One of the most versatile airguns on the market, the Crosman 2100B multi-pump pneumaticSomething that works on air pressure. shoots either steel BBs or .177 lead pellets. With 200 BBThe term given to air rifle ammunition. It originally meant a lead shotgun shot in the size BB. When air rifles stopped using that size, the term BB continued in use. Today, it means a steel ball of 0.171 inches to 0.173 inches in diameter. Airsoft balls of 6mm are also called BBs. rounds in the gun's reservoirThe proper name for the tank that holds compressed air or gas for an airgun. Also the term for the container that holds BBs in a gun. (17 BBs in the magazine), you'll be shooting for hours without having to reload. Just pump and shoot! If you prefer to shoot pellets, the 2100B can do that, too (loaded one at a time). As both a repeaterA gun capable of firing more than one shot without reloading. and a single-shot, this rifle offers adaptability not found in most other airguns.

If pest elimination or hunting is your bag, you can take very small rodents (at close distances) with pellets. The 11mm dovetailA machined shape (two parallel grooves) that allows easy clamping of accessories. makes scoping the gun an easy project. Both BBs and pellets can be used to shoot targets, although steel BBs should never be shot at metal targets and objects.

Pump the 2100B from 2 to 10 pumps, depending on the distance you're shooting. Light in weight, this full-size powerhouse launches pellets up to 725 fpsFeet per second, usually written f.p.s. and BBs up to 755 fps.

Never pump your 2100B more than 10 pumps!

Don't forget to click on the Ammo link for a list of recommended BBs and pellets. The Accessories link has a list of scopes, fun targets and safety gear you'll want for your rifle.

Things I liked:Well, to start off I will say that I am a total "Newbie" to the Target/shooting industry. I really like this pellet gun. I found it easy to set-up, easy to control, and easy to maneuver. I bought the scope, BBs, a laser site, and a small target for practice. Surprisingly, all of this only came out to around $157 in the long run. The prices on this website are really low, even a few dollars lower than some of the competitors. Overall, I gave it a 5 stars, because for a beginner, it was easy to set-up and shoot. I don't know much about guns/pellet rifles, so that helps me be less critical of the item.
Things I would have changed:I would change the fact that it is not real wood and could be breakable if dropped (but keep in mind it would almost have to be smashed in order to break). It was definitely not a weak product.
What others should know:There is some things you should know if you want this product. It stated that it is for small game hunting, or target practice. I live in Los Angeles and by law here we have to either shoot it on private property or at a gun range. I didn't exactly want to go to a gun range with some weak a** pellet gun. If you live in a section with less open land (like south CA) you might want to consider getting a "pinging" type gun, so you can shoot it in your back yard or something. This is way more powerful and is better for minor protection. I don't have a gun permit, so the next best thing is a higher powered BB gun, seeing as I live alone. By the way, the laser site doesn't appear to "fit" at the same time as the scope. You may have to use them separately.

Things I liked:Lightweight, cheap, and powerful
Things I would have changed:The stock and forearm take away from the appeal of the gun. Crosman use to offer real wood stock versions, why not try it again? The front sight blade is too wide for the rear ramp. Worst trigger pull of any air rifle I've ever owned. Feels like a 3 stage trigger, you really have to give it a squeeze to fire, and that effects accuracy.
What others should know:Haven't had this gun for too long, bought it to upgrade fom my Daisy Powerline 856..think I may have made a mistake. I'll add a scope and hopefully the trigger will break in with use. It's powerful and fairly quiet.

Things I liked:i like many things about this gun, and it is a gun not a toy or a starter for kids, i have break barrels, daisy 880 pump, 12 air guns now, and the feel of this rifle is great like a .22LR , it was hard to pump until i oiled it, and it was a little off until i cleaned it real good, i took a scope off my .22 and without readjustment it,s really accurate..i like my 880 but this gun is much better quality and as accurate as any of my air guns and powerful...
Things I would have changed:be nice if it used a clip with 6 or 8 shots... but hey i really like this all around rifle.
What others should know:i wouldn,t bother with bbs, it too accurate and deadly with pellets , to use wimpy bbs... it,s not a toy...!!!!! use the silver hollow points, or better yet the 18k plated pbr ammo and you will get great results, I say it,s close in knock down power and accuracy as the break barrel hunter rifles "IF YOU USE THE NON LEAD EXPENSIVE PBR high velocity pellets, for the price its a very great , exellent air gun... sincerely, redneck robert *Note: Clean it > When it comes out of the box.

