Each component from the tubular metal frame down to the electronic circuit board is designed and manufactured in the UK to ensure reliable accuracy with each fill.
Several enhancements have been made to increase its efficiency over other units. One such enhancement is the automatic air pressure purge system that strategically evacuates air during a cooling cycle, a pause in the fill, or when it’s done filling. This helps to ease any strain on the motor when it kicks back on against higher pressures and has the side benefit of discharging any moisture from inside the system.
For accuracy and to ensure that the owner doesn’t need to recalibrate during major services, this air compressor comes with a digital pressure sensor and an analog pressure gauge. The EC3000 EVO has a wide range of pressure settings for many different applications and is accurate down to the last PSI. It can be set as low as 755 PSI (50 bar) all the way up to 4,500 PSI (310 bar) making it the ideal compressor to charge a wide variety of air guns.
The digital display and rotary knob are intuitive and give quick access to settings like target pressure and the ability to select units of pressure between BAR, PSI, or MPa. Hill Crank Case Oil is in the perfect size bottle for the unit as it takes almost the whole 50ml bottle to fill the crank properly on the initial fill, and should not need topping up for some time.
The Silicone Oil is used all the time by the pump and should need replacing after approximately 50 hours of run time.

Arrived fast. Packaged very well. No damage. Straight forward instructions. Like the silicone system since it is compatible with air gun lubrication. Compact. I like that the air filter attaches to the frame. It pumps air and pressurizes very well, very little strain on the system.
Things I would have changed:Would include a test plug. Had to order that to try it, don't have a PCP yet. Would have a handle to move it around with one hand, okay as is. Couldn't get it to pressurize at first. I had to shut off the fan to listen for a air leak. It was the bleed valve leaking. I had to tighten it really tight by hand so it wouldn't leak. It then held pressure after it shut off at 310 bar. The vessel with the bleed screw isn't perpendicular, noticed that soon as I lifted it out of the box. I think the bracket is engineered out of tolerance, really was disappointed, everything else is perfect.
What others should know:Pretty noisy, I use earplugs when I use it. Vibrates when running, I hold onto the handles to dampen the vibration, probably not anything to worry about though. After figuring things out, really happy that I went with Hill. It will be perfect for my Air Arms PCP, and a buddy tank if I need one. Pyramyd is a good vendor, and they have a good educational website.
