I like the heavyness of the rifle for providing steady aim with the added weight. The accuracy and power are wonderful. With the Predator Polymag I shot 1/2" group when sighting in the scope. A soda can filled with water exploded when hit by the 22 pellet from the rife and 1/4" plywood was no match for the pellets.
Things I would have changed:Sling swivels would be nice since caring the rifle around without them would get heavy in the hands.
What others should know:When you get the rifle make sure all the screws are checked for tightness. They needed to be snugged up on the rifle I purchased.

Things I liked:I have owned the .177 cal version for almost a year now and it is everything I was looking for in a break barrel in this price range. Its dead on accrurate after its been broken in and sighted properly with a experienced shooter. I like it more than my Gamo Shadow. It makes birds explode just like in the cartoons and will take out a 8- 10 lb racoon with one shot @ 50yds. I liked it so much I just purchased the .22 cal version and decided to upgrade the triggers on both with the GRT-III trigger for better groups. I am still breaking in the .22 cal and I am sure it will be just as good as the .177 cal with more stopping power for bigger game. The high quality scope, wooden stock, and power of these air guns makes a great value for the money.
Things I would have changed:needs a better access point to properly oil the air chamber and seals. I use a small plastic syringe with a 2 inch curved plastic needle that you can get at your local auto parts store or wally world, to get the oil down into the air chamber and seals where its needed. Trying to get the oil in there per the instructions proves difficult.
A better quanlity true 2 stage trigger would be nice.
What others should know:This gun is not for kids or anyone who has trouble carrying any weight. Its a heavy weight and long, So it takes some upper body strength to cock it, and carry it around and shoot it for long periods. Read the specs before you buy it. That way you will know what your getting and you won't be dissappointed.

What others should know:This gun has kick backbelieve it or not. My friend shot the gun and did not expet kick back and the scope busted his fore head. it is also very heavy it weighs 8.5 pounds and the cocking force is about 30 pounds. This not a gun for small kid

What others should know:Long heavy gun, shorter folks and not too strong will have a hard time cocking it. Trigger is bad and the adjustment is useless but you can get used to it if you shoot a lot or maybe an upgrade if you want to spend a little more.

Things I would have changed:The triger,,this has been beaten to death;) I'm going to install the aftermarket GTX-III. Hey we get what we pay for, no?
What others should know:I have several other air guns. My 23 year old FWB-124 is in the shop for a new piston; sooo I wanted to see what the Chinese had to offer.
If weight was a plus, this 10 pounder would rate 5 stars. After cleaning the barrel and tightening the screws, my first shot hit 1024 FPS on my Crony. After the smoke cleared the second was 750 then the third was 850. It took about 15 shots to get the Dieseling to quit but sounded awesome...a hybrid fuel-air rifle ;) All shooting using 14.3 grain Benjamin hollow points.
As stated, I'm on second rifle and happy to report scope and barrel lock much better. This rifle is a bear to shoot standing. Until I get new trigger, nothing smaller than rabbit will be attempted off rest at 20 meters. My 124 and Benjamin 392 are far easier to hit without using a bipod. Anyway, my next free day(s) will be spent trying to get this mule to shoot the way I want.

Things I would have changed:put a metal trigger guard on it, make it ALOT easier to open the breech. i've fired at least 150 rounds since i got it on christmas and i still have to break the gun over my knee to open the breech. the recoil is so substantial and there is so much vibration that getting good groups is a bit of a chore
What others should know:the trigger really is not as horrible as other folks have stated. sure it is a little stiff, but im sure after a few thousand rounds it will be more than adequate. this gun was definately designed for hunters rather than competitive target shooters. in .22, it can really carry the power downrange into the target. squirrels don't stand a chance. i think animals as large as raccoons would be fair game with this in .22. Mine seems to prefer benjamin discovery hollowpoints to rws superpoints. crosman premier hollowpoints and crow-magnums are great too. i think this gun will really deliver the goods once i can get some of thoseJSB predators. anyway. if you want a great magnum springer for only 300 with some great features then just buy this. you won't regret it

