This classic Crosman is a powerful hunting rifle with the increased stopping power of .22 caliber. A .22 caliber rifle offers a heavier pellet that increases the striking force on impact, making it the perfect choice for small game hunting and pest control.
This handsome gun also features a handcrafted American hardwood stock. A newly redesigned longer breech accommodates a scope. This version also has a new rear site to allow for better target visibility to help punch out the bullseye on any target.
The 2260SE comes with a CenterPoint 6x32mm compact scope & rings. Scope is unmounted. It has an adjustable objective, parallax focus from 3 yds to infinity, red/green illuminated reticle, hunting turrets for windage and elevation adjustments, and flip-open lens covers. This scope has developed a strong fan following as a bug buster and delivers solid performance shot after shot.

Things I liked:Stock, accuracy WOW!!, power Things I would have changed:For the money there should have been a metal trigger and guard, the gun is twice the price of the base model, a metal tigger and guard is not too much to ask What others should know:I have been shooting for 30 plus years and I am really IMPRESSED with

What others should know:The first rifle they sent me was no good. The stock was cut for the barrel chanel off center. At the top of the stock by the barrel had 1/8" on one side and 3/8" on the other. The back sight was bent way over from the shipping. I paid the 10$ for the 10 for 10 test and how they never seen this is beyond me. I sent it back and in about 10 days I received the replacement. The second gun was perfect in every respect. It just makes me mad that I paid the 10$ extra and still received a defective gun (The first one). If I ever decided to order another gun I will not pay the 10$ and just take my chances.

You can make your own mods. yourself! What others should know:I purchased my 2260 from Pyramidair and added the steel breech& Bug Buster scope myself making my 2260 identicle to this 2260se. I also recently added a Bryan & Associates Boss valve & get an HONEST 600+ f.p.s.!! This is a super fun gun& very accurate& well suited for SMALL game hunting out to about20 yards. It is a real bargain at this price vrs. putting one together yourself!! Tim in S.C. AKA Dragonslayer.

Things I liked:As with the 1760 SE this is a fine little rifle. Very accurate @ 20 yds. my groups averaged under 3/4 of an inch and seems to like almost any pellet. At 20 yds. it shot circles around the QB 78 family of rilfes even their competition rifle. The trigger is a little creepy but if you have any knowledge of how they work it is easy

At 20 yds. it shot circles around the QB 78 family of rilfes even their competition rifle. The trigger is a little creepy but if you have any knowledge of how they work it is easy to install screw adjustments for freeplay and sear engagement (use caution here you can easily make it too sensitive) it is not necessary to do this as the trigger is easy enough work with and fine for normal shooting and hunting. Fit and finish are quite nice as well, good bluing and nice finish on the stock . I give it a thumbs up all the way Things I would have changed:None, don't mess with success. What others should know:When hunting with this rifle use common sense. Head shots are a must with this rifle. (as with most all CO2 guns) on squirrel and rabbit sized game. If you can't get close enough for a good clean head shot, by all means let him go till the next time, he'll be back.