Things I liked:I like the fact this gun is so extremely well made. For the price you pay, and the gun you get. It's a hell of a deal. This gun is very Acurite, and Very well made. The open sight are great fully adjustable. This gun recieves scopes, or red dot sights. I highly recomend a scope. You will be amazed on how acurite this gun is. I sighted mine in for 50 yards, and I am shooting 1/4 inch groops, I kid you not. I own a Benjamin 397, and these are the only two air rifles i have ever seen achieve this. My wife ordered this gun for me through (Pyramydair) They shipped very quickly in great packaging. plenty of air wrap, and the box was stamped fragile. I had ordered my Benjamin through (Airgundepot) horrible expierience. The box was beat up, and there was no padding at all. Thank you so much to the people responsible for the great service at (Pyramydair).
Things I would have changed:Really the only thing i would change on this gun, is the way ythe barrels are cut, and not crowned, this is potentially a problem with acuracy. I crowned the barrel on mine, and i think that has part to do with the great acuracy. I cut a recessed crown on mine. the easiest.
What others should know:Make sure. as with any gun. You run a clean dry patch through the barrel a few times. Buy Pelgun Oil for this air rifle. Trust me it will lengthen the life of the gun, and prevent alot of potential problems down the road.

Things I liked:I like the weight and metal content of this pellet rifle. The Crosman 2100B weighs about 4 pounds and has a metal receiver, which makes it stand out from many airguns at this price range. The velocity is impressive, especially at this price. Crosman 7.9 gr flat-head wadcutters will penetrate through the side of a soda can with only two pumps at 10 yards (30 feet). This airgun has respectable mechanical (intrinsic) accuracy, but I believe that it is handicapped by its' trigger in this regard.
Things I would have changed:The trigger pull on this rifle inhibits its' accuracy; it feels almost like the trigger has 3 stages. I suspect that the trigger will smooth itself out with time. I'd like to see wood furniture as an option. It would be nice if this airgun could use pellet clips like the Crosman models 66 and 760, but I understand it would require a major redesign to achieve this, so it probably wouldn't be worth it for Crosman.
What others should know:I received this rifle today (3/24/08). I ran several cleaning patches down the bore and I noted that the patches appeared to be coming out with grease and lead residue on them. If you encounter poor accuracy when first shooting this airgun, try cleaning it. The bore may be dirty even though it is a new airgun.

Things I liked:fill the 200 BB reservoir and shoot for hours! non stop, just pumping!
Things I would have changed:nothing for me it was the best gun I had.....
What others should know:I had this rifle a few years ago, exelent accuracy, cheap, great power and it will last forever with almost no maintenaince. I wouldstill have it but they robed my house and I lost this valuable thing.. my rifle!

Things I liked:are things made well. I look for a quality name, like Crossman, when I'm in the market for a good gun at a good price. The 2100 has proven to be a powerfull and accurate gun. There's no sacrificing accuracy at 9 pumps. Breath in and halt you outbreath and sqeeze the trigger, and wait for it...the "FFFT" and the slap of the target. It's that quick...that accurate.
Things I would have changed:Nothing. This is a premium gun with the classic Crossman styling.
What others should know:Safety is a learned virtue. Any gun that can rip a tin can to shreds can do the same to a child or a pet. Safety is paramount when operating a BB gun or a pellet gun, a crossbow or other power delivery system. These guns are not the toys that you thought they were. The are potentially dangerous when misused.

Things I liked:adjustable power so you can regulate from trying to blow a hole in something to low enough you can shoot at a pellet trap without putting welts in the metal. Sights are only slightly adjustable, but does better with scope. Light kick, doesn't damage scope clamps. Resivoure for BBs and a port for pellets. I've used this and the Crossman 760, this is clearly the better buy for a few more bucks.
Things I would have changed:The older versions had metal cocking handles, and the newer plastic ones are fragile. I would have replaced it back with metal. Unlike the new 760s, you can't put in a magazine for pellets. It gets hard to fit a pellet inside the chamber if you have large fingers. I'd like to sea a version with a magazine or pellet jig.
What others should know:Open sights are great, but I go with a scope. You could per say zero the rear sight, but it's much easier with a scope. I've done "colorful" competitions against break barrels, and placed. A great rifle for those who don't like brake barrels.

Things I liked:The way it looks and feels. It shoots well and it is accurate.Easy to pump and cock.
Things I would have changed:I would like to see a wood stock.
What others should know:This gun shoots all types of pellets well. At least it does for me. Use crosman domed pellets.I always hit the 10 ring at 30 yards away. With pointed it's just a wee bit off. You will have fun with this rifle.

Things I liked:its hard to cock butt has power to spare power for rats ,squals, and crows it kicks @$$ . and took i also tried useing it in sted of my Mendoza RM-2800 this gun is a must have for accuracy and power
Things I would have changed:i would make this gun in 22 because it has power but no punch make sure to make head shots because you don't want to shoot a animal more then one time!
What others should know:use a 3-9 scope instead of 3-12 because is hard to mount tasco 3-12 is
