Diana air rifles have a faithful following because of their superior quality. But they didn't rest on their laurels, so they kicked it up a notch by adding their N-TEC gas-piston powerplant! Dianawerk's proprietary German Nitrogen-Piston Technology delivers smooth shooting, dependability and a decrease in cocking effort.

When you pick a scope, go for some top-quality glass. The better the scope, the more accuracy you can extract from your 340 N-TEC Premium Pro Compact air rifle. Use this rifle for hunting and eliminating small pests and critters at close distances. Plinking and shooting bullseye targets are also excellent ways to pass the time with your new air rifle!

Things I liked:

I like about everything about this rifle very accurate one hole groups

Things I would have changed:

The trigger doesn't feel like a true 2 stage to me. The price is a little steep but you have to pay for quality I guess

What others should know:

If your going to be hunting with this rifle it is very heavy other then that it's a great gun

Things I liked:

I loved the looks of the rifle, the stock is beautiful and the overall shape of the gun is very nice to look at, but that is where it ends. Accuracy was good for the fews shots I had.

Things I would have changed:

The shot cycle is violent and the screws come loose in 5 or 6 shots. Scope needs a good mount to stay put. The trigger return spring fell out after 50 shots. Gun is very loud compared to my AA TX200. Cocking the gun is hard and rough. Not a pleasant experience. Cocking arm rattles.

What others should know:

Scope mount is designed for RWS mounts. I thought gas piston guns were suppose to be quiet, but this rendition is anything but. Very loud compared to my springers. Not my cup of tea. The trigger guard screws are come loose from the stock after a fews shots. The T06 trigger is has a long 1st stage and very soft 2nd stage. The guns finish is matte black, not blued. Returning this rifle for a refund.

  • John from USA asked:

Is this a true Theoben rifle? Or perhaps Diana's version of it?

    • R from USA asked:

What SCOPE is good for this rifle

      • Rudedawg from USA answered:

I can only speak for UTG/Leapers as I have a 1" 4-16x50 AO on a 34T06 that has held up really well and still dead on for well over a year now. I just received a 30mm 4-16x44mm AO side adjust for a 340 n-tec premium only because the side adjust is handier to me, both scopes mounted using the UTG Drooper Scope Rail, 11mm-to-Weaver... rail. I was able to use low rings on both also. Imho either scope will do a good job and suggest firing 30-50 rounds thru the new rifle to help it begin to settle in before mounting a scope. The scope will also need a little time to settle in before you get consistent pin point groups. Make sure you use Loc-Tite/Permatex BLUE thread locker on all scope/rail screws and stop pins; even on the rifle's stock/trigger housing screws. Hope this helps, RP
