Ten-shot repeater, real revolver mechanism, single- or double-action! This gun looks like the Colt Python and shoots 10 shots as fast as you can pull the trigger. Powered by a CO2 Powerlet, the Crosman 357W has a 6" rifled steel barrel. The molded combat grips have finger grooves for added control (it's truly ambidextrous!). It's so realistic, your friends will have a hard time telling the difference between this and the firearm, although this airgun is lighter.
To load the gun, break it open in front of the revolver mechanism. Instead of loading ammo directly into the wheel, you pop in a preloaded circular clip. Close it up and commence shooting! You'll get plenty of shots before you have to replace the CO2 cartridge. The rear sight is fully adjustable, but feel free to add a red dot on the 3/8" dovetail! This is a great gun for shooting tin cans, plinking, hitting spinners and more. It's an all-day shooter, so stock up on pellets and CO2!
Click the AMMO link to stock up on appropriate pellets. Check the ACCESSORIES link for economy packs of CO2 cartridges, targets, maintenance gear, red dot sights and safety glasses.

Things I liked:If Your looking to get the most bang for Your buck This is a good choice. Can't be beat for $50.00. It's not a tack driver but has pretty fair accuracy. I get about quarter size groups at ten meters off of a rest. And about 60 quality shots out of a CO2 cylinder.

Things I liked:First off this is a big gun. Things I would have changed:Nothing, If you changed too much you would not get it for fifty dollars
What others should know: If you get this gun make sure you buy a lot of ammunition, Once you start shooting it, it's hard to put down.

Things I liked:The pistol is of solid construction and easy to load, easy to change gas cartridges. As many have mentioned, the grip panels are a little loose but once I start shooting it makes no difference. Frankly, I like that they come off so easily. Once you start shooting it's hard to stop because it's so much fun so I go through a lot of cartridges each session.
Things I would have changed:I have added white dots on the sights...
What others should know:I get at least 50 shots per CO2. The accuracy is fine for me as we knock down cans, plastic bottles, action figures and small wooden blocks with ease from 20-25 feet away. I have used both heavy and light pellets, both worked well.

Things I would have changed:The grips are a bit loose as everyone has said before. Some of the paint starts chipping off the plastic after awhile.
What others should know:This is probably the best value for the price. Really cool and great gun.

Things I would have changed:The barrel latch on mine was real tight but with continual use is getting better. A speed loader would be a real good , you tend to shoot a lot more clips with this pistol because its so darn much fun. A steel mounting rail would be a great improvement even as a aftermarket accessory.
What others should know:Have tried Crosman premiers, Gamo match and just yesterday RWS hobbys, the hobbys seem to shoot more accurately. My old eyes aren't as good as they used to be so I mounted a Crosman red dot, and what a difference, groups tightened up. As you can tell, I shoot from the bench mostly. Have been getting 5-7 clips per cartridge. PA's new packing system is great, my last two orders arrived in perfect condition. Good job PA.

Things I would have changed:I'd only change the back sight to make it tighter, everyone complains about the grip but I found a way around it. [See below]
What others should know:About everyone complains that the grips are a little lose. The trick is get some electric tape, but put it on the inside. Put a strip on each side of the metal frame that the grip snaps to, and a small strip on each side where the pin is. [Don't cover the part where you need to put the can in.] Trust me, this tightens it up perfectly, still makes it easy to get on and off but makes it tight enough not to ever feel it shake again.

Things I would have changed:would make the inside barrell bigger, so you cant see the pellet thing. the worst thing is the handle, because its plastic and hard to open. And the lock isnt all that great, where the hammer is, because if you keep shooting with it on, then eventually it will actually shoot..(so make sure you hold the gun down..please!) I woulld change the revolver so it will flip out...but its a great gun.
What others should know:Be very careful, this really could hurt sombody permanently! Also put the lock on and pellets out when not in use, because one mistake is costly. Please. This is way more powerful than a simple BB gun..

Things I would have changed:The only weak area I notice is the grips. I plan to use 2 fat rubber bands to secure the grip halves during use.
What others should know:This is a great gun to use to instruct beginners in the fundamentals of safety, grip, sight alignment and operation. A great way to work up sensitive shooters into the .22LR and beyond.