What others should know:i got the .22 caliber super streak for christmas and sighted it in today with the predator polymag pellets at 60 yards. it took me about 10 minutes to zero in to the point where i hit a quarter-sized circle five times in a row. then i set up an apple at 50 yards and blew it to pieces with one shot. this gun is very powerful and consistent. it is the best air rifle i have ever used

Things I would have changed:Trigger is awful, seem like all screws have to be tightened after every 50 pellets. I could not get close to the accuracy of my RWS side cocker with any pellet I tried. Why Gamo ever made those Raptors was probably an inside joke. You would be more accurate throwing a ping pong ball at a hyperactive chipmounk that was twenty yards away.
What others should know:I was told it would get "better" after a few thousand pellets. I don't have the patience. Since buying the "Stupid Streak" I bought an Air Arms TX200 MK III through Pyramid. My advice, save your money, pay twice as much for the TX and get four times the value in comparison. I'll probably end up giving the Sheridan to a nephew that I'm not overly fond of, he won't know the difference. After saying that I had a twinge of guilt. I'll leave him the TX in my will. My son gets my Airforce Talon SS and my Talon. He values accuracy as much as I.[He was on the Princeton rifle team].

Things I liked:It looks beautiful, all my friends liked it, the wood is well finished. Very, vey powerfull, I own it on .22 caliber and have killed an opossum with a well placed shot on its head. Ruber butt plate. The Scope Is great too. It comes with a nice rubber pouch to carry ammo and with 50 lead free-high speed pellets (this pellets dont seem to be available at stores yet, anyways they are too light for such a powerfull gun and they wont groop good enough).
Things I would have changed:The trigger: I don't like the plastic trigger guard although some people I've shown my gun to have told me that it is OK for them and even that fireguns are coming that way now. The trigger itself , it is too stiff, although it has improoved with usage and also by adjsting the second stage (turning the screw to make it shorter). The screws at the forearm get loose all the time and the wood fells loose from the metal (barrel and chamber) because of this, i tighted them but then without noticing it the wood got hurt a little on the inside (sorry, it is a little hard for me to make me understand since my native language is spanish, but beware if tightening the front screws).
What others should know:It catches rust very easy so beware that you have to clean it after every use, it would catch rust from fingerprints, mabe the nickel finished one does not have this problem but this option is not abailable for .22 cal and anyways I like the black barrel better.
This gun needs chamber silicone oil to mantain it so i reccomend you to get a tube of the crosman RMCOIL.
This gun has worked very well with the benjamin discovery .22 pellets so i reccomend them specially for the price.
Shoot safely, this thing is dangerous.
The gun measures over 51" (not 49.75 as stated) so if you want to get a case for it make sure it is long enough, I haven't been able to get a case that fits it here in Ecuador, where I live.
I've own it for 2 months allready and I very happy with it after all.

Things I would have changed:I would have liked a better trigger. When it first came out of the box the trigger was just terrible. But after i adjusted it it got better, it still has alot of creep but not as much.
What others should know:Things you should know are when you get the gun make sure all of the screws on the scope are tight. Also the gun isnt as hard to cock as others say it is. I am 14 and i have no trouble cocking it or holding it. But the gun is a beast its very long and heavy. If you are older than 12 or 13 you will have no problem carrying it.

What others should know:made in china, bummer , I was very unhappy that Benjamin would do this , and the first one I got had a bent screw, returned it and got a good one , made the best of what you can

What others should know:Wow this thing is fantastic, supersonic . I am using 10.5 grain crosman pellets and at 100 yards I can hit and explode a soda can full of water ! my CFX by gamo will hit the can but I have to aim high . Not this thing aim and hit it . Its really cool to see the can burst open. I don't use the lightweight supersonic pellets they sent with it, however it is just too cool to put one in it and let your friends hear the supersonic crack. This is really fun to shoot, however the noise is a little loud. No spring twang on mine. When it pushes out the pellet you actually feel the power, and quality... It does take a little effort to cock it . the factory trigger was so hard to pull it honestly wore a blister on my finger in less than 300 shots. I took a chance and ordered the Gamo aftermarket trigger and now this is a sweet shooter at any distance... ig it had a decent trigger I would have said it is perfect ! Also my scope was bad out of the box, pyramyd air sent me to Crosman. Crosman sent me a pickup U.P.S. tag and then sent me another scope almost immediately. Now thats service! It didn't even cost me postage... Thank you Crosman!

