Things I liked:this is my first Pellet gun, so I have nothing to compare it against. I like the style. the stock is a dense plastic like material. It feels good, not cheap. It will last a long time. The Raven is easy to cock, I've already fired 1000 pellets through mine. Pretty accurate. It's not a big gun, but it feel good when you shoulder

I prefer the synthetic stock for a Pellet Rifle they are tough, durable, they can be laid down in the wet grass without concern for "wood." Plus the synthetic material's being used today are %1000 percent better than those used when I was a kid 30 years ago. I think you've made an excellent choice.

Things I liked:It makes a great gun for an older shooter with arthritis as well as younger shooters. It had out of the box accuracy that I haver never had before. These are standard sights for most of the Crossman guns and they all pretty well suck as far as being very sturdy. They do work until they are bumped and seem to be fairly easy to break. What others should know:The first one I bought had some factory problems ie; screws holding barrel were buggered when I opened the package, it didn't cock properly after about 200 shots. Pyramyd Air took care of the problems and sent me a new one in about a week.