Things I would have changed:Grips are a little loose, but you can overcome this by adding a lobster band(cut bike innertube 1/2" wide and put around grips) This won't look bad and you won't know its there when shooting.
What others should know:This gun is accurate! Great sights! Pull hammer back and shoot like target gun. Has accessory rail. I added a BSA Dot sight on top. Then, I was able to put a BSA Laser sight on that bottom tube like thing under the barrel with no modifications. Both sights fit 11mm or weaver type rails.

What others should know:One great air pistol. Super accurate, smooth trigger when the hammer is cocked. Love the 10 shot clip, buy the extras as you can easily get 50 shots out of the powerlet. Balance for a none target pistol is great. Mounted a red dot sight and it is almost impossible to miss at 30-50 ft.. Not super powerful so I can safely shoot it in the basement. Not all that loud either so shooting out doors isn't drawing a lot of attention. I thought it was going to be too large for my small hands but the grip fits fine. This turned out to be one fun gun to shoot for targets and casual plinking. Great gun!

Things I liked:This is my first pellet pistol, and in my opinion it was worth the wait. The pistol is light and accurate. The CO2 lasted longer than everybody has said so far. The first three rounds are a little high, but then the next 50-70 rounds are pretty consistent after that it starts to drop off. I shoot the cheapest pellets I can find, and at 10 yards I can keep a 3/8 in group (using a sandbag) and an average of a 1 1/4in standing (all ten rounds).
Things I would have changed:The plastic handles are not the best, and will pinch you if you are not careful. They also need to make a speed loader for it the clips take a while to load. Shipping could have been a little faster.
What others should know:Buy extra pellets you run through them fast. Make sure you do not grab the handles to snap them back together.Using the thumb and first finger worked the best for me. Also make sure the nut for the CO2 is flipped to the side otherwise the handle will fall off. Buy a couple extra clips it only comes with one.

Things I would have changed:Pyramid Air has some packaging issues, if your going to staple a box shut that's full of airbags to keep the items secure, DON'T STAPLE THE AIRBAGS! With the gun itself, I would rather have the 8'' barrel but they don't sell it anymore. Also, my trigger's bluing wasn't done very well, it has discoloration everywhere.
What others should know:Do not use BBs, it has a rifled barrel and a bb will damage the rifilng making pellets inaccurate.

Things I liked:I really liked the feel of this gun. It has some realistic heft to it which gives it a nice stable character when firing. The aim on mine was fairly true and needed little adjustment. Some air pistols of this price range usually have a trigger that I gringe at every time I pull the it. Not this gun. The trigger has a relitively short travel and isn't gritty or sticky.
I would say the fps rating is about spot on. I shot a few hunderd wad cutters at a 10M target and the holes were pretty clean.
The clips are one of my favorite parts of this gun. 10 shots! Buy a few extra before you check out, you'll be glad you did as this will fire as fast as yo can pull the trigger. You can store the extra clips in an empty pellet tin!
Things I would have changed:Although most of the gun is nice and solid, I'm not a huge fan of the grips. Though comfortable, they are plastic and both have to come off to replace the Co2. Not a great big deal but just sort of a personal thing.
What others should know:As I said above, get extra clips. This gun will fire as fast as you can pull the trigger and nobody likes to spend half the time loading.
Don't judge the accuracy of this gun, o any for that matter, until you've put a few tins of pellets through it. Like any good relationship, the pellets and the gun need time to get to know one another

Things I would have changed:the plastic handle where the co2 tank is placed. i dont know about other guns, but since the day i got it, it's been loose and shaky. i recommend for the people that have this same problem to just wrap tape around it, and replace the tape every time you need to change the c02 tank.
What others should know:this gun is fairly heavy. it's not light. it would be hard to shoot with one hand, because the trigger is hard and it's actually a pretty big gun.

