Things I liked:

Excellent finish...Comes in a nice matte black. Looks like a parkerized finish. All metal design, great weight and feels good in the hand. Slide to frame fit is tight, very little play.

Things I would have changed:

Magazine is plastic...A metal mag might be more durable. Rear sight sits in a dovetail in the slide but is not adjustable. An adjustable rear sight would be nice.

What others should know:

Accuracy was good. Fifteen out of twenty-six rounds in a 2" circle at 30 feet (two hand hold, rapid fire). If you're a fan of the 1911 pistol, you'll enjoy this one! I got 70 good shots out of a single Crosman 12 gram co2 cartridge.

Things I liked:

It was good while it lasted. Nice replica of a 1911 platform handgun, good for training. However, the trigger gave out after a few thousand shots. Granted, I did dry fire practice with it a lot. Between dry firing and shooting I probably got 5 to 6 thousand trigger pulls out of it.

Things I would have changed:

It just didn't last as long as I would have liked.

    Things I liked:

Good heft and balance, about the same weight as my 9mm empty. Looks good with the classic 1911 styling. I like the easy c02 load just by pushing up on the lever. Easy to unload the spent co2 by pulling the lever and pushing the button to the side and the co2 just drops out. Not sure why peeps be complaining about the co2 load and unload other than they don't know how to do it. I like that the mags are plastic too because it keeps the price down to just $5 each. And since the mags are inside the gun the only time you see them is when reloading. If metal it would ad $15 or more the gun or for extras. Lots of guns have abandoned metal mags for light weight and cheaper polymer/plastic mags. So far probably 4000 or more rounds through it with no issues. Pretty powerful enough to punch in and out of a Campbells soup can at 15 or 20 feet. I like this better than the competition like Tanfanglio witness because its more powerful.

    Things I would have changed:

The weakest point is the way the grips look. But thats an easy fix because painted mine with a custom look that now looks good. When I get tired of the look I will paint them again with a different look.

    What others should know:

All I can say in my opinion this is the best performing fps 1911 out there.

    Things I liked:

This gun is really fun to shoot. I own several air guns but usually pick this one up first, and have a hard time putting it down

    Things I would have changed:

The way the co2 loads is not very easy. I can do it pretty easy now but took a little time to figure it out without loosing the charge on the co2. The pistol is not a rifled barrel, so it is not very accurate. I have to stand pretty close about 12 to 15 feet to have a good pattern.

    What others should know:

The easiest way to load the clip is hold clip over a small cardboard box, I use the box the gun comes in and feed lots of bbs toward the hole 25% will go in the clip and you can load this way pretty fast.

    Things I would have changed:

make the grip safety actually work

    What others should know:

I have had three of these now, you get 6000 to 9000 shots and then the trigger mechanism breaks. Other wise a good value, and reasonably accurate, fun to shoot.

    Things I liked:

it's not exactly the same as shooting a real 1911, but it great for muscle memory. Fun to shoot, pretty accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

Not crazy about the way the left hand grip attaches over the CO2 cylinder, concerned about it holding up over time. We'll see.

    What others should know:

A friend of mine who shoots 1911's came over & saw it. He put 4 mags thru it in short order & didn't want to put it down. Make sure you buy at least 3 or 4 extra mags because you are going to have too much fun to stop & reload if using just 1.

    Things I liked:

This looks and feels like a 1911. This was I think the second blowback pistol I bought (back when) and I've never been disappointed by it. I rate it a 4 because I have found a couple of guns that are better and thus (for me anyway) that puts them at least a star up. that said there's very little not to like here.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much. The slide works well, it has a nice heavy feel. I do wish the grip looked better. The plastic looks a little cheap. I keep thinking of replacing them.

    What others should know:

Fun gun. I think you'll like it.

    Things I liked:

Ease of controls and the blow back action. What would have been the mainspring housing is the closure for the CO2 and once open the left grip panel pops open to replace cartridges.

    Things I would have changed:

Just closing the latch to activate the CO2 is convenient, however it'd be nice to have some sort of adjustment to account for differing lengths of CO2 manufacturers lengths.

    What others should know:

Any sort of holster especially the nylon cheap type, the slide will have to be held tightly when reholstering in order to keep it from being driven too far back.

THE WEIGHT AND FEEL, BALANCE AND MUZZLE VELOCITY

    Things I would have changed:

FIRST THING THAT COMES TO MIND IS THE THUMB SAFETY, YOU HAVE TO PUSH IN A LITTLE BUTTON BEFORE IT CAN BE UNLOCKED....CAN'T REALISTICALLY CARRY IN C-1 OR "COCKED AND LOCKED"

Good balance, Reliable (no jamming), accurate, blowback. Despite some other opinions I thought the two finger safety was a good idea.

    Things I would have changed:

    Adjustable rear sight.

    What others should know:

I fired 3,500+ rounds over a 15 month period with few problems. Finally the valve became stuck, but I believe that I received my money's worth! You should get appro 80 shots per cartridge.

    Things I liked:

I almost didn't buy this piece, as the photo depicted almost "orange" grips. They are really a warm brown (more realistic). The double hinge, roller cam action cartridge securing action takes some getting used to. But is very effective as it emits no leakage, and will not over tighten the cartridge. Some have panned the plastic magazine, but it's very effective. It's shrouded for strength and has a unique magnate at the feeding end. This eliminates loose BBs and double feeds. The weight and feel is outstanding. After approx. 400 rounds, I have had no mechanical problems. It's a keeper.

