Just got this a week ago locally and for my first ever crossbow after shooting compound over 8 years ago is insane. Only upgrade on it is a parker red hot sight. But barnett has made me a customer for life.

I purchased my bow a year and a half ago. Shot a small buck last year. Problem is the string will stretch over time so the string has to be replaced. Barnett does not even have a replacement string to buy so buyers beware when purchasing a bow. Make sure your final bow has a replacement string to purchase.

First time out with this bow, had it cocked for less than an hour, nice 9 pointer walked out. Grabbed my crossbow to make the shot, while rising it to my shoulder… BAM! The limb broke. So instead of a picture of a nice buck I have a picture of my new broken bow to show.

Light, short, narrow and a pretty good trigger.

Needs all the silencing stuff, its louder than I expected. Scope is not the best. Also the pins that hold the pulleys to the rope cocker will start to back out.

Check the bolt that holds the limbs to the body! It will come loose after some shots(I may blue loctite), shoot at different spots on your target I Robbin hooded it at 30 yds while sighting in (gets expensive) seems like a good bow all around and look forward to hunting this fall!

My first bow of any kind. Fills good and easy to shoot.

Assembly was easy. One Allen head bolt and it was together. This was my first bow so a frien came over and we sighted it in. He has a deer lease and he invited me to hunt. 1 day didn't see nothing. 2nd day I had a doe in the crosshairs. Shot and she ran 65 yard in the brush. Perfect shot. I am so happy with this crossbow. What I love is the AR style butt stock. It will adjust for the whole family. Highly recommend to anyone who want meat in the freezer!

This is my first crossbow I have owned. It was easy to assemble and is very consistent after sighting it in. I bought this 2 days before bow season and shot for a few hours just trying to get a feel for it. Needless to say, it did not let me down. First shot in the woods I dropped a 10 pointer at 60 yards and it only ran 50 yards. Great product!

Rite out of the Box, Easy assembly, Mine came with the cocking device ready to go. Could of had a little better instructions on how to use the cocking device but I figured it out bow hunting for so many years. The adjustable stock is a big plus to have depending on your reach, and makes it fit better like a glove when shooting it. It took 6-8 shots to dial the scope in @ 30 yards on my first line then my second scope line hit perfect @ 50 YARDS leaving me 3 or 4 more additional lines left on my scope if I was to want to shoot farther. As far as the grouping of the arrows this thing you do not want to aim for the exact place if you shoot 2 bolts cause you will split the second bolt this bow repeats every time. This the impact of this crossbow hits the target hard with the 122 K.E. I have hunted for 40+ years any many deer taken, this Crossbow will do anything you need to do for Hunting period it is all you need. Only bad thing I can say about this bow it the arrow rest when locked onto the bow does not leave enough room for your hand. Maybe Barnett will hopefully add some length to it so that its not so tight close to the rail hand grip if the do, it would be nothing more to say other than I wonder how long this crossbow will last me. as of right now it is new with about 40 shoot thru it total. The quality of the crossbow limbs and the body the materials makes it feel like professional grade, I am pleased with my purchase. Durability I left at average as that is still to be foreseen.

Love this crossbow. Would recommend to anyone looking to buy one. Mine needed to be sighted when I bought it. It took me 30mins to dial it in. It's a lethal now.

I've been an avid bowhunter but never a crossbow. Going to be going on a hunting trip this fall and needed to have a reliable crossbow. I had to make sure that either side of the bow is timed! When it's factory put together you have to make sure that you take the bow to a professional dealer to tune the bow before you ever shoot! After every 4 to 5 shots check the strings to make sure they have lubrication on them to prevent breakage or misfire.
