    Things I liked:

This is a well packaged deal. the scope the rifle the trigger all good. great value.

    Things I would have changed:

maybe an illuminated scope. but she is good to go

    What others should know:

I have 2 Trails and 2 Titans... the trails hit abit harder but i'm getting sligly better accuracy out of the Titans. ( i guess i like sloppy triggers...lol) I only use Meisterkugelns CPHp and Benjamin Hp get some skirt deformation and fit too tight...damaging the pellet...they shot well enough for hunting but hole in hole nothing touches the miesterkugelns! Highly recommended

    Things I liked:

loudness is impressive.I like the solid wood stock of this rifle.I'm satisfied w/ the accuracy & power.the scope is so clear & nice.

    Things I would have changed:

it's hard to break the barrel.after firing 100 pellets,my arms hurt and sore. They need to make it easy to break and return the barrel.

    What others should know:

I recommend this for people who want .22 air rifle.

    Things I liked:

After nearly 500 pellets/1 week of daily shooting, I liked: The very smooth shot cycle, the Nitro piston, the CenterPoint scope, and the bull barrel. My Trail came with a sling, too, which is something I regularly use and would have purchased separately. This rifle is a pleasure to shoot, very well balanced and wonderfully smooth, and the scope is of higher quality than I expected- nicer than the one on my Storm XT. With CPHPs I'm driving tacks at 20 yds., literally shooting the same hole.

    Things I would have changed:

The quality of the woodworking on my rifle could be better. It's really the only aspect of the rifle that I'm not 100% happy with. The sanding wasn't smooth, and often went against the grain, and the stain wasn't evenly applied. The grain of the wood is nice, but really makes the substandard finishing a shame, because it detracts from what is otherwise a beautiful rifle. It is for this reason I give four stars instead of five for overall rating) The trigger could be better too, but it isn't awful, and I would do a trigger upgrade on almost any rifle anyway...

    What others should know:

This is a powerful, accurate, and easy to shoot rifle- just plain fun!. The Nitro piston makes the cocking action silky smooth, reduces the recoil and noise, and allows you to leave the rifle cocked for longer periods of time than a typical springer. The fit and finish may not on par with a high dollar Beeman or RWS, but the price and shooting attributes of this rifle more than make up for it. Unless you're already accustomed to the outstanding wood and metal working of a high dollar air rifle, you won't be disappointed in this one.

    Things I liked:

PyramidAir shipped it FAST - 3 biz days to TX. Quality stock. Laser laser cut checkering nice, good fitting stock. Solid mechanical cocking action, feels tight and well made.

    Things I would have changed:

Heavy rifle. Could be the wood stock... Sling that comes with it is light weight nylon and IMHO kind of cheesy given the weight of the rifle.

    What others should know:

I upgrade the trigger to the CharlieDaTuna GRT III, based on various reviews. At installation, I noticed my NP had a machined trigger, not the stamped steel discussed by most earlier NP owners. So.. not sure if the GRT III is THAT much better than the new stock triggers - looks good though! Don't attempt to zero in scope until after 100+ shots. Best - 1.5" groups - zeriong in at 100 ft using 16gr Predator pellets. Very sensitive to pellet choice - pick one and stay with that pellet!

    Things I liked:

I must say that my first impression of the gun was not favorable. The pellets were hitting the target area sideways. Started to adjust the scope site, horizonal locked in easy. Then went for the vertical, good grief I had adjusted the knob all the way up to lock and the gun was still shooting 2 inches below the aim point. Very bad barrel droop. Called tech support and they told me to put a shim at the back of the scope. Did this and everything is good. This is my first gas piston rifle and I love the action. The pellets, after shooting a can of wadcutters, are now hitting the target square on and making clean holes. Good accuracy at 30 feet.

    Things I would have changed:

Better barrel locking system, maybe a barrel latch.

    What others should know:

Weight, feel and presence of gun are great. A fun shooter.

Impressive. Quality compares very favorably with the better European guns. Very nice finish on action and barrel, and on stock. Quality throughout.

    Things I would have changed:

    Trigger could be better.

    What others should know:

I haven't put many rounds through it yet, or I might have rated it even higher for accuracy.

