Things I liked:I used this for shooting rats and squirrels at a ranch. Its very loud and has quite a recoil for a pellet thing. The neighbors mistakes it for a .22LR when they heard it.

Things I would have changed:I would saw off the stock and part of the barrel, add another barrel and call it a shotgun. Just kidding. This thing already is the most high powered air rifle I own.
What others should know:Put something behind whatever you're shooting at if its a can or a bottle or something. I was shooting at a glass root beer bottle and the bottle shattered when the pellet hit it. It also made a nice hole in the fence. Also this thing blew a nice chunk out of a grapefruit, to give you an idea of the power behind it.

though i had to buy a 40 dollar riser mounts for the scope to fit on there it worked like a charm
What others should know:you have to pick the right pellets though make sure you get heavier ones the lightest i would get is 7.0 gr if you go any lower it gets inaccurate and the pellets tumble in the air. i put a drop of gun oil on the oring and around the pellet hole for cleaning purposes ive noticed it also helps with accuracy

What others should know:When i first got this gun it was shooting as load as a .22 after the first day with it, it got much quieter and now im actually starting to see the pellet fly through the air. So if you thinking about getting this gun, get a Crosman silicon bottle to help with the compression.

this is a very nice gun for the price, and it looks pretty nice too.
Things I would have changed:not much really, the finish on the stock isnt very shiney, but is still looks nice.
the trigger has to much travel at first, though this isnt a real problem, because it is easly adjusted with only a screw driver, and is explained in the manual.
the front sight was mounted a little to the left, but could be compensated for with the wind adjustment.
and the sights are plastic, so i dont think they would be able to take very much abuse, but that being said, the do work well enough. (but the gun comes with a scope, so it doesnt matter TOO much i suppose)
What others should know:i pretty much agree with everything it the last review, though i have only used Crosman wadcutters, and a few pointed pellets, so i cant agree (or dissagree) with the recommendations on what pellet to use.
and also, it will be VERY hard to break open for a little while, when applying consistant force... though oddly, a quick downward knock on the front of the barrel (it doesnt really have to be very hard) with your hand will get it open. and it will keep getting easier as the gun is broken in.
and i do find the scope to work well, it was nice that it came with the gun, just make sure its mounted right.

Things I liked:I love the overall quality of the gun. The stock is dull yet nice. I lacquered mine and it looks very nice with an expensive look and feel. I find the balance an weight to be good and it does not feel and handle it's price at all. You should know the gun will be very loud the first few shots, however after a couple hundred shots the oil burns and the spring and trigger break in better meaning it cocks easier and is much more consistent. I hated this gun at first as accuracy was awful but then found it to be amazing now. When the spring breaks in the rifle shoots very consistent with the right pellets and hold. Heres how to make it accurate:
-Break it in for a couple hundred shots as it will suck at first until you do. I recommend cheap pellets at first just for break in.
Don't expect much accuracy here.
-Use only Beeman Kodiak 10.6g pellets. This gun loves heavy pellets and shoots like crap with others and I tried them all.
-Hold the gun loose. Don't shoulder it hard and grip the front. Put it gently to your shoulder and rest it on your front arm about 3" in front of the trigger guard. This allows it to recoil freely as it needs. Also wrap your shooting hand thumb around the top of the pistol grip but don't hold with too much force. I went from crossman pointeds(7.9) shooting 3.5" groups at 25 yards to shooting 1/4" groups at 25 yards or better. I can not believe how accurate it is now, especially for the price. I got pissed yesterday because I fired 5 shots and only put one hole on the paper and couldn't figure out where it was shooting. I decided to pack it in and as I grabbed the paper I saw the torn whole that 5 shots went through. I was in total disbelief.
Things I would have changed:I would not change anything other than use stain or lacquer to give the stock a better look and make sure you adjust your trigger to take a lot of pull out of it. This is easy with a screw driver as it comes adjustable and the instructions show you how.
What others should know:This gun is great however you may be tempted to return it at first. Fire off 200-250 shots and then try Kodiaks and the hold I mentioned before you return it as I am certain you will change your mind. I have heard bad reviews on the scope however if mounted correctly I find mine to be very acceptable. I would like more zoom, but it is of good quality and very functional.

The gun is loud it should be a 3 high mabey a 4 low. For the the price it is a good deal at 1000 F.P.S.
Things I would have changed:nothing really, the sights and triger guard are plastic but I am not draging my gun through the woods. My Glock is plastic and it is pretty tough.
What others should know:remember with the scope, If you move the sights up, down, left, or right it may not move until you shoot or gently tap the scope rings. Pellet gun scopes have to be really tough and must be made for pellet guns, I put a $300.00 scope on a spring piston pellet gun and it did not last 50 shots. but on a 300 Win. mag. it would last 20 years or more.

Things I would have changed:The front sight was factory installed at an angle to the left which makes the iron sights unusable. The scope mount stop bolt set screw did not line up with the hole in the receiver, I had to drill and tap a new hole in the scope mount.
What others should know:Still tweaking the scope, and learning how to shoot this consistently. Accuracy should get better with practice. Use locktite on the scope hardware.

Things I would have changed:Cocking effort is way too hard. Rapport is WAY too loud. If it's illegal to shoot airgun in your city, you won't be able to shoot this one, too loud.
What others should know:NOTE, made in China... Good value, but made in China... I'd buy IZH Baikal with similar specs, it's made in Russia and would be far better quality...
To mount scope, locate a mount with pretruding notch, unscrew that notch out using allen wrench. Mount mounts onto the rifle, making sure notch goes into rifle when screwed back on. Then mount scope.
This gun is WAY too loud, don't shoot it if it's illegal to shoot in your city. And if you do shoot, fire one shot and lay low for an hour!

What others should know:Crosman Heavy dome pellets work great with this gun. also Kodiac Extra heavy pellets and iv also used a few Crow Magnum but i havnt range fired them yet. Great gun from any range with the iron sights. The only reason i give it at 4 under value for money is because of the scope

Things I would have changed:I like checkering on the stock but you can add that yourself and it will keep the price down. sighting is pretty good but I think the rear sight is a bit insecure. I would like something a bit more stable (like on an M-14) I guess I could always remount the scope, right?
What others should know:This is a really good value. at longer distances I've found the Beeman Kodiak to be the most accurate but at shorter distances I like the Beeman Crow Magnum. those little plastic pellets go all over the place. I haven't fired a weapon in years and got this one to control squirrels on my property, which it does an admirable job of. As much as I like this weapon, I'm starting to get a bit more serious about my shooting and will probably upgrade soon.