Things I liked: Wow, nice looking gun. This one will make your buddies week in the knees. The SS in .22 I received was perfect both metal and wood. The Center Point scope of course is top notch although the lighted cross hair is something I will probably never use it is sorta cool. The mil-dots however are a very nice touch.
Out of the box velocities as follows. Beeman H&N Match, 887 fps. Beeman Crow Mag 783 fps, Crossman Competition 875 fps and the Lead Free Benjamin pellets that came with the gun came out at a whopping 1163 fps. These were all 10 shot averages. I am impressed at how tight velocities actually were. 6 fps was the max spread in all 10 shot test groups with the exception of the Lead Free Benjamin where the 10 shot spread was over 100 fps. At this point I am still evaluating accuracy but it looks like the heavy Beeman Crow Mags are the only pellet I have tried that will group consistently. The lead Free (1163 fps) pellets should be saved for shooting the next elephant you see but please wait until he's about three yards out or you might miss him. Bottom line is the Lead Frees go fast but shoot poorly so try the heavy pellets and you should do okay!
Things I would have changed: Hands down "Auto Safety" In my opinion all guns should have an Auto Safety and I would have used a better trigger.
The Trigger, Hum? Anybody have a winch or a sturdy come-along? Come-on Benji, for this nice of a gun the trigger is fundamentally WRONG! None the less I did manage to accomplish .45" groups at 35 feet using the heavy Crow Mag pellets. It takes a little getting used to but you can make it shoot right out of the box. Trouble is that after 300 shots my right index finger looks like it belongs to the Incredible Hulk. Oh well things could be worse. The good thing is that a local Air-gun dealer has a machined aluminum match quality trigger he will install and adjust to break clean at less than 3 pounds for under $50. This is the same trigger used to upgrade the Gamo Shadow platform, which by the way now shoots .25" groups at 35 feet all day long. I think the Silver Streak has potential with heavy pellets so I will make that investment soon. The (4) on my overall rateing is for the trigger, otherwise I would have maked all 5's.
What others should know:Remount the scope and use a low strength Thread Locker on all screws. Make sure the scope stop pin is snuggly in the hole provided and use Thread Locker on that also. This Gun shoots hard so know what's down range. This gun is also very loud when using the lightweight lead free pellets but don't worry about that so much because the elephant will be getting all the attention. I will touch bases again on accuracy after my SS broke in and cleaned. I'm at about 400 shots now and she's settling down nicely. Bullseye.
This gun is a heavy weight but I'm okay with that as I believe the added weight makes any gun more stable for bench shooting. The SS is also heavy to cock. I never did see the spec but it has to be over 40 pounds but hey, I can do one armed left handed pushups now so there is always a bright side don't you think? This is a nice gun for the money and I don't regret the purchase at all.

What others should know:After reading the other reviews and additional pictures, I was pretty exceited to get this gun. So, it arrived yesterday. However, when I took it out of the box, I was disappointed right away. The wood finish was not impressive. I grabbed the muzzle break and touched the front sight hood and it kinda rattled (plastic). I tried to see how it was affixed, but done at the factory, there's no fastener I could see. I broke the barrel and heard a cheap-sounding creaking of the spring. Maybe I got a bad one.
I've just recently gotten back into shooting because of a rat problem in the back yard. I dusted off my old RWS 36 and it shot just like it did the first day I bought it 20 years ago. Blueing was immaculate. Wood finish was still good. all the metal is nicely finished and fitted. No creeking when I pumped it. nice, smooth, tight action. front hood site is removable and made of steel. Accurate. I bought it for about $160 at the time.
This super streak... $300. I think $150 of it was the scope. I was impressed with the quality of the scope. Don't use scopes that much. The illuminated reticle was a nice feature. If you have $300 to spend, buy an RWS. If this is going to be your first high powered gun, yeah, you may be impressed compared to a 760 Pumpmaster (I also had when I was 10, good gun) But if you've had a real high quality performance gun, you'll be slightly disappointed.