    Things I would have changed:

I expected to have some writing on the slide and frame but didn't anticipate a James Michener novel. There is even a loading sequence on the right side. The left side identifies "slide release" and the "clip (sic) release". Not necessary, plus it's a magazine, not a clip. Get rid of the writing. The rear sight appears to be dovetailed in for adjustment, but it's solid... Make it adjustable. I cannot understand the weird push button safety latch. You must push a small button on the latch plate to put the pistol in firing mode. Loose it.

    What others should know:

Love this gun. Not a nail driver but a great plinker. When I first received this piece, it shot 3" high and 2" right. I love a challenge. I fashioned a new front sight from aluminum strap, affixed it JB Weld. The sight is now 1.5 mm taller. I filed the rear sight to the left and pieced in a 1 mm block on the right. It now shoots right on and is capable of 1.5" groups at 20'. I have hit 10 12oz cans in a row (off hand) with no misses. The gun is not as sophisticated as other iterations but the fun factor places it high on my rating. Of course I love tinkering. The value for the jack also places it high.

I like the feel of the Model 11 as well as the fit and finish. The blow-back action is nice.

    What others should know:

The Winchester Model 11 is great for plinking and short-range target shooting. The blow-back is a very nice feature and adds to the fun of shooting this pistol. I get an average of 70 shots per CO2 cartridge. Buy some extra magazines, you'll be glad you did, so you can enjoy more time shooting and less time reloading.

Very impressed with this air gun. Has the look and feel of a great replica with sturdy metal construction. Considerable power and accuracy makes it very fun to use.

    Things I would have changed:

The CO2 canisters are a little to change at first. The double safety is a little odd but not overly problematic and can easily be modified without risk.

    What others should know:

As an inexperienced air gun user, I found this particular gun very easy to use and very enjoyable. It was a great fir air gun to purchase and I'm quite happy with it.

By far the best gun I own. Has a lot of power, very cool looking, extremely accurate and a joy to shoot. Very realistic and extremely cool. Looks just like a 1911 and has the exact feels of the real thing.

    Things I would have changed:

The grips on the gun are made of flimsy plastic. It's he only downfall of a perfect gun. (In my opinion)

    What others should know:

The blowback is great. Feels very real and kicks like the real thing. It has great power and is really accurate

    Things I liked:

I love the looks and feel of this gun. It is mostly metal. The blow back feels good. I like the trigger its one of the few 1911 BB pistols that has the correct style trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the magazine out of metal. I can accept the other plastic parts but the magazine just makes me nervous that I am going to break it. Secondly I would like to see the barrel recessed deeper. Being only recessed about 1/4" you can clearly see the .177 barrel and makes it less realistic.

    What others should know:

Great gun for the price. shoots pretty accurately and has better fps than a lot of blow back guns.

    Things I liked:

Feels like the firearm counterpart, recoils almost like a 22 conversion, very accurate .70 inches at 15 feet and 1.5 inches at 15 yards for 5 shots. Easy to change cartridges. Velocity is in the 390 range, but I have hit 400 FPS with a fresh cartridge and first shot after letting it set for aminute or two. It never jams.

    Things I would have changed:

Change safety to a one hand operation, include two or three magazines.

    What others should know:

You can easily modify the safety to function like the firearm safety complete with detent. I carry the M-11 sans magazine in one back pocket and the magazine in the other for safety. It is a very accurate shooter, I just got back from my target range where I was hitting a life size IPSC target at 50 yards off hand with it. Around the house I use it to shoot garden slugs and it has protected me from the slimy slow movers so far.

    Things I liked:

The fun of shooting this! The blowback was intense and caught me by surprise at first compared to my other C02 blowbacks. More accurate than others. Mostely metal.

    Things I would have changed:

It is what it is! And whatever I say won't change it. But it's still a nice C02 pistol. I would first change the way the C02 cartridges install and pierce or give better instructions. I went through two full ones before a single shot before I understood the mechs of it. It's not a defect just a learning curve. Also I agree with every other review on it being a little tuff to get the spent C02 cartridge out. Also the cheap plastic clip that holds the handle cover on. I would have liked to have seen it use a separate clips away from the C02 clip combo all in one. It would have been nice to be able to have multiple clips, without disconnecting the whole Clip/ C02 combo. Now I'm really going out on a limb, but I'd love to see a rifled barrel and be able to shoot pellets. That would be awesome!

    What others should know:

Great fun to shoot. Bigger than expected blowback for me at least. Not crazy but it definitely makes it feel real. Louder than most of my other guns. About near the same volume as the Crosman 2240 or the Crosman 357 type replica. I like this one as far as "action" guns go.

    Things I liked:

This is my favorite blowback pistol... it acts very realistically. Gun is accurate at 10 yds. . I got 4 very good mags from the CO2, a 5th one [the slide started holding back, not going back into battery].

    Things I would have changed:

The front blade sight holds glare and appears "white"--which is a problem if you are shooting at white paper target. Also, this gun shoots accurately enough to benefit from an adjustable sight.

    What others should know:

If you can get the front sight function, you'll have a lot of fun shooting.

    Things I liked:

The weight and balance are very close to the real thing, the sights are better than a stock 1911 and the rear is drift adjustable, just be careful the slide is cast.

    Things I would have changed:

Very difficult to remove spent CO2 and crosman CO2 are very very tight. Grip panel should had metal spring not plastic and color could be better.

    What others should know:

This is a great gun for training when you cant get to the range but it is not accurate. Groups at 7 yds are 3-4 inchs and 6+ at 10 yds, thats the same group I get with my 1911 at 25 yds. Use Daisy BBs, all others are less accurate even Avanti.