SOLID Wood Stock, Easy to reload, Nice Delivery! Nice scope still having fun shooting it. Not that loud for a .22 Cal

    Things I would have changed:

TRIGGER draw to long, little Heavy but i like solid heavy weapons, was going to get the npss synthetic stock but reviews indicated stock flaking issues so went with wood its proven. Plus little more velocity with the right ammo.

I have the NPXL in .22, bought the Trail NP.22 for my son and its perfect. Very light, quiet, easy to cock and just as accurate as the NPXL

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger needs to be switched to the GRT111 which we did even b4 breaking in.

    Things I liked:

Price, value for money compared to other Nitro's, quality, accuracy, wood stock and CenterPoint scope... not to mention Pyramyd's excellent customer service. I chose this gun to replace a defective "Made in USA" Nitro... so don't beat up on these "Chinatown" models too much! My needs didn't require a 1000+ FPS zinger, so I opted for this model. I also didn't want a .177 because I wanted a little challenge in the accuracy department that the .22 gives. Plus, my newly Leapers scoped (thanks Pyramyd) 20 year old Crosman 2100 still shoots amazingly accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

Barrel droop and/or Weaver rail weld misalignment... I had to shim the rear scope mount with two strips of electrical tape to get the gun to shoot high enough to bring the turret adjustments pack into play. It shot 4" low at 15 yd with the maximum adjustment before tape. The trigger is AWFUL! It felt like Morse code sequence squeezing it off (... ---...--. BANG). Just go ahead and order a GRT3 and get it over with. It REALLY does make a difference! I wish Pyramyd would/could carry these. The wood stock is very nice and yes, like other reviews, I wish it had a couple coats of lacquer.

    What others should know:

Mine loves JSB Diabolo Exact pellets. Typical one-hole, just over 1/2" groups that a dime still completely covers (15 yd indoors) are routinely obtained. I wish they made wadcutters- I love the crisp, clean holes. It also likes Meisterkugeln's but I haven't mastered dime-size results yet. It hates anything with a GAMO name... of course, everything I have, hates GAMO (and now, so do I). Crosman Premier's HP shoot a reasonable group... but nothing like the JSB's (seems like there's always one flier with everything except the JSB's). I'm using a modified "artillery" hold- similar to a high-power target bench rest rifle hold... so I might have slightly better results with this gun if I succumb to the un-natural artillery method. If it hadn't been for the difficulty I had with the scope zeroing due to either BBL droop or the Weaver rail, this thing would have gotten a 5 * overall rating. Of course, your experience and rifle may be different. Mine might have been manufactured just out of tolerance but I found a way to compensate, so it's no biggie. I believe that unless you're hunting and need the higher FPS, this is the best Nitro Piston out there for the money. BTW, I think my break-in period was around 75-100 pellets. I'm not really sure because my order of JSB's from Pyramyd arrived at that time. I've shot the GAMO's again, just to see if the break-in period would positively affect them... NOT! They'll be in the recycle bin soon for the next pick up.

    Things I liked:

the weight of the gun is decent cocking is easier, the gun will shoot as well as the person shooting, for the price you pay its very good deal

    Things I would have changed:

i highly recommend changing the trigger to a GRT 111, the original trigger has to much play, which will make you kinda second think about the gun once i upgraded the trigger i was able to do guaranteed 50-80 yard shots perfect

    What others should know:

the gun comes with a excellent scope and weaver rail ,and is welded on so even better for stability, the gun does have a kick to it, similar as any other rim fire or center fire .22s, great gun i would put this gun in similar classes of a PCP

    Things I liked:

This gun is incredible! It's pretty loud until you get about 30 pellets through it, but then the it's about what you would expect.... about half as loud as a spring powered pellet gun. I started out using beeman field round point pellets and it has stayed dead on since the initial sight in. The feel of the gun is well balanced and the finish and quality is top notch. If something were to happen to it, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. Unfortunately, my wife has nailed every squirrel within a 10 mile radius of our bird feeders with it, so we will have to wait until the next batch grows up to enjoy shooting this gun again. If you are looking for a great pellet gun.... this is the one to get!!

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing!