Things I liked: (this is my second review after testing this gun more extensively) Accuracy! Before I wrote that I didn't know what the accuracy was, well know I do. Its AMAZING! from 15-18ft I was only a hair or two away from the center bullseye (about the same size as a dot from a sharpy)! I can get groupings around a half inch from 15-25ft. When I'm finished emptying a Co2, the 1inch zone on my target is practically blown out! (excluding the rapid fire flyers ;). From what I can tell, everything on this gun is made to last a while: the break-open hinge's locking device is metal, the exterior is metal (except for the barrel covering and the snap-on grips, they are plastic and they snap on to metal... how long will that last?)
Things I would have changed: As I said before, the grips are weak, and inner steel barrel can slide inward and out (when you open the gun from the hinge), but not outwards, this hasn't caused any problems and may be nice for cleaning)
What others should know:BUY THIS GUN, you will not be disappointed. Looks almost exactly like a real 357 magnum. Also, the weight and heft will make anyone want to shoot it.

Things I liked:This is a big pistol with a solid metal exterior, barrel, trigger, and hammer. (although the outer grips are plastic as well as the barrel covering). I haven't had much time to test the accuracy, although it seems pretty good. I also liked that this gun came along with a trigger guard. When I first fired it, I was impressed with the sound, (it sounds like a firearm just toned down) and the flash of smoke.
Things I would have changed:New grips, the snap on ones that the gun comes with scare me, even though they mold nicely with my fingers. I'm afraid that they will either snap off when I'm shooting, or eventually break. So far, though, they seem to work fine as well as snap on tight. Also, I would have had smaller (and better quality) sights. The ones that are on the gun seem to be bulking, which decrease my accuracy. Also, the sights that my gun came with were very wobbly until I tightened elevation, which made my sights extremely low. I fixed this by pushing some flash card paper under the sight, and tightening the elevation screw all the way.
What others should know:This is the fastest revolver pistol for the money on this site. It seems sturdy and I was very impressed with all the metal. This gun is only a pound lighter than my 880 rifle! Don't fire to fast though, or your speed will slow down.

What others should know:This is a big pistol, not for kids. I have shot several different type pellets and never had any jams. This is a powerful pistol, especially when using lightweight pellets like PBA Raptors. Powerlet is easy to load. Very accurate. I have LOTS of airguns and I'm very satisfied with this pistol. This is the best deal out there for a co2 pellet pistol.

Just a couple tidbits you might not pick up from reading these helpful reviews. Most of this gun is some plastic polymer. The steel barrel is a fairly thin walled cylinder free floating in a plastic barrel housing. The rail above the barrel has a groove to accept dovetail mounts.
The action, trigger and hammer are a steel unit that fits in a surrounding plastic mold, part of which is shaped like a cylinder. This is a solid piece, the cylinder does not rotate, just the 10 round magazine sitting in front of the cylinder rotates. The fake cylinder is the only part that gives the gun a "toy" look.
Now.... to those complaining about the grips, GET A GRIP! A set of wood grips costs more than this gun!
This thing is an absolute marvel selling for under $50 and the grips are nice! They are not sloppy, at least when new. The trigger is firm but crisp. The adjustable rear sight is functional.
Things I would have changed:Absolutely nothing. I'm amazed they can produce these for under $50.
What others should know:Just get one. If you don't like it you don't like guns. Make it two and be amazed at what under $50 buys from Crosman.

Things I liked:VERY accurate for what it is, 1/2" group of 6 wadcutters at 20 feet! i can't complain about that, and i'm not the best shooter. i only used one type of pellet so far, so it could get better! EXCELENT trigger, way better than expected, very light double-action and even lighter single action, tiny tiny bit of creep. SIGHTS are pretty darn good, nothing crazy like hi-viz, just plain old good sights and they're adjustable for elevation AND windage! 10 ROUNDS is awesome capacity for a pellet pistol.
Things I would have changed:the grips are fine for me and most adults, but kids or people with small hands will have a hard time holding it comfortably.
What others should know:i am extremely happy with this gun, and for only $50, what a treat! DEFINATELY buy the extra pellet cylinders, they come in packs of three. i'm happy with the 3 extra i bought but i would have been happier with 6, and for like $5 they're well worth it.

