    Things I liked:

Well built. Works Great. Moisture control. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe a bigger, easier to read pressure gauge. Price, Hill pumps are the best,But I still have a hard time believing it cost $289 for a hand pump.

    What others should know:

I was hesitant to buy a Hill hand pump because of the price, But I'm now glad I did. I had an issue with the pump I bought so I contacted Hill and Pyramyd Air. I am Very impressed with Their Customer Service. Both Hill and Pyramyd Air went above the call of duty to make sure I received a new pump and was happy with my purchase. Hill was in constant contact with me through phone calls and emails and was truly concerned about what could've happened since a Hill pump failure is so rare. Pyramyd Air is always quick to help and do anything they can to make you happy with your purchase. I am now a loyal customer to Hill Pumps and Pyramyd Air. Buy the Best from the Best with confidence. You can't go wrong with Either.

    Things I liked:

The hose on the Mk4 pump is longer and much more flexible than on the Mk3 pump. The gauge is high-quality and appears accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

I have been very disappointed with this pump. I have had it for a couple months, and have had to tear it apart and re-lube it twice. Now I now need to change out the seals. I typically pump it about 60 strokes, and then let the pump rest for 15 minutes to let it cool. The pump has only been used a few times per week to re-fill a Talon SS from 2000psi to 2900psi. I had a Mk3 pump that worked great with thousands of strokes through it. It worked smoothly and pumped air consistently. Everything else appears to be better on the Mk3 pump, including the foot plate. The foot plate on the Mk4 pump is made of plastic, and attaches via a large PLASTIC nut. This nut constantly comes loose and needs to be tightened. The other irritation is that the amount of air produced per pump stroke is not consistent. Sometimes it produces a decent amount of air, and sometimes very little air. And this is with resting for 1 second at the top and bottom of each pump stroke.

    What others should know:

I would recommend buying a Mk3 pump and switching out the hose for the one on the Mk4 Pump. This would be the ideal pump. I'm really bummed I "upgraded" to the Mk4.

    Things I liked:

Probaly one of the best pumps on market in stock form.but

    Things I would have changed:

But if you plan on supplying pressurrized air/nitrogen like 30 to 50 psi then benjamin pumps seem to work as good for less money.

    Things I liked:

Well Built. Pumps a lot of air per stroke. Looks like it will last for a long time.

    Things I would have changed:

Instructions for assembly, operation, and maintenance are very minimal. Look like the manufacture could do a little more for $289.

    What others should know:

Buy this pump versus any of the less expensive makes.

    Things I liked:

this pump works well to start with. Good pump

    Things I would have changed:

better reliability. bought the pump in July of 2014 and by December is was working half the time. Air was not flowing to air gun and staying inside the pump

    What others should know:

Sent pump in for warranty repair. I was told it would take about 2 weeks to fix. Been an month now and still no return. Called customer service and advised it would be another 2 weeks. Unacceptable to me

    Things I liked:

Cleans moisture out of air..Smooth action. Gauge accurate. Solid unit.

    Things I would have changed:

PRICE.... not including the quick release you'll need .. Longer cord. More comfortable grips.

    What others should know:

Seems well built. And should for the money. I read too many disappointed reviews on others. This unit and company seem to make the most reliable units... Not sorry I got one of the best, especially when dealing with high pressures. I recommend it.

    Things I liked:

Love this pump. It makes light work of filling my Air force Escape tank.

    Things I would have changed:

I'd prefer PSI rather than bar as the main readout on the dial but no big deal.

    What others should know:

Make sure you purchase the pellets used to absorb moisture as they need replacing every 4 months or so.

    Things I liked:

    Componentry of the MK4 Hill appears and feels Industrial quality; Brass fittings and heavy barrel; the base is some heavier duty composite material, not a cheaper plastic;

    Things I would have changed:

    A metallic base at the same price point please.....and just a slightly longer hose;

    What others should know:

    Bought the Hill MK4 for the known reliability and if need be rebuildability; Will be purchasing a 0.22 cal PCP repeater soon;

    Things I liked:

The fit and finish are excellent. It's hard to imagine that it could ever wear out. It's great to know it's easy to rebuild and that the rebuild parts are affordable.

    Things I would have changed:

The plastic base seems a little out of place with the overall excellent materials. Time will tell. I would have liked a small tub of grease included.

    What others should know:

I'm surprised and very pleased with the effort required to use this pump. Pumping from 0 to 150 bar is more tedious than strenuous. From 150 to 190 bar requires more effort but with good technique (letting my body weight do much of the work) it isn't bad at all. I had thought it would be a real gut buster. The moment I open the box I knew my money was well spent. With every use my satisfaction grows. I'll say it this way, on paper it appears expensive while in the hand it appears a bargain. 5 stars squared!!

    Things I liked:

Moves more air than the Benjamin pump per stroke.

    Things I would have changed:

Needs better instructions. The tiny pictures on the side of the box don't make the grade.

    Things I liked:

The pump is very solid. The quality is outstanding.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish it had a lock so when grabbing the handle the pump would nor drop. This is a very expensive item and when I first grabbed it by the handle the heavy pump started dropping and in sweeping motion almost made contact with the gun.

    What others should know:

I shoot the pressure down about 20%-25% from the 200 bar. Then I refill. It takes about 10 pumps to bring the pressure in the pump to the pressure in the rifle. Then I can hear the air enter the gun. At this point: About 1 pump per shot is what is needed for my Sumatra Carbine .22cal., on the lowest setting on the rifle. At this low setting I get over 50 consistent shots at about 800fps using Crosman Premier HP 14.3 grain. Perfect Pair! I would highly recommend biting the bullet and buying this great pump.

    Things I liked:

Included air dryer and desiccant. Quality construction. No experience with the mk3, but takes about 65 strokes to refill a BSA Scorpion SE with 150 cc air reservoir (US 30 FPE) from about 150 bar to 200 bar after 20 shots. Effort just a bit higher towards the end than using the Benjamin pump to reach 140 bar on a Discovery, but still very manageable for a 200 lb. adult. Pump tube was the slightest bit warm after filling, barely noticeable, but I was taking my time, maybe 5 minutes max, for the fill. Highly recommend.

    Things I would have changed:

Include more detailed instructions other than the pictograms on the box. Admittedly, not rocket science though.

    What others should know:

Be sure to unscrew and remove the large black plastic nut before sliding the black plastic "foot" down onto the metal base / gauge assembly, then reinstall the nut. Lube the o-rings for the air-dryer with a little silicone grease (one for the clear desiccant cover and two where the dryer slides down onto the pump shaft. This will greatly ease installation and removal of the dryer clear desiccant cover for future changing out of the dryer media.
