This classic Crosman is a powerful hunting rifle with the increased stopping power of .22 caliber. A .22 caliber rifle offers a heavier pellet that increases the striking force on impact, making it the perfect choice for small game hunting and pest control.
This handsome gun also features a handcrafted American hardwood stock. A newly redesigned longer breech accommodates a scope. This version also has a new rear site to allow for better target visibility to help punch out the bullseye on any target.
The 2260SE comes with a CenterPoint 6x32mm compact scope & rings. Scope is unmounted. It has an adjustable objective, parallax focus from 3 yds to infinity, red/green illuminated reticle, hunting turrets for windage and elevation adjustments, and flip-open lens covers. This scope has developed a strong fan following as a bug buster and delivers solid performance shot after shot.

Things I would have changed:I like the stock it is real wood but could be more refined, This Is a nice little airgun crossman has they could really make it something with just a better looking stock and more power this thing would be great! All in all though it is worth the money and fun to shoot. What others should know:This gun Is accurate! I have mine shot in at 25 yrds with beeman silver bear hi impact hollow points and it groups very very well! I have a airforce condor and a rws 350 and this 2260 will shoot right with them in the accuracy department at 30 yrds or closer. the 2260 shoots around 600 fps with the silver bears over my crony, test was done at 68 degrees. Not as powerful as some guns but if your looking for accuracy, a good priced gun and enough power from 30 yrds and in this is a good gun to look at!! Very accurate!

Things I liked:Great power, superb accuracy, lightweight, no pumping - just load and shoot. This is my favorite air rifle to date. It makes good use of CO2 and worked like a charm right out of the case. I just can't say enough about this airgun; it's awesome! Things I would have changed:The price compared to the 2260. I got the 2260SE soley for the steel breach; I didn't need the super scope (it IS excellent, though). The $90 price difference just to get the desired steel breach wasn't cool. The 2260 should be the same airgun without the scope, but that's Crosman's issue not PyramidAir. What others should know:Despite the price difference, this is still a quality airgun with a great scope. The real wood stock and mostly metal parts give this rifle a nice look. The pellets are a little difficult to load with the scope attached but I use it mostly with open sites, target shooting in my garage. Without the scope, the pellets are a breeze to load.

Things I liked:Stock, accuracy WOW!!, power Things I would have changed:For the money there should have been a metal trigger and guard, the gun is twice the price of the base model, a metal tigger and guard is not too much to ask What others should know:I have been shooting for 30 plus years and I am really IMPRESSED with
