The Whisper Deluxe is a sharp-looking, sharp-shooting air rifle that incorporates ND52, a noise-reduction technology that makes it one of the quietest air rifles you can buy (52% quieter!). This spring-piston breakbarrel flings .177 cal PBA Raptor pellets at 1,200 fps (50 rounds included). Lead pellets will deliver about 1,000 fps.

The 3-9x40mm scope has a standard reticle and a 1-piece scope mount. Features include auto-cocking safety, manual trigger safety, two-stage adjustable trigger, fiber optic front/rear sights and ambidextrous stock with twin raised cheekpieces.

Special all-weather stock has checkered inserts in the grip & forearm!

We measured the cocking effort and it was 35 lbs. Gamo lists it at 30 lbs., so it's likely that the cocking effort will diminish as the gun breaks in.

Click the ammo link for suggested pellets and the accessories link for glasses, targets and maintenance gear.

The owner's manual states that the scope is mounted and bore-sighted. It is not.

Things I liked: This gun is very accurate if you buy the right kind of pellets. I have tried many types, but the Beeman 7.2 grain hollow points get the best groups.

Things I would have changed: The adjustable sight is accurate, but comes loose after a while. The scope is OK, but I like the open sights better.

Things I liked: Quieter than regular gamo accurate, easy cocking

Things I would have changed: nothing except the end of the silencer started to come out after 250 rounds, I pushed it back in and shot 100 more and it is srtill in but will watch it. This one is a springer, just got an air ram will review it for comparo when I get it going.

What others should know: Loves Crossman premier HP 8.4 gr. Most accurate pellets out of it yet, killing pigeons from 10-160'. Just changing scope power and hand holding dead center and I do mean dead, over 100 and counting and shot range varies from shot to shot.

Things I liked: light & quiet, good fit

Things I would have changed: raise scope and make it so you can use both open and scope sights. Trigger sucks

What others should know: Picky eater, best groups so far by far with Gamo Pro Magnum pellets. GTR III trigger makes this a great gun