    Things I would have changed:

Like many other reviewers - The trigger

    What others should know:

Very good looking rifle and feels good when shooting. My Trail NP hardwood is in .22 cal. I've had it a week and put 200 pellets through it. I have been exclusively shooting Beeman 14.6 gr. FTS. Be patient with this rifle as consistant groups did not happen with mine until I had fired 120 pellets through it. The stock trigger is horrible!!! Very long trigger pull & not real smooth. Adjusting the trigger helps some, but not much. Also, adjusting the trigger to shorten travel results in the safety getting very close to the trigger when its in the safe position. Did not like that at all & made me nervous taking safety off. Dropped in a GRT-III trigger yesterday & today shot a 3-shot 1/4 inch ctc group @ 10 yards. Moved back to 25 yards and shot a 3-shot dime size group. Both groups were shot using bag rests from prone. Overall this is a very nice combo for the money. The Center Point scope is well suited for this rifle & the included sling is a nice accessory.

    Things I liked:

Awesome air gun for the money or at any price for that matter. Sure, it's not as accurate as my Benjamin Discovery but it's darn close. It took me 300 pellets to break it in. I put an aftermarket trigger on as recommended here. The trigger is decent now. A little heavy still but better than my Disco trigger. I can hit a 2 1/4 inch plate at 40 yards off-hand most of the time. The stock is comfortable to carry. The scope is decent.

    Things I would have changed:

Better stock trigger. (but aftermarket triggers are available.) The gun is bigger than my hunting rifle but that's the nature of Springers.

    Things I liked:

This gun appears to be very well made and is really a good looking gun. Easily mistaken for a regular hunting rifle. The cocking effort is a little much, but it IS definitely manageable for a normal size adult. I really like the thumb hole stock, it is very beneficial in holding and carrying as well. This gun is QUIET. The nitro piston is nice because I can leave it cocked and stalk my prey. The recoil is there.. but not excessive at all. The bull barrel is nicely blued. The scope is awesome, truly a hunters scope. I love the adjustable objective and the magnification. The magnification really helps you visually bring the target closer to you. The range on this gun is also impressive. Speed is up there too!! I have to get the rifle broken in and then I will report back on accuracy. I also, haven't really sighted the gun in yet. Cannot say enough about the apparent quality of this gun and scope combo... i searched for a month to find the gun I wanted... I looked and thought about getting the Walther Talon Magnum .22, the RWS 34 in .22, and the Gamo Whisper in .22 calibers. I am VERY GLAD this one ended up being my choice. I was totally sold by the nitro piston.... IT is well worth the price and seems very well made.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish this gun had fixed sights ... not really needed but if you didn't want to use a scope... then you would have them. other than that... this is top notch.

    What others should know:

Do not ... DO NOT hesitate.. this is a serious gun. The only reason I have not given the gun a % star for accuracy is because the gun is not broken in yet. However, it appears to be good. Wood work is nicely done, and the GUN is extremely quite... perfect for plinking, hunting, or whatever else you might have in mind. Free sling in the package that is also very nice.

Build quality (like all Crosman products), fit and finish, nice stock, good value for $

    Things I would have changed:

    What else... the trigger. (Ughhhh....!)

    What others should know:

I've had this gun for a few days, and have probably put about 200 pellets through it, so these are just some preliminary thoughts. I'll write an updated review after I've had more time to play with it. First of all, the Trail NP feels solidly built and the fit and finish are typical Crosman (i.e., high quality in my experience). This is a heavy, solid gun. The cocking effort is pretty reasonable, and the barrel seems to lock up tightly to the receiver. The included CenterPoint scope is clear and well built (although I wish it had lock-down turrets). I sighted in with Crosman Premier hollowpoints, and have been shooting them almost exclusively thus far. I have tried a few others (JSB express, Crow Mags, etc.), but until I get it all the way broken in I'm trying to feed it mostly the CPHPs. My groups go crazy if I switch. Overall, the gun is pretty accurate (or rather, I should say I am fairly accurate with it), but I have to say - this is not an easy gun to shoot accurately IMO. At least not initially. I'm sure my groups will shrink with break-in, and I've been shooting PCPs exclusively for a while, so no doubt part of it just re-adjusting to a gas springer. Now, the trigger. Honestly, my opinion - it's AWFUL. Truly. And it's a shame, because it almost single-handedly ruins an otherwise nice gun. As soon as I finish this, I'll be ordering a GRT-III trigger. Was hoping to avoid that, but this is too nice a gun to waste on the factory trigger.

