The Crosman 1088 CO2 pistol is versatile, because you can shoot whichever type of ammo you have on hand! Pellets or BBs...this pistol likes both of them. Fill the clip with 8 pellets or BBs, and you're ready to rock and roll. The 12-gram CO2 cartridge will deliver lots of shots before you need to change it.
The frame is made of a durable synthetic, and the barrel is rifled steel. Texture on the ambidextrous grip gives you a firm grasp on the gun. It comes with open sights (windage-adjustable rear) and an accessory rail. The gun shoots either single- or double-action.
Whether you shoot for fun or want to improve your target shooting skills, this pistol is up to it. Remember to get lots of extra ammo and CO2 packs, 'cause you're gonna shoot a lot! Never shoot BBs at metal objects or targets!

Things I liked:Shoots very consistently, and very accurate. Things I would have changed:The sights are poor. Trigger action is long. Buy Crosman pellets or Daisy pointed rounds. Others fit the rotor loosely and fall out causing it to jam.

Things I liked:For the price, it's not a bad deal. Things I would have changed:The sights are horrible, only a windage adjustment (assuming you can find out what type of head the microscopic set screws have). What others should know:Out of the box this gun sounded like it was falling apart inside, rattled badly when turned over. Curiosity got the better of me and I took it apart. I found that in front of the co2 cartridge, they put a 3" metal bar inside the handle area. There was no glue or silicone holding this in place, it just sits in a hollow slot. I siliconed it in place and cured that noise.
Overall, for $63 it's fun to shoot.

Very powerful, accurate and a good value for your money.