I had to put a larger one in after the original one snapped even though all of the other allen screws could not be tightend any more. It just has a lot of recoil. That is fine if you want the power this rifle provides.

Things I would have changed:The trigger and amount of force to cock it. I didn't buy this gun for hunting, but for practice and fun. The amount of effort to cock it 4 times within 10 minutes is forcing me to return it for the second time. The initial break from it being locked was extremely difficult, I couldn't it in my arms had to break it on my leg, and I'm not a small man. The first time I returned it was because the trigger on the gun was shorter than in the picture and it pinched my finger when I shot. I returned it and it appeared as in the picture, but much to my dismay it still pinches my finger after every shot.
Good rifle, not good for fun.

Things I would have changed:The trigger, very heavy. I'll get a GRT trigger later.

Things I liked:This gun is VERY powerful and very accurate. I typically shoot 15.4 grain Gammo hunters out of them chronographed at an average 840fps. It is not very picky with pellets and I find the best performance from heavy pellets with soft skirts.
My shooting technique needs improvement so the best I can shoot off bench is .5 ctc inches at 20 yards in a 10 shot grouping. However there have many reviews on the net that this gun can perform much better.
Cocking effort is fairly easy and initially dry but this will clear up after 500+ rounds.
The scope that it arrived with is top notch as well.
Things I would have changed:The gun is incredibly long and heavy. It requires a 52inch scoped rifle case and most of the weight is in the front by the barrel. I would shorten the barrel so that the gun will balance and handle better in the field. This is less of a problem shooting off the bench. The gun came with a few nicks in the bluing and stock, as most chinese made guns do. The trigger is long, hard and creepy. It has not changed much after breakin.
What others should know:This gun is a great value if you are looking for a very powerful/accurate hunting rifle. However it is very hard for me to shoot anything distant off hand due to the balance and weight of the gun.