    Things I liked:

Hardwood is nice. Scope is very nice for the money. Gun is quiet. Nice power. Love the gas spring. No spring torque is awesome! Came with a free sling.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger was not that great, but ok. I swapped it out with the GRT-III trigger and it is much nicer now. The hardwood on mine was a bit damaged inside by the cocking arm attached to the barrel. It scraped the hardwood on the first few cocks of the gun.

    What others should know:

I had to personally contact Crosman because they didn't have the gun listed in the model section for online registration. So if you tried to register it online and didn't see the gun in the model section... Check again!

    Things I liked:

Over all I think this air rifle is a good value, the wood is very good, the bluing is rich and dark and the optics are a good match for the rifle. The nitro piston makes for a very predicable recoil. Cocking is smooth but does require a good amount of effort. This rifle is very accurate with crosman domed premire 14,3 grain pellets. Avery good value overall.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is the weak ink in this package, i'm sure it will get better in time, however the with the overall quality as good as the rest rifle is it's ashame to have the trigger be this poor. Ill upgrade it.

    Things I liked:

Hard shooting, very nice workmanship & fit of parts, great design (excluding the trigger) and consistent in aim and velocity.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger has to go. Even after 200 + rounds the trigger, originally inconsistent in its trip point and rugged pull became smoother and more consistent, but the 2nd stage was never adjustable and required about 5/8" pull before tripping.

    What others should know:

The GRT-III trigger from CharlieDaTuna made this the rifle I thought it should have been from the factory because everything else about it is just high quality in looks and in action. I've put 350+ rounds through it now and this was 100+ of the 16.4 gr Predator and 100+ of the cheap''' 14.x gr Daisy wadcutter and I also put approx 80 rounds of the H&N Baracuda Match .22 Cal, 21.14 Grains, Round Nose. All three of these pellets had different, but consistent, points of impact at both 10 meters and 50 feet. With the GRT-III trigger installed even I, who am no expert rifleman, was putting rounds in 3/8" circle at 10 meters and didn't do nearly so well with the original trigger. I'm very glad to have bought this rifle and it is my 2nd pellet gun owned as an adult. The first one I've used for many years and killed numerous varmints with is the old 197X year model 1377C Crosman.

    Things I liked:

Hardwood is checkered very nicely in several key areas. Benjamin logo pleasantly etched into underside of stock. Very tight seal between breech and compression chamber. Weight is nice, albeit a bit muzzle heavy w/ the bull barrel. Scope is very nice for a package at this price point. Nice ventilated shoulder stop.

    Things I would have changed:

The whole thing came way over oiled. The trigger blade would get oil leaked on it by using the gun the first few rounds. Hardwood was messed up a bit where the lever that cocks the piston from the break-barrel contacted some wood and smashed it. Sling came frayed at one end, not properly heat treated. Hardwood had a few dings, and one white spot near the grip. Pretty hard to break the barrel, and close it. Need to tap it hard to get it open, prying with your hands doesn't do it.

    What others should know:

At least in mine there was a sling. This may be temporary.

    Things I liked:

Overall Quality and looks were better than I expected. Stock trigger was only fair, had alot of creep. Changed it to a charliedatuna, much improved. Have shot about 300 rounds through it. Like the feel, sound. Have had a lot of problems getting it to group consistenly. From what I have researched on forums this is most likely due to it being a lighter weight springer or most likely being very touchy to the shooter. I like the overall feel to the gun so I'm going to give it a fair amount of time to group better. I've tried 7-8 different pellets, nothing that i'm happy with yet. I have ordered a couple of different heavy pellets to try. Hopefully one of those will group better.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much other than the trigger

    What others should know:

If your looking for extreme accuacy out of the box probably not the best choice. But for this price I don't think your going to be able to buy a tackdriver. So expectations should be realistic