Things I liked:I purchased my 1st 357w several years ago & I like it so much I just bought a 2nd one. They are very accurate & dependable.
Things I would have changed:I would like to see a slimmer grip design. I like the Hogue style grips but a grip frame more like a Model 19 S&W would be more comfortable for smaller hands.

Things I liked:This is the best pellet pistol for its cost.My friend suggested that I get a pellet/bb pistol but I decided not to for a couple of reasons; first off bb/pellet combos only have an 8 round magazine, second if the gun also fire bbs it means that the barrel is probably not rifled which means you lose accuracy and possibly velocity. Also when it says max velocity for bb/pellet combos they mean bbs travel at 475-485, but pellets travel at 415-425, while this drives pellets at 435!!
Things I would have changed:There is not much I would change except for the easier availabilty of the 4in but preferably the 8 inch barrel.
What others should know:Steer clear of more expensive pellet pistols,, this is definetly more for your money.Stock up on CO2 as well as more magazines and don't forget to buy Crosman Pellgunoil. For taget shoting I would reccomend pointed, domed or flathead pellets, hollow point pellets for animals, and for just shooting cans and other random objest get ballistic tipped pellets that have a steel tip for heavy penetration without using bbs which will damage the bore.

Things I would have changed:Better quality grips (cheap plastic that might break eventually...but they get the job done), slightly better accuracy (perhaps it's just me, though)
What others should know:I'm new to this, so I'd say it's good for beginners (or maybe for anyone, really).

Things I liked:What can I say, this is a great air pistol. Very powerful, 10 shot magazine (wow!) and looks realistic. Very accurate, too. And pretty light on the CO2 use.
Things I would have changed:You have to take off BOTH hand grips to load a CO2 powerlet, but at least once the grips are on you can't see the tightener.

What others should know:This is the most powerful .177 multi-shot air pistol I have ever used. Personally, its not as comfortable to hold and shoot as some other pistols I've used. If your main desire is power in a .177 multi-shot air pistol, then this is the one you should buy.

Things I would have changed:Trigger has a lot of slack, tough to determine when the hammer is going to fall.
What others should know:For some reason this gun does not like hunter pellets. Every time I use them they get stuck in the clip. Pointed pellets by crosman are the best I have tried so far. Accuracy outside 20 ft is abysmal, but then again, distance is not what a gun like this is designed for.

Things I would have changed:I, along with many others do not like the grip on this pistol. it is a cheap plastic and a bit wobbily. i would pay up to $50 for some nice custom grips. Also barrel sometimes seem to poke out the end of of the revolver, which is no problem, jsut a little annoying.
What others should know:BUY EXTRA CLIPS! you will want them. also i bought a lazer that i put on top and is perfect for quick target acquistion. also a holster is nice to have.

What others should know:It doesn't know when it is out of pellets. Of you don't keep up with count, you can shoot your CO2 up with no pellets in gun. Needs some type of "empty" stop.

Things I would have changed:metal barrel exterior, well the 11mm dovetail scopemount is great, it gets scratched if you clamp a scopemount to tightly. better pistol grips they start to wobble after about 4 weeks of use.
What others should know:exact replica of the colt 357-6" Revolver. it fits in the Colt holster for the real firearm as snug as the real one.

What others should know: It shot 1.25 inch groups at 10 yards with the factory sites untill I mounted a Daisy red dot site on this gun and it put my 10 yard- five groups at 5/8". It LOVES Crosman premier pointed pellets and does a good job at dispatching sparrows within 10 yards. This is not a hunting pistol though, sparrows and mice within ten yards, or cans and paper targets out to twenty yards are what this pistol's limits are. Alot of fun to shoot and I get 40-50 shots before the power drops off.

You've got to peel them apart like butterfly wings from the front. that has helped us with keeping the grip clips together. you can also zip tie the back trigger for speed shooting :). Dang Good Value for the money. Alot of fun. Powerfull too. Just Avoid the BB's with this gun!
Things I would have changed:metal retention clips for the grip.
What others should know:Buy two and live out your wild west fantasies.