Things I liked:Very unique body design to accommodate for both lefty and regular gunner. The gun is designed to fit perfectly for those who are between 5 feet 6 inches to 6 feet in height, either skinny or moderately built. The Center Pointe scope mounted perfectly for the proper eyesight level, holding form, and provides excellent viewing needs for the accuracy needed shots.
The gun doesn't require the 200 shots breaking in period. After about 40 rounds of 0.22 Beeman Crow Magnum, the grouping goes from 2 inches, to a 0.25", to a hole-in-hole accuracy at 10 yards (30 feet), up to 20 yards (60 feet). It's still in its first 500 rounds break in, and hopefully, by the 500th shoot, the accuracy will suddenly improve beyond the 25 yards (75 feet) and beyond for all pellets.
The spring doesn't kick like a mule, similar to the hand guns or real sniper rifle, so, holding it lightly to increase the comfort is everything. Even my wife (a size 5 gal, with a 5'8" height) can hold the gun and fire with great comfort. The gun is indeed heavy for those who don't have a lot of upper body strength, but for moderately built individuals can hold that gun with ease without long term discomfort. I run around with it for hours, and only feel a tad tired from all the cocking.
Things I would have changed:A silencer or the spring and nozzle would be nice. Shooting it in an urban environment at 06:30 hour or after 19:00 hour can be hair raising for the local neighbor. It's as loud as my Spyder paintball gun with CO2 (around 87 decible). Slap your hand hard, and that's how loud it is, even with the heaviest 0.22 caliber pellet, like the Beeman Kodiak.
What others should know:For those who haven't use a springer before, just make a note for yourself to be careful on the first few shots. Rather than taking super accurate shots, heed the words of those who use it before you. Hold it tightly against your shoulder to fire a few rounds, so you can adjust to the kick-back strength of the spring. My wife jumped when she held the gun and shot it for the first time, not knowing how much of a recoil it had. Well, a bump on the cheek indicated to her that she need to held that gun just a tad tighter towards her body, and against her shoulder. If you're weak, or if the gun feels heavy, best to invest in a good bipod, or use your camera tripod and modify it to support your gun. Breathing it incorrectly without support can cause you to miss your target by 2 inches.
The accuracy is something to brag about, after the initial break in of 50 rounds. After 25 grounds, the accuracy increased from a 2" grouping to a 0.15" grouping using the JSP Predator and Beeman Crow Magnum. Passing the 50 round, the accuracy increases from 0.15" to pretty much hole-in-hole.
If you're planning to do any target shooting or pest control, keep the target in range of 20 yards (60 feet). Anything greater than 60 feet within the 500 initial rounds of the gun's life, the accuracy is poor. You have to continually compensate for each type of pellet due to air friction, which in terms brings down the velocity, and arcing starting to occur as the distant increases to the target.
If you're expecting the velocity to reach 1100fps every time for the 0.22" caliber, forget it. I had mobile chronos everywhere every time I shoot. At the best conditions using light pellets will max your velocity at 1020fps. At the worst conditions, your velocity drops to 700fps. Don't be discouraged though. The damage inflicted by the pellet from the gun is phenomenal. Using a Crow Magnum pellet, you will blow a nickle size hole into the body of a large size pigeon at 60 feet mark. You will not see a the deep penetrator pellet any where in the animal's body after impact, like the Predator. I'll report in when I bag the pesky gophers that had been terrorizing my yards for the past few years.
If you're target practicing, be aware that the blunt pellet will penetrate through two of the 1/2 inch cloth drawer/dresser panels at 30 yards (60 feet). It will create a hole in your tree trunk (especially the palm tree) about 1/2 deep. It will put a nice dent in your mortar wall if no protection is used for the wall. It will damage the power transformer on top of the telephone poles if you shoot at it (I didn't do it...). It will kill you, your pets, or anything that stands in front of it within 10 feet if you don't handle the gun properly.
Check the gun for any loose screw. Trust me, it's all loose! Tighten them up before you fire your first shot. When you cock it for the first few hundred rounds, you have to slap it (strike the largest tip end of the barrel just before the front sight) to dislodge the barrel from the forearm wooden housing. Mine was stuck on the first initial load. I had to slapped it at least 5 times to dislodge the barrel housing from the wooden body. After 40 shot, and light slap will do the trick.
The scope is quite accurate. Read the blog about zeroing the scope, and you'll understand it as you play with the scope. You don't need a shimmy to increase or decrease the scope's range, but you may need to if you're unlucky. Mind mounted and zeroed within 10 minutes, after 20 hots. The only pet peeve I have is the locking ring. You can tighten those lock rings down until you turn black and blue, but after 6 shots, the rings are loose. The cross hair is still at the same setting, and the accuracy remains, but the setting can be changed by accident since the lock rings are loosen from the firing.
Hope this info is of help. I just pray that users typed more detail report so others can get the full info before purchasing any thing. This gun is my choice of arsenal for pest control. May be some small game later in the fall, during migration season.

Things I would have changed:I would definetly have Crossman re-design the break/cocking mechanism of the barrel. it's too tight- requires a slap down on the barrel to disengage the lock. If you don't crank it down to 'full cock", the trigger won't engage. NEEDS BREAKING IN.

Things I liked:Lets start off with Pyramid Air!! These guys/gals ROCK!! The gun is fantastic in many ways. The looks of the gun is nothing short of pure amazement! It looks like serious business! Besides a couple of VERY small scuffs on the underside of the forearm the gun was in excellent shape right out of the box. The scope is magnificent in many ways. 4-16x40AO illuminated reticle and a gun of this caliber under $500? Way to go Crosman/Benjamin Sheridan for making it, and way to go Pyramid Air for getting it to us in perfect condition.
Things I would have changed:I would only gripe about the trigger. It is a little tough at first, but you do get used to it after a while.
What others should know:I waited until I shot 400 shots through my .22 cal version before I wrote anything about it because I wanted to give my honest opinion about the gun after the break in period. Believe me I wanted to write this 2 weeks ago!! The power is phenomenal, and the accuracy is pretty darn good. I bought mine specifically for hunting purposes, so I sighted my scope in with predator pellets. These things RIP through this gun and never fall short of expectations. It is a little cumbersome to lug around the woods with, but it is my go to "hunter" now. The scope is crystal clear and once it's zeroed in; It's ON! Take the time to do the right things with your scope because it WILL make all the difference in the world. Check out this article by Tom Gaylord http://www.pyramydair.com/scope-shift-barrel-drop.shtml to insure your complete success with this gun. I have 4 springers now and this is a true pleasure to own and operate. Pyramid Airs team is beyond phenomenal!!

