Powerful and accurate CO2 pistol, adjustable trigger and rear sight, ideal for target shooting and plinking. In Stock
Powerful, accurate and affordable! The Crosman 2300T CO2 pistol is ideal as a trainer for new target shooters or for seasoned shooters who want to hone their skills.
The rifled steel barrel drives pellets downrange around 520 fps, and you can expect over 40 shots at a consistent velocity from a CO2 cartridge. (One report states that 60 consistent shots are possible!) The rear sight has two white dots and micrometer adjustments for windage and elevation. The 11mm dovetail makes it easy to mount a pistol scope or a red dot sight. You can adjust the pull of the single-stage trigger from 4 lbs. down to 1 lb., plus there's an overtravel screw. The synthetic grip has thumbrests on both sides.
Whether you're shooting for fun or for competition, the Crosman 2300T will do you proud!
Click the AMMO link to stock up on appropriate pellets. Check the ACCESSORIES link for economy packs of CO2 cartridges, targets, maintenance gear, scopes, red dot sights, rings and safety glasses.

What others should know:I added the BSA red dot sight to it and it looks and shoots excelent. There is a technique to inserting a pellet when you add the scope, but Ive learned to roll the pellet in carefully and it goes in nearly every time now. Be patient and you will get used to it. I use RWS superdome pellets and the accuracy is great.

Other than that I believe the gun is a really nice air pistol, for all you get at this sale price. What others should know:I have owned 5 or 6 air guns over the years, Crosman, Beeman, and Sharden, and this is a good one, with good features for the money.
Expect to get 50 + Shots per Co2 powerlet

The sight can be mounted backwards to eliminate the dots and it does give a nice sight picture.

I bought this gun because of the steel breech, figuring that I would get a pistol similiar to one built at the Crosman Custom Shop. The LPA rear-sight is nice, and seems fairly accurate. The 2300S has better target match features, but the price reflects that. Things I would have changed:Replace the short breech with a long breech. Replace the cheap plastic grips with, at least, carbon fibre type plastic grips. What others should know:This pistol came with the paint on the trigger guard scaped-off down to the metal. As a customer from the old days of, "the customer is always right," the emails with both Pyramid and Crosman have left me feeling that corporate customer service is not good. I have to spend money to return my pistol for repair, to get it in a near-new condition. I haggled for some kind of compromise, but only got an agreement to received some free ammo and CO2 (I asked Crosman CS for a free muzzle brake and trigger shoe, plus free postage, which I would install myself.) So, I will never have a new gun (for the $129 I spent out of my small V.A. Disability fixed income,) I don't think that Pyramyd Air or Crosman care about customers, and if they (or other companies) say they do, don't believe it. Customer Services are often in India anyway.

Things I would have changed:Would be nice to get a trigger shoe with pistol (trigger is skinny) and wood grips would be nice.(I will order both from the Crosman custom site later) What others should know:This is well worth the money...I sat around and couldn't decide if I waneted to spend that much money on an air pistol...glad I finally did!

Things I would have changed:nothing What others should know:Once you slide the great rear sight on this gun, take a few shots & see what adjustments are needed & your good to go. The sight has a micrometer click by click adjustment so if your rounds are high--low--left--or right , you're just a few clicks from perfection. The grips are nice for plastic , but if you want wood grips, go to the Crosman web site. click on custom parts , and they have several wood grips to choose from. They do cost a bit at $60 up almost $80.00 a pair. check the Crosman forum link and you can find grips at about $45 a pair for the high quality ones like Cocobolo. I hope Pyramyd starts to sell the wood grips for the 2240 -- 2300T & 2300 S Crosman pistols. Pyraymd does NOT OVER CHARGE like many other air gun dealers do.

The plastic grips gives it a little bit of a inexpensive look. If it were more
than a single shot that would be good. What others should know:Be careful this is a very powerful gun. Keep it clean and oiled it might
rust. Make sure you don't load the pellets backwards.

I'm working toward making a offical 25 foot range in my basement because I want to hone my skills @ the offical 25' . I am impressed that I hit the target 100 % of the time .after tweaking the rear sight I was nailing the 7, 8 , and 9 rings several times. I have 8 various co2 pistols , and this is the first time EVER that I shot out the inside 2-3 " ring of a pistol target , using a brand new pistol for the first time no less!!! I have had no formal training , and continue to work on my breathing , and stance technique in hopes that I get good enough to join a team. Things I would have changed:This is the first time that a Crosman fixed front sight bothers me. When I'm not firing the gun, it looks as though the barrel is twisted. I keep feeling concerned that it is , but yet I hit the target with every shot as I wrote above. This is my first competition pistol so it just may be the design throwing me off. I would like it if Crosman , or a Pyramyd Air Gun Smith put on the rear sight instead of having the owner do so. I'm concerned that I'm throwing off the balance , and accuracy by placing it where I think it should be , instead of knowing I have it just right. ONE BIG THING I would like , turn the volume up. This gun is way too quiet. It's a fantastic gun , but I want that loud bang when I pull that trigger. My Crosman .22cal pistol is rated 3 med, and is much louder then this pistol which is also rated 3 med loudness. I love hearing that loud pop , and wish this pistol had it. What others should know:If you are a well trained , or very good self taught marksmen , you will no doubt hit the center ring with this fantastic pistol. I must have got the gold crowned 2300T because I got AT LEAST 60 shots out of my co2. I read other ratings , and people were saying 40 rounds. I kept shooting away , and thought WOW am I going to use 100 pellets before the power drops? I am very impresssed with this gun , and the number of rounds I got from a single co2. Just in case anybody wants to know , I used RWS Match pellets for my first full use of co2 on my brand new 2300T. I'm very happy with the results I received having had gone from box to firing / tweaking my first time out. Thanks for another fantastic Air gun Crosman.

Things I liked:Option of scope mounting. Crisp trigger. Things I would have changed:Ability to lighten trigger pull into the ounces. Add a removable barrel weight. What others should know:hard to get 60 accurate rounds off with one cylinder.
