The well-balanced stock makes it easy to hold and shoot the RWS 34. Quality is evident in other places, too: a two-stage adjustable trigger, fiber optic front and rear (fully adjustable) sights, and a finely rifled barrel. No need to worry about cocking difficulty, as that's where this rifle really shines (just 33 lbs.). It's ideal for plinking, paper targets and spinners. If you're a serious airgunner on a budget, the RWS 34 was made for you!

RWS is known for standing behind their guns, and their warranty has always been viewed as the best in the business.

We've recommended a variety of appropriate pellets, which are listed in the AMMO link. Click on the ACCESSORIES link to find targets, glasses and other shooting gear.

Want to save? Get the RWS 34P with a 4x32mm scope!

The most popular rifle sold by RWS now comes in a black stock made from a durable, all-weather injection-molded synthetic. This German rifle will keep you shooting accurately and powerfully for decades. While it doesn't have some of the frills that more expensive guns have, it goes head-to-head where it really counts!

Things I liked:

This air rifle is, IMO, the best value spring piston breakbarrel rifle at around $200-250. I can consistently shoot groups the size of a dime from 20 yards away. Synthetic stock is well-made, with excellent attention to detail. Cocking effort is easy and break barrel closure is fluid and tight. Fiber optics are bright and clear, and windage and elevation knobs give a precise and tactile click to each rotation. Two stage adjustable trigger was perfect out of the box.

Things I would have changed:

Safety cap should be made of steel, as well as the safety lever. The only other gripes in terms of quality that I found worth mentioning were some inconspicious mold lines down the center of the stock.

What others should know:

Hope for a globe for your front sight, and use a fairly wide flathead screwdriver to adjust the knobs to prevent creating indentations down the slots.

Things I liked:

Love almost everything about this gun. I have owned own for three years now. Materials are of great quality, barrel locks snugly into place, no wobbles anywhere. Accuracy is great, an average of probablly dime sized groups at 20-25 yards. I have used this rifle to hunt squirrel and it has served me well. RWS gives a lifetime limited warranty with the gun as well (never needed it so far :>) -Scope is great as well, solid design. It has little handles to grab onto while sighting the scope so no tools are required.

Things I would have changed:

the fiber sights are not good at all. i couldn't sight them with any pellet i use. I don't mind this though, for i don't use them. I would have liked the 4X32 compact scope to be a fullsize but no big deal

What others should know:

By far the best gun i have shot/ owned so far. i have shot walthers, gamos, a no-name brand gun and i owned a crosman quest 1000x prior to this and it broke but before the gun itself broke the scope that came with it did.

Things I liked:

Real good bluing, nice stock, good positive click adjust sights, GREAT trigger. The scope mount and scope are different then in the picture (better) Now comes with front sight hood. Quality rifle.

Things I would have changed:

Scope mount base on receiver for better locking. Some less over all weight .

What others should know:

Well built gun and best buy IMO.