Things I would have changed:the standard sight isn't very well. A fiber optic sight would be nice....
What others should know:it's a quite heavy gun! If you like to shot over 15 minutes or so, you better shot with bi-pods or something like this. depending on your build....
If you like to shot on a target you better do this over 15 yards with this velocity. I mostly shot from 50 yards on bottles or tins. If you use pellets under 8.0 grains you loose a lot of your accuracy but the gun sounds nearly like a real rifle.
I would recommend the "crow magnum", the "Hyper-Velocity Lead Free Field Pellets (Type 3 - Long Range)", or the "Beeman .177 Silver Arrow".
With this gun, you have a well product for a well price!!!!
The worst: bird/pest hunting (biger animals anyway) is illegal in swiss :-(

I did but I told him he really needs to break it in first... anyway, there are much better options fo the money, but if you feel like this is the one, go for it. One inch group at 30 yards shouldn't be a problem. Just stay subsonic, learn the firing behavior, use right techniques, play with different pellets but stick with the most accurate, pick a strong good quality scope, and go from there.
Things I would have changed:Trigger.
What others should know:This one vibrates and hold sensitive gun. Takes a lot to shoot it well.
Someone said he is the Navy firearm instructor? Obviously that person don't have a clue how to shoot a spring piston air gun accurately. Most of firearm techniques DO NOT work here. Do a research on that subject,sir... Oh, forget about sand bags! Only firearms and PCP air guns can really benefit from that. Tom Gaylord wrote more than enough here about spring piston guns and what it takes to be accurate with them.

Things I liked:Powerful, lots of knockdown power in 22. Excellent fit and finish. The thumbhole stock is an advantage (at least for me). The scope is top notch, maybe even too good for an airgun, if that's possible. Quite accurate right out of the box... this beginner shot 1.5 inch groups at 30 yards in no time flat. With a little more practice, pellet experimentation and a new scope mount (see below), I'm certain that groups under 1 inch will be easy to accomplish.
Things I would have changed:Without a doubt, it needs an adjustable scope mount. Rifle was still shooting a few inches high with the elevation knob cranked to the max "down" position. Had to shim the front of the scope to get things on target. MAKE SURE you check all the screws on the scope mount and gun for tightness before firing... just about all of them on my gun were loose.
What others should know:At just under 50 inches long and around 10 pounds, this is a BIG gun, there's nothing "compact" about it. Take that into account if you're smaller in size or like to go on long walking trips through the woods. The scope mount is the weak link in this package. Test it out first, but be prepared for the very real possibility that you'll want or need to upgrade to an adjustable mount. Overall though, I'm very pleased with this rifle. Considering that the scope by itself runs about $70 retail, the price point on this package is outstanding. I'd say it's on a par with rifles costing twice as much.

I was very dissapointed with it's accuracy. And for the record I'm a Navy shooting instructor, and I know how to shoot. I tested the gun laying down in a prone position with the gun resting on a sand bag.

Things I liked:I reviewed this already and this is a follow up after 300 or so shots. Hole in hole accuracy at 20 yards. Look and feel. For an airgun, this is very good. Here are pictures of a penny shot at 20 yards with type 3 hyper velocity pellets, and some pictures of the rifle.

Things I would have changed:Like I said before, for some reason I can't get the scope zeroed in. It is as low as it goes, but the shot is still below the reticle and the elevation setting can't be lowered anymore, and neither can the scope. So i just aim 1/4 inch higher and it works great.

