguanas. Has kept target accuracy for over 90 shots, very nice. Like the feel of the wood stocks.

    Things I would have changed:

Drop the scope and drop the price or include a better quality scope for a bit more money. Include a nice sling and mounts. More power :)

    What others should know:

Added stock riser pad to bettet fit my face, now think its near perfect. Using H&N terminator 16.36 gr. Will experiment with lighter and heavier loads.

    Things I liked:

Iron sights are very accurate, easily hitting beer cans at 60yrs. The trigger is crisp and light(screw out to lighten). The stock looks and feels great, good weight. Very quiet, the sound of the piston is about all I hear. Also comes with a decent scope if you can't use iron sights, just remember to torque the clamps correctly or you'll think the scope is junk.

    Things I would have changed:

For the price I wouldn't change a thing. But I would rather the front sight be fixed to the barrel

    What others should know:

It came very greased so I recommend full degrease/cleaning/regrease. The metal used is very soft, take care on disassembly, especially when tapping the 2 small trigger mount pins. I wrote another review for this earlier but left out some important details.

    Things I liked:

Great .22 pellet rifle. Great accuracy and solid build for the price.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope is very cheap. I was impressed at first with it's sleek design and crystal clear optics which worked well for several hundred shots, but the scope mounts began to fail. Shortly thereafter, I went to adjust the up/down knob, and the entire knob assembly broke off with the protective screw cap.

    What others should know:

The gun itself is a good value for the money, but the included scope is basically being given to you for free, hence it is extremely poor quality. Great gun though.

    Things I liked:

Iron sights, beer cans at 30yrds. Stock is nice, scope is nice, smooth trigger(screw out to lighten) easy to cock and load

    Things I would have changed:

For the price, nothing. But I'd take the picatinny rail off and just use tall see through rings. And I'd rather a front sight be attached to the barrel instead of on the end of the baffle.

    What others should know:

Getting the lower trigger mount pins out should be done very delicately. The metal is very soft and bends easily, so don't force anything, light taps. Came heavily greased, except in the trigger group, but I wouldn't even shoot it. So degrease and debur (Piston seal has wear on the bottom). I read a lot of reviews about people reshaping the breech feed port, which is unnecessary because the ramps shape down on the top because you feed it down from the top; unless the air feed port isnt aligned, then reshape might be beneficial. No modifications are necessary, this gun is perfect for this price

    Things I would have changed:

Better quality parts. Have had it 2 years and something is loose on the inside of the barrel. It still shoots strong and straight it just has something that moves around inside the rifle

    What others should know:

Just a very accurate and fun to shoot rifle

    Things I liked:

I like the feel and look of the wooden stock (one reason I chose this rifle) The rifle is a bit heavy which is good/not so good. I know this sounds funny because it's weight makes it feel very durable and strong, but may wear you out it holding it too long. Using the right ammo and sighting it in and I got this to shoot right where I put the crosshairs. The only real error is my shaky holding techniques lol. Trigger pull for me seems fine about as crisp as I ever used.

    Things I would have changed:

Possibly a magazine would make it even faster shooting which may increase the fun factor. The breaking of the barrel is a bit tough at least until you get used to it.

    What others should know:

This rifle is still new to me (under 100 shots) but I would recommend, a great rifle for the price so far. Maybe not for young users because of weight and breaking the barrel.

Once sited in its pretty accurate and Ive only fired about 50 rounds so not even close to broke in. As far as difficulty cocking many people complain its too hard, I have no problem, its not a kids toy so I imagine a younger child would have difficulty. So far Ive enjoyed the rifle.

    Nothing so far