Things I would have changed:My main complaint was the bore. Out of the box the bore was the grimiest, dirtiest bore I have ever seen...really. I dont know if the machine or drill was dull or what. It litterally took me 3 hours to get the bore free of any debirs. Even then you could see ripples in the rifling where the drill was going in to fast and not cutting smooth or it was just dull. I was very dismayed, after all when you spend $ 300 on a air rifle you expect the bore to be of the up most quality...I mean if any one thing on the rifle needs to be perfect it is the bore!!!! Maybe their quality controll guy was sick the day my rifle went down the line. This definatley affected the accuracy. I could not get the rifle to hold a zero at all period. I thought maybe its the scope....no I mounted it on one of my other air rifles and it sighted in quickly. Once again it had to be the bore. My final grip would have to be the 10lbs pull trigger. It is absolutley the most bulky cumbersome akward trigger I have EVER shot. How can one obtain true accuracy if their finger has to turn white for the trigger to pull? Once again on a $ 300 air rifle touting excellent accuracy a quality trigger should be the second priority after the bore. And yes I was shooting Beeman Kodiak match grade pellets and the crossman priemier 10.6g pellets.
What others should know:I would be very cautious before purchasing this $ 300 air rifle. Maybe I did just get one with a bad bore.....;but the trigger is still horrendous. Even if the bore was great and the gun would hold a zero I still would not purchase it soley based on the cheap awful trigger. Benjamin Sheridan you shoud be ashamed!!!!!!! I mean how much would it really cost you guys to put a decent trigger on this rifle......After all it is a $ 300 AIR rifle!

What others should know:Make sure you get right pellets for it, some will cause it to, well sound like a .22 rifle. I case you don't want to upset the neighbors use a little heavier pellets. My choice is the Hyper-Velocity Lead Free Field Pellets (Type 3 - Long Range). They will go thru almost everything, i shot thru a 1/4" metal target at 100 yards, found the pellets in a tree behind it about an inch and in a half deep. I thought it was quite impressive. This guns scope is quite accurate right out of the box, and looks amazing as well. This gun is serious, feels and performs like the real deal, its exceeded my expectations so far, a definate buy for the person who wants power accuracy and the satisfaction of having your pellets accurately hitting the target almost every time. Overall, AWESOME!!!

Things I would have changed:Nothing at all. The scope didn't really adjust, because even after moving elevation dial as low as i could, it still needs to be lower. I guess I will just have to aim a little higher, or remount the scope.

With your right hand hold the rifle just behind the rear sight which is the center, or as I do it, put the center over your arm just below your right elbow which is the most stable area(hug). 3. With your left hand's palm give a firm and short slap over the front sight to drop the barrel 4. With your left hand bend the barrel all the way while the center of rifle rests over your right-arm(below elbow).
You're done, now put a pellet in and make sure you don't squeeze the trigger with barrel broken because that'll slam the barrel in your face.

Accuracy varies greatly from pellet to pellet. I like to shoot long ranges, and with 8.2gr RWS Meisterkrugens, this has about an inch spread at 50 yards. I'm still sighting the scope in though. Accuracy with gamo PBA raptors is, nothing short of horrible at 50 yards.
What others should know:Beware with any light pellets if you're in a residential area. Anything under 7.5gr WILL break the sound barrier, and sound just like a .22 rimfire. At first, you may think there's a problem with the rifle, as it is VERY hard to break the barrel at first, especially with constant force. You'll need to grab it by the thumb piece next to the scope, and by the end of the barrel, and give it a swift knee right at the break point.

Not just a looker- this gun can SHOOT!!! Easy sight in of the excellent Centerpoint scope with very impressive accuracy right out of the box (about 3/8 ctc @ 25yd) with cph. This will only get better as it gets broken in/dialed in and I become more familiar with it! Very powerful. Recoil is noticeable but not bothersome with very little buzz from the spring. Other things I like-
1> An extra spare battery, nice lint free cloth, spare screws, and allen wrenches are included for the scope.
2> Instructions for the scope and rifle are excellent.
3> 50 free hollow point alloy pellets, with pouch, is a nice touch.
4> Packaging is good. This rifle is boxed inside one large solid piece of styrofoam.
5> Did I mention this rifle is beautiful?
Things I would have changed:NOTHING. Absolutely nothing.
What others should know:The Super Streak is a massive air rifle. If you like rifles that are over four feet long and over 10 lbs, as I do, than this one is for you. I'm a 6'3" tall linebacker size man and I find it big. Cocking effort isn't bad but I can see that it might be a challenge for a smaller person due to the large and long stature of this "Big Ben". Tom Gaylord's review of this rifle, found in the Blog on this site, is spot on.
